InboxDollars Review: Is It Legit Or A Scam?

inboxdollars review

Welcome to my Inboxdollars Review.

Inboxdollars is yet another get-paid-to (GPT) website that is promoted to help you make money by completing offers, watching ads, taking surveys, reading emails and more.

In this review, I discuss how to make money with Inboxdollars, whether they’re a legit company or a scam.

I’m not a big fan of GPT, because you can spend a lot of time completing small tasks and not make a hell of a lot of money. I have read that it can be anywhere between $.30 to $1 per hour.

Whether that’s a good reflection of what people earn – I dunno, as this is largely determined by how many tasks you have available in your location.

I personally, don’t see it as a worthwhile money generator, if you compare it to some other money making options online.

So this means that you will make money (or should I say pennies) if you persist with it – but frankly there are a lot better ways of making money.

Earn an Instant $5 Bonus Just for Signing Up

Whilst you do get a $5 sign up fee when you join InboxDollars, you can’t actually get your hands on it until you reach the minimum payout threshold, which is $30. Try getting $30, it’s harder than you think.

You can see how I earn money online here (income proof).

There are a lot of other GPT websites, that have much lower minimum payout threshold of $5, so the fact that Inboxdollars threshold is $30, kinda makes you think that the $5 is merely a hook, to get you completing as many tasks as possible to make them money.

In my opinion, InboxDollars should rephrase it’s name and call themselves InboxPennies, because that’s about what you’ll make from them.

Delivering papers will probably pay more.

Okay, so I wasn’t intending on dissing them, but look, if you get paid $0.20 for completing a 20 minute survey then – sumthin ain’t right.

If you like doing surveys then an Inboxdollar alternative would be Opinion Outpost and Swagbucks. Like Inboxdollars, Opinion Outpost comes with it’s fair share of problems too, but that’s just something you have to put up with when dealing with survey websites.

What is Inbox Dollars?

There are two groups of users.

How To Join Inbox Dollars

This is a fairly simple process.

1) Sign up with your name and email address, be sure to use a dedicated email address for InboxDollars due the the number of emails flooding your inbox.

Inboxdollars free $5 signup bonus review

2) From there, simply activate your account and you will receive the $5 sign up bonus.

Whilst, the though of earning $5 for simply signing up is a great incentive to join, the reality, paints a different picture.

You see, you can’t actually redeem that $5, until you have reached the minimum threshold which is $30.

Fine you say – I’ll just complete a few surveys, watch a couple of videos, answer some emails and I’ll rack up $30 in no time.

Let me know how you get on with that. 🙂

How Do You Make Money With Inbox Dollars?

To make money with is inboxdollars safe reviewInboxdollars is pretty simple and really just a case of following prompts, completing surveys etc.

Here’s how you can get started:

Take Online Surveys

Most online surveys for money pay from $0.50 to $5.00 and take 3 minutes to 25 minutes to complete.

There are some online surveys that pay $10, $20, or even more if you match the demographic profile they are looking for.

Taking surveys for money is a popular way to earn.

The biggest problems I see with taking online surveys is that you don’t often qualify for all surveys, which means that you’re spending time answering pre-qualifying questions that may never turn into money.

Imagine being reject 4 times in a row and spending around 20 minutes on each, filling out pre-qualification questionnaires – that’s gotta hurt.

As you can imagine this can be not only time consuming, but extremely frustrating.

Watch Videos

Big brand companies want consumers to watch short snippets of their content, like movie trailers or new product features. They pay Inboxdollars, and they share a portion of those earnings with you.

Sounds good on paper, but the amount of money you earn from watching videos is a very small amount.

Get Rewarded for Playing Games

They feature a wide array of games like Monkey Bubble Shooter, Mahjong Solitaire, Outspell, and Candy Jam. In addition, they partner with GSN casino to offer you access to hundreds of GSN games.

For every dollar you spend on GSN games, you earn 18% cashback.

Cashback for Online Shopping

Earn cashback while you shop online, get free samples and discounts from top brands, and more. They’ll also share with you insider savings tips on where to find the best free stuff online. New offers posted regularly for members to save and earn.

Get Paid To Read Emails

Receive offers directly to your email, and they’ll pay you cash for reading them, or complete the offer for additional earning opportunities.

Coupon Cash Rewards

Get access to free coupons for groceries, home, beauty and more. Use them to save money on your everyday purchases while also earning cashback in your account for every coupon you redeem

Referral Program

Like a lot of get-paid-to websites, Inboxdollars allows you to earn $1 for referring a person who activates their account. This only applies to the first 5 referrals, after which you will be able to earn 30% of new referrals for the life time of their membership.

How Long Does It Take To Get A Check From Inbox Dollars?

How long does it take to process a check? Non-Gold Members: 1st payments are processed 10-16 days after your request, on Wednesdays each week.

After submitting your first payment request, it takes 10-16 days to cycle through the verification process before the check can be issued.

How Do You Get Paid From Inbox Dollars?

So how do you cash out with Inboxdollars?

To redeem payment from Inboxdollars, you simply go to the Request Payment Page and so long as you have adequate money (over $30) in your account you can redeem it for Epayments including, Merchant Cards (Gift Cards), Donations and Prepaid Visa.

According to Inboxdollars official website PrePaid Visa® Cash Cards are processed by Swift.

Inboxdollars charges a $3.00 processing fee per payment request but $3.00 is then deposited back into your account to get you started on your next payment request.

Here’s more info on that

How Do You Get Paid?

Unlike other survey websites, Inboxdollars has a fairly high minimum threshold of $30, which means that you will have to complete a number of surveys and offers in order to cash out.

Unfortunately, Paypal is not currently a payment option with Inboxdollars.

What I Liked About Inboxdollars

  • Even though the payout rate is low, I still like the fact that you can make money completing small tasks with no or very little skill or experience.
  • I also like the fact that they have an app that you install and use to complete tasks when your out and about.

What I Didn’t like about Inboxdollars

  • I didn’t like the fact that the minimum payout is $30 dollars. Other get-paid-to websites have a much lower payout rate than Inboxdollars, most starting at $5 dollars. This is not unexpected though, given they credit your account with $5 upon signing up. This means your true threshold is $25 – which is still a lot, comparatively speaking.
  • There is a $3 processing fee when you cash out your first $30 dollars, which means the $5 credit you get when signing up actually turns out to be $2.
  • The amount of money you make from completing various tasks is very low for the amount of time it takes for you to complete tasks.
  • Pre-paid Visa Cash Cards and Merchant eCards are eligible for US residents only
  • Partial payments are not permitted, as payment is made in full on the member’s account.

Is InboxDollars Legit?

If you’ve got this far in the review, then I can only assume that you would have come to the conclusion that InboxDollars is a legitimate company. But, being a legitimate company doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s a good way for you to make money.

Yes, you can make money, and yes, it does take a lot of time effort to do so, but they also terminate accounts for unknown reasons.

In fact my test account was terminated and all I did was sign up.

Inboxdollars Review

Imagine, if I had been an active member, completed multiple surveys etc and had accumulated close to $30. Suffice it to say, I wouldn’t be a happy.

Think this wouldn’t happen to you? I bet the folks in the comments below didn’t think so either when their accounts were terminated.

Summary of Inbox Dollars

There are a lot of unmet expectations after a quick inbox dollars review.

You can see a number of inboxdollars complaints in the comment section below from present and past members saying that it can take weeks to get your first check in some cases a month or more.

Of course the fact that you are NOT qualified for many more surveys than you are qualified for also is a great source of frustration.

These type of sites make it seem like all you need to do is to take surveys to earn some extra cash but it can be very difficult to find surveys that are interested in your specific demographics which you do not find out until after you fill out lengthy pre survey questionnaires!

Using this site can be a real hassle and ultimately you will very likely only be making a couple of dollars per week that you can put toward your overall earnings.

This is not the best place to make extra money. The amounts that you earn are too small to really add up to anything and the time that you spend taking the surveys (or even finding a survey to take) is wasted time.

There are other ways to make money online and other sites that can help you to earn a real part time income inbox dollars is not that way to go.

If you want to make some real money online then check out my #1 recommended product here.

  1. I have had the same experience with inbox dollars.
Not being able to qualify for surveys.
What other ways can I generate real income on line?
If you could , point me in the right direction I would appreciate it

  2. Inboxdollars is a scam, they do not like paying the users a dime for all the surveys and spam you collect
trust me I used there site for 10 days for evaluation purposes to see if I would really get paid for the time and effort i put into the services.
the only thing I got was my account terminated during the “payment process” and while waiting for my money I was reading there terms of service and they clearly state they do not promise any payments, In fact they also claim to the advertisers that there members are true and honest while taking the surveys, This is in fact is most not likely true, I would like to see the supreme court subpoena there time recorded surveys
and show both advertisers and consumer how much of a scam this site is.

  3. I’ve been a member of inboxpounds (UK version)for almost two years now and only managed to earn som £90 in four payments, most of it from paid offers like bingo and other rubbish. I have to admit their surveys sucks, not only being potentially low paid, but also due to extremely low possibility of qualifying to get paid. And than you have to double check what you do, I just got one completed a couple of weeks back, spend some 40mins on it as it was promised to pay £2.00, got qualified and than I only got paid £0.20 a couple of days later. Also they don’t seem to pay for radio loyalty captchas any more.

  4. Your review made me crack up laughing “inboxpennies” thats honestly what it should be called. You never qualify for a survey. Theyll make you take the whole thing thing when your almost done they tell you..sorry but you didnt qualify for this survey. Ive spent 30mins on a survey to be told I didnt quality. The only way to make ‘money’ on this site is to actually spend money on their offers. My spam folder is soo full because of this site its ridiculous. I still have yet to reach my first $30. Based on other reviews ive read it could take months just for them to pay me. Once I do finally get my money im done with them. Maybe ill try one that actually values their subscribers.

    • Never again! Getting payment from Inbox Dollars is a joke! I requested payment and was told it would take 18 DAYS to “process”, and just now I logged in and was told that my account was de-activated, I would need to reactivate, and now my so-called payment is another 16 days away. I was hoping for a little extra cash for my birthday but that was a no-go, and now New Years is shot for me too. I plan on posting warnings about this scam on EVERY social media I can think of!

  5. No one is going to pay you significant money for easy work. If you do the searches every day. Do the 3 surveys they offer everyday and click on the paid emails you end up getting to their 30 threshold in 2 to 3 weeks.

    • I guess this Inbox Dollars must be for people that have nothing to do with their time or really believe they could actually make any kind of money doing this. If it isn’t classified as a scam it should be classified as a total RIPOFF. I read all their terms and agreements, which basically said, we can change the rules at any time and without notice, everything in there was not about protecting you, but rather how they have the upper hand on you. If you took this to your attorney he would tell you no way, right down to giving up your privacy rights.
      But one thing that seems to truly puzzle me, and that is this….How Valuable is your time?? Isn’t your time worth more than .07 cents an hour?? Based on Brandon’s comment above and this is within the 2 week shorter time frame, take a look at the breakdown here;
If 1 Survey takes 30 mins. times 3 a day = 90 minutes a day times 7 days a week for 2 weeks is 21 hours divided by 30.00=.07 cents and hour….Really??? That’s a no brainier… even if your doing it for fun, I think I would find a better way. Just Saying!! Hope this helps someone somewhere to see it for what it really is.

      • I think you need to work on your math skills. Try $30.00 divided by 21 to get the correct amount.
Still not much money, but a huge difference from your calculating.

  6. Here’s my experience with InboxDollars. I was a member for over 5 years. I cancelled my membership about 3 years ago. Frank is right. They should’ve called themselves InboxPennies, and that’s exactly what it’s worth, pennies. I didn’t take a lot of surveys because you won’t qualify for many of them. I also didn’t do any of the trial offers because I don’t trust giving out my credit card info to these crooks, plus I was looking to make money, not spend it. But, I did all of the paid emails, and they amounted to about 3 or 4 cents per paid email. The minimum payout is $30. I made about $2 or $3 a month. Now you do the math on this one. I remember it taking about 12 months or longer to reach payout of $30! I even signed up a few referrals and never made anything; I guess they figured it wasn’t worth their time. InboxDollars should be shut down. Getting paid pennies is a direct insult to anyone’s intelligence. There are too many of these type companies that sucker you into believing you’ll make some decent money. Nobody’s trying to get rich, but at least a real part-time job will pay you about 200 bucks a week. We all have been bamboozled and hoodwinked.

  7. Hi Frank,
I have to respectfully disagree. InboxDollars won’t make you rich, but there are a handful of great cash offer sign-ups on the site. I made $40 over the course of an hour right after I signed up. I will say that I’m now to the point where my options are mostly to make pennies, but hey that $40 covered my internet bill for the month. Nevertheless, I enjoyed reading your review and I definitely do agree that there are better ways to make money online. Thanks for the post!

  8. I’ve been an inbox client for over 4 years and has NEVER encountered a problem when cashing out, nor have I ever had a problem cashing any of their checks. Making real money is like biting bricks. About one cents every 4-5 hours it seems. Maybe, I got plenty time to WASTE….only I wish.

  9. i am a member of the site myself and it has taken about a year just to get up the 30 dollars required to check out, in my opinion it’s not really worth it at all getting into this site

  10. I have received about 5 checks but it does take way too long to get to the minimum payout of $30.
I’m just 2 cents away from my last $30.
I’m quitting! You do 10 – 20 minutes of a survey then it says you weren’t a good match for it! When I first joined up I did make $$$ but I paid to try a lot of offers I wanted to try anyway. At least this way you do GET some of your $$$ back doing the offers.
I just don’t have any $$$ to do the offers anymore. Time to get my last $30 check and get the heck out of dodge.
Take my advice….you are better off not signing up for Inbox Dollars.

  11. I’ve made about $50 through InboxDollars, but it’s taken me about 8 months to get there. I’m done with this website as soon as I get this payout

  12. I’ve been a member for 6 months.. Read emails , did the cash offers for places like sophora and the body shop, videos the radio thing just be told because my account only makes money off the emails I am no longer allowed to receive paid emails. Neither am I allowed to watch the videos and the radio app doesn’t work anymore.. And the offers I do make money on they have removed.

  13. I’ve been a member for a year and a half, maybe?

I definitely agree, you will make next to nothing if that through the use of InboxDollars. Qualifying for surveys is rare and the only way to make money consistently is opening e-mails, which will give you pennies. Almost adding insult to injury, you can only cash out once you reach a balance of $25!

Even more embarrassing for this service is that their website is bugged and is unusable unless accessed through the mobile app, which itself is nothing to write home about in terms of usability.

  14. I’ve been a member of InboxDollars for at least a year which is what it took to me to just get to $30. I didn’t mind clicking the emails but once I hit $25 or so, I stopped getting “paid emails”. So I forced myself to do surveys. Once I reached $28 it was 3-4 days before I even saw another survey offered (besides the 4 that are always there “peanut labs” etc). I finally hit $30 and cashed out but if course there was another hoop to jump through, they tell you that your account must “remain active” until a certain date (March 2nd) for me. Who knows what counts as active to them, so I continue trying to qualify for surveys hoping that counts, otherwise in officially done with them like so many. I was just shocked at how difficult they make it.

MyPoints isn’t as shady as them and isn’t as difficult. I’ve been clicking emails for 5-7 years (they offer surveys too but I only click emails) and cannot even remember how many gift cards I’ve gotten from them (a lot in that many years). Not once did they stop sending emails once I got to a certain amount of points. I can quit at any time after cashing out too, unlike InboxDollars who forces you to stay active until your payment is sent.

  15. I suddenly started receiving e-mails from them saying I had signed up and just needed to confirm my account, which is why I am reading this page. I never signed up and have no interest or time for this kind of thing. I think they have taken to scamming people into signing up since so many seem to realize they don’t pay what they promise.

  16. InboxDollars is one of the worst programs. Unlike others, they have a very short “6-months of inactivity and we’ll close your account and keep your money” term. Plus, you earn next to nothing. I too stopped getting paid emails and tried to unsuccessfully qualify for surveys. As such, I mostly did the big-ticket things, like signing up for money back on donations to charities. I accrued $98 and log in monthly to avoid the “inactivity” thing. But, guess what? They just closed my account for not completing anything in six months. They don’t even hold up their own definition of “activity”. So, user beware–withdraw when you can, even though UNLIKE the other programs, they charge a 3% fee on what you’ve earned. Sketchy, sketchy, sketchy.

  17. In my opinion, Inbox Dollars is a scam. After registering and wasting hours upon hours to make a few cents I started receiving a swarm of emails, 83 in one day to be exact, from the companies I was questioned about in the surveys. Not to mention an abundance of calls from unknown numbers. What an invasion of privacy! This is not worth the hassle. Be smart and don’t fall for this one!

  18. InboxDollars is not a scam…

  19. I made about $280 over the 1st 4 months after joining. But I quickly learned that the higher the $ for a survey, the less likely you to qualify for it. So I would only do the 25 cent ones and only if I had an additional 25 cent spin. So a 10minute survey would pay 50cents but you are almost 100% assured of qualifying. I too got tired of getting to the end of survey, only to be disqualified for entering the demographic info. I was “watching” videos, because i found that some just looped,so if i was cleaning or cooking, I could turn them on for background noise. I made too much that way, so I was disqualified from watching additional videos. The offers are mostly scams, but not all of them. Again, the higher the payout, the more likelihood of not getting it. I eventually just ran out of ways to make money, and stopped all together. Put inboxpennies is a hilariously accurate description. I ended up making about $2-3 an hour. Another bad thing is that if you do make more than $300 in a calendar year, they want your tax info, and I wasn’t willing to give them that.

    • Yeah I agree with you 100%. They manipulate of how much videos you can watch, etc. I’m so pissed that I got to $38.25 and they told me and my roommate that closed our accounts because we are only allowed one account per household. That’s BS. I don’t have anything to do with my roommate’s account.

    • I had to submit the tax info as well, but this is true for any legitimate business. They sent me a 1099 at the end of the year and I gave it to my accountant along with my other tax documents. The fact they pay on the books is good, it shows that they obey tax regulations. If you make money you need to be prepared to pay the taxes, of course expenses towards making that money are deductible. I am disqualified a lot, often for days, thus I mainly do surveys while watching TV etc…They should pay more and let u know sooner if u do not qualify, I wholeheartedly agree. In 3 years one a $25 sweepstakes once (Target Card) and am aware that their wheel is a virtual wheel which means some combinations much more likely than others)Have hit the $5 twice and the $1 about 4-5 times. There help desk has some good people and some who do not care. The only reason I stay with it is that little money is better than no money..

  20. I print the coupons from through Inbox Dollars. You earn $0.10 for every one you redeem. I also do my internet searches through ID. Still takes a while, but it will add up.

  21. Their request payment page is broken and they are refusing to pay me the money I earned. They keep telling me to clear the cache. I’ve tried 3 different browsers, cleared all caches and restarted the computer. I guess they are a rip-off.

  22. so im a young teen who goes to high school and my parents won’t buy me clothing from my favorite artist “Tyler the Creator” his clothing brand is pretty expensive. Now my parents are really cheap people so you know I tried to get money on my own, the most they give me is like $10 for the whole week but taking the bus home everyday and buying food lunch takes the money away, I’ve used InboxDollars for like 1 month and only got $7.32 . ? Sad ain’t it. And the worst part is if U wanna take out money you have to wait until you get up to $30 to either check it or whatever

  23. I agree. It does take awhile to build up money, especially when doing surveys and paid emails. I shop a lot online and it adds up much quicker when you link it through inboxdollars. Also, I do print up the coupons and receive (it does take awhile to process) .10 per coupon. It has taken me 2 years but I have over $206.00 to claim. I, previously, have claimed and received $53.00.

  24. They suspended my account just a few minutes ago after I had made 9 dollars!!!!! a total scam!!! I cussed them out in an email and live chat…..looking for a way to report them.

  25. Rip off. I referred a couple people to Inbox Dollars that lived close to me and they closed out all of our accounts saying we were all in the same location and the same person. We provided IP addresses and even went to as far as asking if we could provide identification to show proof and of course it was negative. Lost a total of about $31. As for my neighbors probably the same or close to the same..

  26. Me and my roommate had both accounts and used the same PC. they told us we can only use one account. it doesn’t make any sense because it’s not like we are using each other bank accounts, etc. inbox dollars also manipulates with how much money you can earn per surveys. if you make a couple of bucks one day, i guarantee you, you will not qualify for any surveys the next day! it’s all bogus. SCAM!

  27. Honestly I’ve been using this app for a less than 1 year and have thus far made more than $150. Don’t do the surveys unless the title is specific and you know the market they are searching for. But they are a waste of time!!!I just use the TV part of the app. I use to be able to make $2 a day just with that, but they lowered it to 50 cents. I use this app while I’m at the office or in school. Just leave it playing and have your phone make money while you’re not using it. You don’t have to actually watch it. That’s where everyone is getting this app mixed up. It’s not a waste of time if you’re not actually paying attention and doing something else productive. I don’t think about $.50-$1 a day but making $30 a month and $360 a year for doing nothing.

  28. Not a scam, but you don’t make much. I have cashed out around 300 so far and at another 100 now. I started about a year ago.

  29. Inbox dollars are wicked and rogues. They deleted all my 16$ when I asked for pending points for downloading a fame app.. please don’t fall for this trap and waste your precious time. Try swagbucks instead, they are legit and pay as less as 3$ also..

  30. DollarBox online thie websit scam plz dont w your time i have a$380 i m going take out keeping say you need 2 Surveys i do so meny dont working big scam

  31. It’s a scam.I’ve been making surveys and other stuf for 2-3 months and i was close to my first payment and they decided to ban me for botlike activity.I’ve emailed them to see what’s the deal cause I wasted so much time in it and at the end I was left with nothign and they got all my money I don’t reccomend these thieves to anyone they will waste your time and nerves jsut for their good and will take your money just before you get to 30 dollars (which is the needed amount to cash out).I hope there are not many people screwed as me.Btw they anwsered me email with other stuf telling me that I’m not from U.S. and that’s why they won’t pay me or unban me……..

  32. Not a scam. But it can take a long time to cash out, and then they deduct a few dollars as a fee. I’ve received a few checks from them over the years, but you certainly need patience and persistence.

  33. No it’s not a scam, although lately it seems their partners may be scamming members. I have been an inboxdollars member since I believe 04. Last year they introduced the tv channel, just another way to earn first it was earn up to $2.00 a day viewing this channel then they capped it at .50 which is fine. It takes awhile, you see the same videos over and over again. The player eats up memory, retaining more than half of my 12gigs sometimes.

Lately they keep disabling this service claiming I have an adblocker BUT I DO NOT! They advise me to make sure java, and flash player plugins are enabled. Which they are, the reenable this service just to disable it again. There’s a few problems with their scenarios a: enable java plugin – Mozilla no longer supports java. You have to download an older version to use java now. This version will support java until March 2018.

Inboxdollars does not tell you this – you have to find it on your own. After uninstalling Firefox 54, and installing this version required, the issue with those partner ads still persist. I am still seeing the majority of ads as inboxdollars offers.. So I guess this means I will have the “feature” disabled again. Despite screenshots of the ads, showing them what I am seeing it is being blamed on some security setting, adblocker, or those plugins not being enabled. Rather than checking with their site, or the partner and checking their own ad rotations. When an ad starts to play sometimes it just vanishes and an inboxdolls offer pops up.

They tell me today that this are “popups” and they have no ads in the tv rotation (I’ve watched it since it came out and these were always there). They keep pushing out this java plugin explanation, this should not hold any salt the tv channel worked fine until the latest firefox update. If it is a “security setting” they are doing nothing to push me in the right direction of fixing it.

Firefox has not supported java since March 2017 and with automatic updating enabled it worked fine without that support for the past 3+ months. They should be assisting members with issues not directing them to absolutely useless support!

  34. Exactly what they told me as I was approaching my first $30 to be able to cash out. They said that my IP address has been hidden and that I had the robot like activity of course it’s only after I sent them an email in regards to not receiving something oh yes it was a gift card that kept being promised

  35. They are legitimate but things have slow down for me. One time I did very well with them and the past 6 months have not been very good for me with the same amount of time I have giving to the site for the last 4 years.I use to see as many as 15 surveys offers on any day. Now I am lucky to get 3 offers and I am usually disqualified.what can I say are there any others sites I could do better.

  36. inboxdollars stole $27 from me. It took me 6 month to accumulate $27 then they stop selling notices to my email. Six months later they deactivated my account and took the $27. They are thieves so dont waste your time with them.

  37. I have been a member of for over a year now, i can say that i have received a check for $134.00 . i played one of their sweeps games and i won $100.00 plus i got another $34.00 for reading emails. they processed my check on jan. 31st and i got it on the 5th of this month. they are not a scam. i have the check right in front of me and it is a real check for real money.

  38. Actually was liking this site, took two weeks to get to the $30 payout. Noticed that the surveys had dried up the last couple days, I was at $31 this morning and now my account has been deactivated. Well played InboxDollars, what a bunch of jerks! Best to stay away from this one.

  39. Did ok first two payouts, then on third payout, got an email saying account was terminated. This is after I cashed out. Had to request check before Sunday for them to cut check on Wed. I did this on Friday, two days early, on Monday I get email saying account terminated, Did NOT get paid, so they waited until I did three months worth of surveys, requested funds then terminated, so angry.

  40. They got me too!!!!! Three years of saving money from their stupid stuff and then they just delete my account when trying to reactive it and get my money they tell me that the account has been ‘cleaned’ and no way to get it. What a scam!!!!!!! I would never recommend this site to anyone not even an enemy!!!!!!!!!

  41. Not a “scam” in the sense of the word, but really not a way to earn any type of money. If you can find the companies that do the surveys and do them on your own with out sites like this you will make a substantially bigger amount of money. The “scam” is they take 90% (if not more, to be honest probably 99%) of the survey payout for themselves. Its the same for the “offers”, they will take the majority of the offer from the company, and give you a small percentage, And if that was not enough, they also take a percentage of your payout. This should be illegal as it is criminal to do this to people.

  42. So I accumulated $30 and when cashing out they take a fee, leaving $27.xx of which I haven’t seen anything. Ask for Sephora card 3 weeks ago. I’m going full on BBB on them. Worked with Decluttr.

  43. Hey am kinyiri Asuman from Uganda how comes that most money messages are being sent yet I don’t how to receive that how can u receive that money in my mails while am in Uganda.

  44. They scammed me out of my earned money by accusing me of fraudlent activity when clearly there wasnt any so thet deactivated my account and took the money.

  45. this company stole my credits or rather disappeared them when they deleted my account in January saying I was not active for 6 months when I was currently active in doing offers. Customer service is a joke they speak broken English for 1 and 2 they have no access to any information for your account or the company. those same people are the ones who would talk to the better business bureau when you complained that they will not give you the credits that they owe you.
They gave the better business bureau a new email that I was never given even though I was being asked to send in the original confirmation emails of the offers I completed and I also sent in screenshots but all they mentioned were the fact that they were not going to accept screenshots. they continue to not acknowledge the fact that I have indeed sent them all of the original emails they simply ignored them and it has been over for months. I’m not going to get paid because they are a joke.

  46. I’ve only been a part of inbox dollars for a week, and they’ve already terminated my account and I definitely didn’t do anything wrong so it’s just strange. I only made about $11.00 too..

  47. Inboxdollars is not a scam. You won’t qualify for every survey but you will for some. I can make an average of $1.50 a day. by doing like 3 surveys a day. I have already cashed out my first $30 to see if it pays out and they do. In about 2 weeks I have already made another $20 but I’m going to save this payout for a couple months from now until I hit $100.

  48. Inboxdollars is a scam!! All I have to say is you 1) better CAREFULLY read there lengthy terms and agreement before signing on the dotted line! My account got terminated because I unfortunately didn’t and didn’t realize my sister couldn’t have an account because we live together and have same address and used to use the same computer. We worked on surveys for hours and made $60 plus each and then got terminated and had to forfeit our money! Really sucked! 2) They will give out your information….phone number and email address. So if you don’t want tons of spam calls and spam emails….run away!! 3) They do not have a phone number to contact them. They have a support email and a live chat who doesn’t give you any useful information. Needless to say….Inbox Dollars is the worse survey site that I have ever encountered….you have been warned!! 🙂

  49. I signed up for InBox Dollars, which led to a rabbit hole of sweepstakes and surveys, all of which, had the same 30 questions repeated 2-3 times in a single survey, punctuated by attempts at selling magazine subscriptions. One survey had a couple of telling questions. “Do you believe Trump is the best President America has ever had?” “Do you believe Hillary Clinton should be convicted of a crime?” and “Is Fox your main source of news?” I started getting an ungodly amount of spam emails and I can’t even count the number of spam calls, that are now growing at a rate of about 18 per day. I can’t block them fast enough, though one number has called 21 times in the past 3 days. 11 of those tries were yesterday. Today they only called 5 times… I just started mass spam dumping from my inbox. I don’t even care what’s in the message. If it’s not something I know. DELETE DELETE DELETE! I received a Netspend card in the mail today. Wasn’t able to activate it though.

  50. Inbox dollars is a complete HACK !!! The scratch to wins are fake. I scratched to try and win $10 and i scratched off $10 !!! but the result was “sorry no win” i did it again and it did the same thing with 25 cents but when i scratched 2 cents it went through. It’s a scam and it’s doesn’t want to give up money. DONT TRY IT

  51. I have cashed out several times mo st recent 110 dollars before that I have received 3 other checks one for 36 one for 50.50 and 60 so if you put a effort into earning it pays off nice.

  52. Hello All!

So today I decided to report Inbox Dollars to the Better Business Bureau. They are blatantly operating a “Bait and Switch” sales scam.

On 07/03/19 my Inbox Dollars account suddenly stops recieving any and all survey offers. Twice I emailed customer support with negative results. When I learned other customers had had some of their most favorite and familiar ways to earn removed from their accounts in an effort to make use of alternative earning methods or methods that may cost money.

This is textbook definition of a “bait and switch” sales scam.

Feel free to email if any questions or if u need more info!

  53. Inbox dollars is a very bad company. I was almost at cash out then almost everything completed stop paying, I complained and they kicked me out because I use a VPN for security. A decent company would tell you first not let you complete hours of work. Also I got a phone virus from one of their offers.

  54. I was using inbox dollar for several years while in the U.S. after leaving the U.S. I continued to use the website. When I asked for the money I had earned i was told I would not get any money because I had left the states. Not even the money I had made while in the U.S. They were aware I had left the U.S. but it only became an issue went I asked for the money.
    Total scam.

  55. I did the survey as promised and was told I would receive 50$ if I did the survey. That was weeks ago. I hear nothing. Called them up and was told I just had to wait a while. Weeks later I emailed them and requested my promised 50$. This time was I had to wait weeks more so they could see if I qualify. Bull Tshit! I qualify because I did what I promised, dont need any BS from these scammers.
The California Attorney general needs to smack down these scammer spammers for fraud. They dont ever pay. They just scamm. Letters will be sent to the California Attorney general about these people.

  56. I try to join inboxdollars, first time looking good, got many survey, got tv, got game, but when my money start raising in 5-6$, the problem beginning, limited survey, not qualified.
So i use scrath & win, work well but only for cent, not dollar…
When i got 9$, they ask my number, but i don’t give, then they block all of survey…. Wow..
I still play the game & watch tv, suddenly they block my tv for violation bla.. bla.. bla…
    It’s just watching movie dude…
But i still play the game, and the last, after a got 10$, they block my account… WOW…
Now you can see what they will do to us….. WOW again…
