There are a lot of opportunities on the internet when it comes to making money online. But one of the most common opportunities you can find are Get-Paid-To (GPT) websites.
These are sites that will, basically, pay you to do various tasks found on the site. You can get paid to take surveys, watch videos, complete offers, and so on.
There are a lot of these websites on the internet but not all of them are created equal. Some turn out to be a scam and won’t really pay you anything worthwhile.
There are also those that are legit but turn out to be a waste of time since the reward you will earn will not be worth the time and effort you will spend on the site.
For this review, we’ll look at a GPT site called PointsPrizes. It’s a site that offers you an opportunity to earn rewards by answering surveys, playing games, finding coupons, and more.
The site pays in points, which you can redeem for various rewards, including cash. You just need to earn enough points to be able to redeem them for rewards.
There are a lot of factors that determine how much you can hope to earn with this opportunity. One of the factors includes your demographic location.
The minimum payout is $20, and it is likely that you will need a month or more to reach that. But is PointsPrizes really a legitimate opportunity to make money or just a scam to avoid?

PointsPrizes Seems Like A Legit Opportunity To Make Money
PointsPrizes is a Get-Paid-To website that offers various opportunities for people to earn prizes and rewards.
The site pays you in points for completing the different activities they have. The points earned can be redeemed for different rewards as long as you have reached the minimum withdrawal amount.
Based on what I’ve seen about the site, PointsPrizes seems like a legitimate opportunity to make money. The site does give people the rewards they redeemed after reaching the number of points needed.
There are, however, a lot of issues with this opportunity. Chief among them is that you cannot create a password to protect your account.
Another issue is that this GPT site has high cash out threshold and there’s a possibility that your points will get stuck at a certain number.
I’ll discuss these issues in more detail as we progress further in this review of PointsPrizes.

Who Uses PointsPrizes?
PointsPrizes is designed for two groups of people with one being brands and businesses looking to advertise and engage people in different ways.
The other group are people who are looking for opportunities to make money online. For brands and businesses, the site offers them an opportunity to advertise and engage with people on the site.
They can conduct surveys, post video ads, provide offers, and so on. The site offers a lot of different ways that they can engage with people, providing them some flexibility when it comes to their advertising campaigns.
For people, PointsPrizes offers an opportunity to earn rewards doing various activities. You get paid in points for answering surveys, watching videos, playing games, and more.
The points you earn can be redeemed for different rewards once you reach the minimum number of points needed.
It is easy and free to join the site, and it is available worldwide. In the next section, I’ll discuss in more detail the registration process as well as the different ways you can make money with the site.
How Do You Make Money with PointsPrizes?
As a GPT site, PointsPrizes offers a variety of ways for you to earn rewards. You get paid in points for each task that you are able to complete.
The number of points you earn depends on the task completed. Your points can be redeemed for various rewards once it reaches the minimum number required for redemption.
To begin earning points, you first need to become a member. Now, becoming a member is easy and free to do so. PointsPrizes will only require your email address and you are already set.
Yes, there’s no need to fill out a profile or other details. There’s even no need to have a password, as the site says they want to make it convenient for you to access the members’ area.
After providing your email, you can already start doing the different tasks you can find on the site to earn points.
Before we discuss the different opportunities to earn points, it is important to note that the available earning opportunities are dependent on your location.
The site says that this is because their clients are always looking for their target market. This means that countries like the U.S. will have more opportunities available. This is because a lot of the site’s advertisers are targeting people who live in the U.S.
Now that this fact has been discussed, it’s time to list down the different opportunities to earn points.
The first task that you can do on the site is to take surveys. The site has a lot of different survey routers, which allows you to take various surveys from third-party providers.
The number of points you earn will depend greatly on the survey that you will participate in. The available surveys will also depend on which country you reside in.
Aside from surveys, you can also earn points for completing offers. PointsPrizes has partnered with a variety of well-known third-party offer providers.
The site has divided their offer wall into two, the Top Offers and the regular Offer Wall. A lot of the offers pay good points, but you have to read first the conditions that they require before the points are awarded.
PointsPrizes also pays points for watching short videos. The problem is that this task is mostly available only on mobile devices through the site’s app. The pay is also not that good so don’t waste too much time here.
You can also help mine for cryptocurrencies on the site to earn more points. But your computer or laptop will have to meet the right specs first before you can proceed.
PointsPrizes also has a Giveaway area where you can earn points for entering free giveaways. Completing polls will also earn you some points.
The site also has coupon codes around the web and in their social media sites. Redeeming these coupon codes on the website will also earn you points.
If you like games, you can also earn points playing various games on the site. You just need to complete the requirements to be able to earn the points.
Lastly, the site also has a referral program where you can earn 10% commission on everything that your referral makes.
So what do you do with the points you have earned? You can redeem them for various rewards.
You can withdraw them for cash via PayPal or Bitcoin, or for the different gift cards available. You just need at least 3,000 points, which is equivalent to $20 to redeem your points.
As mentioned above, there are some issues that I have with this site. The first issue is that the site doesn’t have an option for you to create a password.
Now, they say this is because they want it to be more convenient for you to enter your account. But the problem of not having a password is that anybody who knows your email can gain access to your account and do what they want there.
Another issue I have with PointsPrizes is that their cash out requirement is a bit high. You need at least 3,000 points just to redeem your earnings.
And judging from the possible points you can earn from each task, it might take at least a month or more before you can cash out.
There have also been complaints about the points being stuck. The site explained that they have limits on the Bonus Points that you can earn.
These points are what the site usually awards to new users who failed to complete a task in a way that the advertisers intended them to be completed.
So if you experience your points being stuck, it probably means you have reached the limit of your bonus points.
What I Like about PointsPrizes
Now that we know what PointsPrizes is and what it offers, it’s time to discuss what I like about this opportunity.
- The first thing that I like about PointsPrizes is that they offer a variety of ways to earn points.
- I also like that PointsPrizes has different rewards available to choose from. Not everyone has a PayPal account or want to get paid in Bitcoins, so having the option to choose cash or gift cards is a big plus.
- I also like that this opportunity is available worldwide since this widens the field when it comes to promoting this opportunity and getting referrals.
What I Dislike about PointsPrizes
Of course, not everything is good with PointsPrizes as there are also a lot of things about this opportunity that I don’t really like.
- The first thing that I don’t like about PointsPrizes is that they don’t have an option for you to put in a password. This is bad because it means anyone who knows your email can access your account with them and do whatever they want with it. Having a password will at least provide some security.
- I also don’t like that the points system of PointsPrizes is a bit confusing. Not only is it hard to put some sort of monetary value on the points they award, but having some sort of bonus points provides confusion, especially once the site stops providing the bonuses. It would be better if the site just sticks to what their clients require instead of providing points to members even if they don’t complete the requirements. At least this way, they will know what went wrong.
- I also don’t like certain countries having more available opportunities than other countries. Though this is already out of PointsPrizes’ control, it’s still bad that this situation exists.
Do I Recommend PointsPrizes?
After learning more about PointsPrizes and what they can offer, I don’t really recommend it but you could check it out if you want.
My reasons for not recommending this opportunity are simple. First, their lack of security is a big negative since there’s just no way for you to protect your account from hacking.
Second, unless you live in countries like the U.S., your opportunity to earn rewards with PointsPrizes goes down. This means you can’t really expect to earn a lot with this site.
And lastly, the point system that they have, including the bonus points they award to newbies, is not something that you should have to deal with and understand before trying out the site.
Why make things confusing, when they could have made it simpler? But you are still welcome to check the site out and see for yourself it if is something that you are interested in. Just don’t expect to make much money with this opportunity.
