BigSpot Review: Legit Or Scam Website?

There are a lot of different opportunities available on the internet when it comes to making money. There are thousands of websites out there offering various ways for you to earn some extra money.

Probably one of the most common opportunities that you will find is answering surveys.

There are hundreds or even thousands of websites out there that offer answering surveys as their primary, or at least, one of their opportunities for you to make money online.

But with so many different websites all offering the same opportunity, the challenge now becomes choosing the ones that are worth your time and effort.

To help you with that, we review money-making opportunities like survey sites to help you decide if they are worth signing up for or not.

In this review, we’ll look at an opportunity called BigSpot. It’s a site that claims to provide you with an opportunity to make money by sharing your opinion.

They didn’t mention how much money you can make, but it will likely depend on the number of surveys you are able to complete.

But is BigSpot really a legit survey site that offers an opportunity to make money or is it just a scam that you should avoid?

BigSpot Is Not Really A Scam, But It Can’t Be Trusted As Well

BigSpot has marketed itself as a site that offers you an opportunity to make money giving your opinion about certain topics. Well, this is basically what you’ll see on their TV commercials or online advertisements.

Now based on what I’ve seen so far, I wouldn’t really go as far as to call BigSpot a scam, but I wouldn’t really trust them either.

The company does seem to provide an opportunity for you to make money answering surveys, but it’s just not going to come from them.

Yes, you heard that right, as the surveys all come from third-party providers. BigSpot is basically just a middleman for all the survey sites they promote.

They make money by referring you to these sites and by selling the personal information that you provide. But this is just one of the issues about this opportunity.

Another issue with BigSpot is that it is hard to qualify for a lot of the surveys that their recommended sites provide.

What’s worse is that you’ll only learn you are not qualified after already answering several questions. The low-income potential of the site is also another issue.

I’ll discuss these issues and complaints in more details as we progress further in this review of BigSpot.

Who Uses BigSpot?

BigSpot is designed for people who are looking for opportunities to make money online. The site claims to provide an opportunity to make money answering surveys.

They say in their advertisements that you just need to join and start sharing your opinion in order to make money. The beauty of this opportunity is that it is available for free.

However, as mentioned above, BigSpot won’t really be the one that will pay you for answering their surveys. They are just a middleman in this scenario, as they will only provide you with a list of sites that you can join.

They basically benefit when you join as they are likely earning referral commissions. In the next section, I’ll discuss in more detail how this opportunity really works.

I’ll also discuss the other issues that you’ll experience with BigSpot.

How Does BigSpot Really Work?

BigSpot advertises itself as a survey site that promises to provide you with an opportunity to make money answering the different surveys it provides.

Now, that claim is not entirely false as you can really make some money answering surveys with the sites that they direct you to.

The false statement comes from the fact that their marketing and advertising is misleading you to believe they are the ones that will provide the surveys.

In reality, the company is just a middleman and what they will provide you are only lists of other survey sites that you can join.

Their advertisement will claim that it’s easy to make money online. You just join, share your opinions on the different topics, and you will get paid for it.

They say that you will be matched with certain companies that need your opinion. Now joining is easy and free and you’ll only need to provide some personal information like date of birth, gender, email, and so on.

Once done, you’ll be taken to a page with a list of the different survey sites that you can join. Okay, so you won’t be getting any survey from this site but only a list of other survey sites that you can become a panelist in.

This means more sign-ups and providing your information to these companies. But it doesn’t stop there, with many of the sites that BigSpot suggest, you won’t instantly get to start answering surveys.

Instead, you’ll receive a lot of suggestions for other survey sites that you can make money from. What all these sites have in common is that they are just after your personal information, particularly your email, in order to spam you.

Yes, a lot of these so-called survey sites are just after personal information so they can send you spam messages that are likely also about making money online.

Sure, there are some recommended sites that will really allow you to make money answering surveys. But a lot of them are just after your personal details.

So, the site is really just misleading you to get your details and they’re also recommending sites that do the same. But these are not the only issues with this opportunity.

Another issue with BigSpot is the fact that it seems to be hard to qualify for a survey on the actual sites that offer them.

There are a lot of complaints from people that qualifying for a survey is hard. It seems that you will be disqualified in the majority of the surveys that you’ll get to participate in.

The worst part is that most of the disqualifications will happen after you have already answered several questions.

This is annoying as you will have already taken the time and effort to answer these questions only to get disqualified in the middle because you don’t qualify, this is just a waste of your time.

The last issue about this opportunity is its low-income potential. Answering surveys don’t really pay a lot. Though there are companies that do pay decently, the survey opportunities you get are scarce, so the income potential is not high.

But with BigSpot, that potential becomes even lower as they don’t really provide you with the surveys, but only a list of survey sites that you can possibly make money from.

And as research has already shown, not all of these survey sites provide consistent survey opportunities. So this lowers the potential income you could possibly get from this opportunity.

Not to mention the time that you would waste checking out all of these recommended sites and signing up for each and every one of them.

What I Like about BigSpot

Now that we know what BigSpot is and what they are bringing to the table, it’s time to discuss what I like about this opportunity.

  • There aren’t a lot of things to like about BigSpot, but I will give them props for making the membership available for free. I’ve encountered a lot of similar sites that are not even available for free. So, kudos to this site for not trying to take further advantage of people by charging them a monthly registration fee.
  • It’s also good that some of the survey sites that BigSpot recommends are reputable companies. This is a plus as it means you can still at least get something from this website.

What I Dislike about BigSpot

There are a lot of things that I don’t really like about BigSpot, but I’ll only discuss the most important things that you should be aware of.

  • The first thing that I don’t like about BigSpot is the fact that they mislead you into believing they are a survey site that offers an opportunity to make money answering surveys. In reality, they are just a middleman site that only recommends survey sites that you can join. There’s nothing wrong with that, except this means that the site doesn’t really provide any value. A lot of what they recommend can easily be found online so there’s no need to go to BigSpot to find them.
  • I also don’t like that many of BigSpot’s recommended sites will send you a lot of spam emails. When you sign up with these sites they will usually ask for personal information, particularly your email. The reason for this is that they will bombard your email with spammy messages and money-making opportunities. If you don’t want that, then you better think twice before signing up outright.
  • I’m also not a fan of the high disqualification rate of BigSpot’s recommended survey sites. This makes it hard for you to even earn money even if you are invited to a survey, as there’s a high chance you will be disqualified half way through. This is also a big waste of your time and effort.

Do I Recommend BigSpot?

After learning more about BigSpot and what they are really offering, I would say that this is an opportunity that I don’t really recommend.

The main reason I don’t recommend this opportunity is that the site is close to useless as all they do is recommend survey sites for you to join.

All of the sites they recommend, though, can easily be found by searching the internet. So, there’s really no need for BigSpot.

Add in the fact that not all of the survey sites they recommend are reputable. A lot of them are spammers who will just spam your email with messages.

Not only is the site of little value, but it even makes your information accessible to spammers.

There are a lot of better opportunities out there to make money than BigSpot. So I suggest you stay away from this website if you happen to come across it.
