Gano Excel, found at ganoexcel.us, and founded by Leow Soon Seng, is a MLM business disgusted as a gourmet coffee business.
According to usatoday around 83 percent of Adult Americans (which also happens to be the largest consumers of coffee) drink the beverage on a daily basis.
So what happens when you merge such a large customer base with a network marketing business model?
Well, you earn a shit load of money.
Right?
Nope.
You’d think this would be a match made in heaven … I mean what’s there not to like about coffee?
Even if you hate coffee, the business concept is a winner, (i.e.) going after a huge market and using the network marketing business model as a spring board.
Well, I would have thought so, but what has actually transpired is the total opposite.
As far as coffee goes there are a lot of different blends available in the marketplace and so to make their product different they blended a special mushroom known as ganoderma with their coffee.
According to Webmd.com the benefits of this mushroom appear to boost the immune system, including helping to fend off viral infections such as swing flu, avian flu, help asthma, lung issues, heart problems, high blood pressure and the list goes on.
That’s all good stuff until you read the side effects – which almost seem to contra to the benefits.
These include upset stomach, low blood pressure, blood in stool, nose bleeds, dryness of mouth and the list goes on.
And whilst the pros and cons of the product might seem riveting, the focus of this article is based primarily on whether you can make money with the business model, after all if you can’t make money with it, then you’re just a consumer.

What is Gano Excel?
Gano Excel distributes their coffee products using the multi-level marketing business model, which is based on recruiting people to the business, telling them how they can earn a living consuming and distributing their coffee and then duplicating this philosophy to others.
You usually get recruited into the business by a sponsor or upline sponsor who you buy from and they get paid a fee for as long as you’re buying and then you have to do the same thing.
Whilst this might be an easy concept to comprehend, in reality it never plays out as you expect.
For every 100 people you introduce to the business, 20 might be interested in going to the next phrase and then out of the 20, only 2 – 5 will take it further and buy into the business philosophy and products.
Obviously, the more people in your downline, the more money you will make, which means these people have to be buying in order for you to make money.
So in a way, you’re doing all the heavy lifting for the business by promoting their products and in return the guys at the top are making all the money.
This is not unusual for a network marketing business.

How Do You Make Money With Gano Excel’s MLM?
It’s fairly straight forward really, just recruit people and buy products.
Like all MLM’s – the main problem has always been NOT being able to recruit people into the business.
Recruiting people into a business is always the area where folks get stuck.
So honestly, if you don’t have a way of getting people recruited into the business then this business is not for you.
It’s not all bad news though.
There is a way of getting a constant flow of people coming to you instead of you having to seek them out.
Yep, imagine getting a steady flow of people who are interested in what you’re selling, without the complication of holding meetings, knocking on doors, tracking down friends and family or even talking to them on the phone.

What are the Issues with Gano Excel?
There has been some speculations around false advertising and non declaration of products in their blends, the FDA posted a press release recalling 3 of their products based on undeclared milk protein in GANO CAFE 3-IN-1, GANO CAFE GINSENG TONGKAT ALI, and GANO C’REAL SPIRULINA OATS.
Be also aware that the Gano Excel offices in the US and Canada have closed at least once since their inception, so something to keep in mind.
However, if you are considering starting out, you won’t make any meaningful income.
Another thing that should really get you worried is the fact that they do not come clean on their compensation plan.
Their products are also very expensive, with some even being 3-4 times what they cost when you buy from grocery stores.
Also, their product may not have a great taste.
You will be stuck to buying expensive products which you probably would never buy on your own free will.

If there was a way that I could rate this company with a negative, I would have done so straightaway. Their product is embellished with lots of exaggerations but does not work at all.
Moreover, they claim that the product is made of organic ingredients only when in fact they use sugar and non-dairy creamer.
It also contains garbage like corn syrup, glucose, sodium Caseinate, Sodium Silicate and Potassium Phosphate which are clearly not organic.
I am greatly disappointed with the product which they also sell at much exaggerated prices.
This whole thing reeks of scam.

I joined the MLM part of the company after being convinced by their top managers of the great potential that supposedly awaited me.
I was to later realize that the whole thing was greatly exaggerated.
To make it worse, the adverts about the product were false.
The mushroom extract that is supposed to make this coffee different actually carries no medicinal advantage as Gano Excel will have the public believe.
This, coupled with the fact that the product is sold much more expensively compared to its alternatives, made selling the product quite difficult.
In the end, I had to bite the bullet and quit.
Final Verdict:
Based on the several issues raised above, I cannot recommend this product or their MLM business model.
The company has mastered the art of enticing unsuspecting people into the scheme by using exaggerated income and product claims.
And since the company’s payment plan is heavily favors those at the pyramid’s apex, most of people who join end up spending more than what they end up making.
They eventually drop out and their place is taken by similarly misled recruits.
In fact, 99% of the people joining are destined to make loss and also drop out.
