Yeah … you know … hand on the bible, promise to tell the truth, the whole truth, and well, you know the rest.
Only thing is, the case isn’t real, you don’t have to swear on the bible, and you aren’t in court.
Instead, you’re probably at home, in front of your computer with a cup of coffee in your hand.

Why Have a Mock Jury in The First Place?
This allows a law firm to take an educated guess at whether they could successfully win a case based on the feedback they get from a mock jury.
We all know that some cases can last weeks, months or even years based on the details and complexity of the case.
So, it makes a lot of sense for lawyers to understand whether a case is worth the investment, both, for themselves and their clients.
A mock jury consists of like minded people that fit the target profile of a law firm. This can vary depending on the details of the case.
In general the only mandatory requirement is that you have to be over the age of eighteen, a US citizen, not be a convicted felon, under indictment for a felony charge or misdemeanor, have basic reading and writing skills and not be a lawyer, paralegal, legal assistant or work in some parts of the insurance industry.
What Do You Have To Do?
For the most part, you just have to answer questions, make verdicts and in some cases answer questionnaires.
For reviewing a case and making a verdict, a company will pay you $5 to $10 per verdict, this is all dependent on the firm you’re working with.
Some firms can pay you up to $125 for 4 to 5 hours work, which roughly works out to be around $20 to $30 an hour. So, not too bad.
In most cases, payment will be sent directly to your PayPal account, so it is important that you have one.
You can expect to read cases that are 2 to 5 pages long (single-spaced) and it will come with 10 questions, 5 jury questions, and 5 personal questions.
You will need to review the facts of the case and answer the questions that come with it. Once you are done, you will need to submit your verdict via the Submit Verdict button found on the website.

Whilst, being a mock Juror is an interesting way for people to make money, it isn’t a consistent or long term money making strategy to focus on, and therefore should only be seen as a creative opportunity that could bring in some extra cash if you’re in the right place at the right time.
