There are a lot of different opportunities available on the internet when it comes to making money online. There are thousands of websites out there that offer various ways you can earn money.
Unfortunately, a lot of these websites turn out to be scams that are only after your money or information. There are also legit ones that turn out to be a waste of time and effort as the money you can earn is not worth it.
Finding out which ones are legit and worth it and which ones are not is difficult and time-consuming. To help you with that, we review the different money-making opportunities available.
We test them to see if they are worthy to be recommended or whether they are something that you should avoid. For this review, we’ll look at a website called My Home Job Search.
It’s a site that claims to help you get online jobs that pay good money. In fact, they even say that it’s possible for you to earn as high as $56 per hour with the jobs that they offer.
But is what My Home Job Search offering really legitimate or is it just a big scam that you should avoid at all cost?

My Home Job Search is a Big Scam That You Should Avoid
My Home Job Search is a work-from-home job site that claims to help people find online jobs with decent pay. It is owned by a person named Michael Andrews.
They claim that it is possible for you to find online jobs that will pay you $14 to $56 per hour with the list of online jobs that they have.
Though this might sound tempting, the reality is that all of these are fake. What the website is offering you are not really online jobs, but affiliate offers where they’ll earn commissions if you sign up.
So the promise of an online job is just a big lie just to get you to provide your details and to sign up to the affiliate offers that they are a part of.
What’s even worse is that the free membership to My Home Job Search provides limited access. There are certain tabs that are locked and will require you to be a platinum member to gain access to it.
The membership is not free, of course, and this is probably what this site is really after, your hard-earned money.
There are actually a lot more issues with My Home Job Search which I’ll discuss in more detail as we progress further with this review.

Who Uses My Home Job Search?
Based on what My Home Job Search is offering the website should be designed for two groups with one being companies and other sites that offer online jobs. The other group are people who are looking for opportunities to make some money online.
In reality, though, this site is only made for one group, and that is the people who own or have developed this website.
This is because My Home Job Search really only benefits its developers or creators. They don’t actually connect with companies or websites that offer high-paying online jobs.
What they’re promoting are sites that offer affiliate or referral programs that they are a part of. Once you sign up to any of these said sites, the owner will earn commissions from it.
But they’re not stopping there. It’s free to get access to the site’s membership area, but it will be limited. To get full access, you need to pay for it.
In the next section, I’ll discuss in more detail the red flags of this site and how much money they are charging for their platinum membership.
Why My Home Job Search is A Scam?
My Home Job Search is a website that claims to help people find online jobs that pay about $14 to $56 an hour.
The site has a list of various online jobs that you can apply for in order to make money. You just need to become a member to gain access to these lists.
But as mentioned above, you won’t really get access to a list of good online jobs where you can make decent money. The opportunities you’ll see there are the ones where the owner, Michael Andrews, will earn a commission from when you sign up.
They’re basically opportunities that offer referral or affiliate programs and the owner gets a commission when someone signs up using the link posted there.
That’s not the only thing that My Home Job Search lies about, though. The members’ testimonials found on My Home Job Search are actually all fake.
The photos are all just stock photos that can be purchased online. So, don’t believe any of the testimonials you see there.
Another red flag is the registration process. When you do a job search, you’re required to put in a zip code and answer a series of questions. The questions are:
- How much would you like to earn each week?
- How many hours can you work each week?
- Do you have basic typing skills?
- When can you start working?
Now, regardless of what you answer or even what zip code you put in, you’ll always arrive at the sign-up page, where you’ll be asked to provide your name, email address, and phone number.
The purpose of the questions is to make you think that the site is legit and you’re really going to get a decent list of online job opportunities. In reality, everything is just fake.
Before you get access to the member’s area, you’ll be presented with a video to try and upsell you into upgrading your account.
There’s even a fake timer and a fake number of slots available to try and pressure you into buying. This is a common tactic used by scammers to trick people into buying or upgrading.
They even say that you are saving $60 since you’ll only pay $29 instead of $99 for the platinum membership. Ignoring it will allow you to go to the member’s area.
As already mentioned above, the online jobs you’ll see here are mostly those that have affiliate or referral programs that can earn the website owner a commission.
The visible and clickable Job Listing tab is also useless since there are zero jobs available. No matter how many times you try to go back to it, it will always yield zero opportunities.
It’s put there just to make the site look legit, but they’ll never put any jobs there so you’ll be forced to look at the other tabs, where the affiliate and referral links are placed.
Some of the opportunities posted are even scams or those that are not recommended. Now, there are legit opportunities available, but they won’t allow you to earn the $14 to $56 per hour they claim.
I also like to point out that My Home Job Search also has an earnings disclosure page, where they say any claims made about the pay is just the best guess of what is possible.
This is kind of the opposite of what they say on the front page when they’re trying to attract people to sign up, but it gets better.
They also mention that there is no guarantee you will make money. They even say that you might lose money, which is probably the only true statement they make on their site.
I’m not applauding them for their honesty, but it is just funny that all the claims they make are contradicted by this page.
What I Like about My Home Job Search
Now that we know what My Home Job Search is and what they are bringing to the table, it’s time to discuss what I like about this opportunity.
- To be honest, there’s really nothing to like about My Home Job Search. Sure, some of the opportunities they promote are legit, but it doesn’t erase the fact that the website is full of lies, not to mention that some of the opportunities they list are also scams or a waste of time. There are just too many negatives for me to even consider liking something about this opportunity.
What I Dislike about My Home Job Search
There are a lot of things about My Home Job Search that I don’t like, but I’ll just focus on the important ones that you need to know.
- The first thing that I don’t like about My Home Job Search is that the website is just one big lie. Everything about the site is fake, probably even the owner. It is designed to just lure people into signing up to money-making opportunities that have a referral or affiliate program so the owner of My Home Job Search can earn commissions. You really won’t find online jobs inside that can earn you $14 to $56 per hour.
- Another thing that I don’t like about My Home Job Search is that your personal information might be compromised. Sites like this usually sell the information they gather to allow them to make money. So, putting your name and email address there could potentially make you a target for spammers, who will spam your email with more dubious money-making opportunities.
- I also don’t like that the owner of My Home Job Search is not satisfied with getting your information and earning commissions from you, they want to complete the whole package and take your money as well. It’s bad enough that the site is already a big lie, but it’s even worse when they have the audacity to try and upsell you a garbage upgrade that will just waste your money. They’ll even try underhanded tactics to force you to buy the upgrade, so you need to be vigilant and aware of these things.
Is My Home Job Search to Be Recommended?
After learning more about My Home Job Search and what it can really offer you, I would say that this is an opportunity that you should stay well away from.
Everything that this opportunity offers and claims is just one big lie to get you to sign up or to part with your hard-earned money.
You won’t get any value from this site, as the legit opportunities that they do recommend won’t earn the $14 to $56 per hour that they claim.
Most of the jobs you’ll see here are just affiliate and referral opportunities that allow the owner of My Home Job Search to earn commissions.
There’s really nothing wrong with promoting or marketing affiliate or referral links. What’s wrong is the way that this site is promoting it, disguising it as an online job that can pay decent money to attract people.
I also advise against trying it out, even the free membership. Giving them your personal details could likely result in your email receiving a ton of spam emails from other scammers.
So it would be best if you just stay away from this site, you won’t get anything from it and it could also be potentially harmful.
There are a lot of better opportunities out there that won’t try to take advantage of you and will even provide you with a decent income stream.
