Welcome to my Kyani Review.
Today I stumbled on a company called Kyani, another health supplement company that is built on a network marketing business model. Is Kyani a scam like a number of reviews out there seem to suggest or is it good way for you to still make money. I’ll cover that in a minute.
Oh, and just one point I wanted to make clear before we get into the nuts and bolts of the company, I’m not opposed to health supplement companies, but it seems to be extremely similar to other opportunities we reviewed recently, like Shaklee, and Juice Plus , both of which are a little sketchy to say the least.
Does that mean that Kyani is a scam because of those two companies? Of course not, BUT, if the business is based on the same business model as the former two, then it’s fair to say that they would share similar successes and of course failers, irrespective of what they’re selling.
There are hundreds of these health supplement network marketing companies, and while some of them are genuine opportunities, a lot of them are blatant scams, and you’ll almost always spend more money than you need to compared to how much you earn, wasting time and cash.
This doesn’t mean I’m anti-network marketing!
Nope … I have had a lot of success with network marketing companies, but they all seem to share the same problem and that is having an effective prospecting method for it’s members, where people come to you, as opposed to you chasing them down.
Working with people who are interested in what you’re promoting makes life a 100 times easier.
This is a totally difference approach to the old school method of prospecting, where you first tap into your warm market, like your family and friends, and then extend to other cooler markets, (i.e.) people you don’t know, who might not be interested in building a business.
The Internet has made it possible to get in front of hundreds and thousands of new prospects each and everyday, without you having to do the prospecting yourself.
And if you’re not developing this side of your MLM business, then you’re missing out on a massive opportunity to build your business.
For example, you’re reading this article, because I knew how to get in front of you.
Obviously, you’re interested in Kyani, either in the products or making money via the business model.
I knew what keyword phrases you were going to type into the search engines or through social media and I positioned myself to get in front of you.
And well, here I am.
So before I get further into reviewing Kyani, I just wanted to say that if you were interested in learning how to get in front of your prospects regardless of whether you are currently in a network marketing business or wanting to get get into a network marketing business, you can learn how I do it and maybe make some money at the same time here.
I know there are plenty of decent opportunities out there, I see them each and everyday, but you need to be careful and do your research before you sign-up for an opportunity; this Kyani review will reveal some information that the company wants to keep hidden from the public.
On that note, if you are already a member of a network marketing company, that’s awesome, and I’m glad you found something that works for you.
What is Kyani?
Kyani is a family-based company that was founded back in 2005 and they’re focus is on health and wellness, vitamins, and other health supplements.
Each of the supplements contains unique ingredients from so-called super-foods, Alaskan Sockeye Salmon, and Alaskan Blueberries. There are three main products; Kyani Sunset, Kyani Sunrise, and Kyani Nitro, these products are sold on Amazon.
What is Kyani Sunset?
Kyani Sunset is a nutritional blend of tocotrienols, Omega-3, Beta Carotene, and Vitamin D all of which are designed to support to the body’s cell health and the cardiovascular and immune systems.
Kyani Sunset is designed to be taken at night (which I guess is why the product is named Kyani Sunset) when the bodies lipid activities are at their highest.
What are the benefits of Kyani Sunset?
Kyani Sunset is designed to support Cardiovascular Health, reduce inflammation in the body, improve healthy skin and hair, maintain healthy cholesterol and blood sugar levels, and support cell membranes and cognitive functionality.
What is the Price of Kyani Sunset?
There are three price points for Kyani Sunset …
1) The distributor price which is $35.95.
2) The retail price $43.95.
3) Preferred customer price $39.95.
What Is Kyani Sunrise?
Kyani Sunrise is made up from sixteen superfoods with the main key ingredients being red raspberry, pomegranate, Panax ginseng, amla berry. It also has wild Alaskan Blueberry which supposedly has 5x more antioxidants than ordinary blueberries.
The job of any antioxidant is to protect your cells from oxidation, which simply means it helps to stop your cells from being damaged. Doing so allows you to be able to stay active longer and therefore gives you more energy for a much longer time.
What are the benefits of Kyani Sunrise?
According to the printed literature it is supposed to help give you a healthy heart, whatever that means, boost your immune system, improve your digestion, support cognitive function, increase mental health, promote joint flexibility and improve your energy levels.
What is the Price of Kyani Sunrise?
Like Kyani Sunset, Kyani Sunrise also has three price points all of which are identical to Sunset
1) The distributor price which is $35.95.
2) The retail price $43.95.
3) Preferred customer price $39.95.
Though this company does produce decent quality supplements, it’s popularity is not due to it’s products, but rather the network marketing opportunity that attracts many people who are looking for a work-from business opportunity.
Like most network marketing companies, each independent distributor’s duty is to recruit as many new people as possible, thus improving their commissions and income.
Therefore, there are thousands of these marketers spreading the word far and wide, to anyone who might listen, and I’m sure that you have probably encountered one or two of these sales people.
You’re probably also wondering if this is a legitimate opportunity that can solve your income needs.
Well, let’s find out.
Kyani Compensation Plan:
The compensation plan is almost identical to other health supplement network marketing companies, a system that is based on Volume, selling products, and earning a commission from your referrals (and their referrals).
In fact, feel free to take a look at their official compensation plan. Then, compare it to the compensation plan of the previous company we reviewed, see if you can spot the differences. Even the Dream Car bonus is the same!
So it’s pretty clear that this opportunity is nothing unique (as they claim) and it’s really not that special, there are many – many – companies that use the exact same compensation plan to boost sales.
What I Didn’t Like About Kyani:
Most people join Kyani as distributors because they are determined to improve people’s lives with quality health supplements and save lives (while making money on the side). The only problem is that these people are not doctors and they dish out advice as if they are doctors, sending a lot of people in wrong directions. You should always consult with a doctor before taking any supplements!
Keep in mind that health supplements are not monitored by health authorities, and some are actually harmful for your health, so this should always be a concern.
Additionally, I didn’t like that the company claims it’s really easy for anyone to make money. The truth is that it’s not easy to make money with this company unless your an incredibly aggressive marketer and most people are not. You’re told to recruit your friends and family members but those people rarely have marketing experience so they’re not likely to make any cash with the program.
On top of that, the membership is expensive, and you have to buy the products before you can sell them. In fact, Kyani makes money on literally everything that you do. You’re not a independent business owner.
You’re a salesman.
I also didn’t like how you will lose your rank in the company if you don’t continue to promote. There are certain requirements for each rank that you need to meet each month otherwise you will lose your rank. It’s very difficult to keep up with the requirements.
There have also been many complaints about the company refusing to cancel customer payments or refund their money. The company offers a 30 day money back guarantee but there are many complaints online from people who never received their refund or they had to chase down the company in order to get a refund.
It’s also important to note that most sales reps sell these products on Amazon. That means the market is totally saturated and it’s really impossible to slash prices so you’re chances of making cash through direct sales is quite low!
What I Liked About Kyani:
Having said that, there are still some upsides.
For starters, many customers claim that the products have indeed improve the value of their lives and quality of their health. I’m not entirely sure if these comments are from people who are told to leave positive reviews about the company or if they’re genuine customers. Regardless, it seems that the products are genuine and they contain a lot of vitamins and minerals that the body needs for ideal performance.
A lot of people claim that, after taking the products, their energy levels increased and other health issues like acne or skin problems were cured. Others mention no results.
I do believe it’s possible to make money with this program but you’ll have to hand over a lot of cash to obtain a business pack ($999) to make the most impact.
Is Kyani A Scam?
Kyani is another opportunity that has some upsides and some downsides. I would say it’s in the grey area as far as scams are involved. A lot of their marketing schemes fall into scam territory, like sales reps picking up new recruits with fancy cars and other demonstrations of wealth, an attempt to hook new recruits.
Not sure how to do that? Well, there’s an awesome online business training course that you can check it out, check out the free trial, it will make it possible for you to create a successful website in months!
