You know, it never ceases to amaze me at the number of ways you can make money if you just open your mind up to seeing what’s already available.
Some of the ideas I mention below, are, and have been available for you to use right now. It’s just a matter of becoming aware of what has and is available for you to use.
And lets face it, if you can earn an extra $100 a day doing what you’re already doing, or having the resources, but not knowing how to make money with it, then you could potentially be earning well over $100 per day, without much effort.
In any case, imagine what an extra $100 a day can do for you and your family.
Some might say $100 a day isn’t significant, but it would be like getting a $20,000 – $30,000 a year raise (if you work weekends) by implementing a few easy changes.

1. Scan Your Grocery Receipts
Do you keep all of your receipts when you go grocery shopping, pay for gas, dine out or go on shopping sprees?
If you don’t, then here is a good reason to start.
You can get paid to scan your receipts from places you make purchases like grocery shopping, filling up your car with gas, dining out at a bar or restaurant, or even going on a shopping spree.
The spending habits of people are worth a lot of money to big companies who produce products and services to its customers. It allows them to understand the profile of each customer, including where they live, how much they earn, gender, whether they are married, have children etc.
With this information they can manufacture better products and services to be more appealing to the customer they want to attract and also satisfy the needs of their customers.
The trick is to not change your shopping habits by increasing your expenditure to make money, but to simply keep the receipts of your current shopping habits and get money for doing what you already do.
You could view it as a discount of sorts.
Here are two companies that offer this : ibotta or checkout51
2. Rent Your Car Out
For many a car is an extension of yourself and personal, but for others a car is simply a way to get from “A” to “B”. I’m pretty much the former and think of my car as an extension of my personality and for the most part private.
But if you’re just a getting from “A” to “B” kind of person, then this could be a good way for you to earn money, without having to do any work.
There are companies out there that help you to do this exact thing. I know, kinda cool, but also kinda strange.
They act as an intermediary whereby they have created an app for vehicle owners to list their car(s) for hire and then allow potential renters to rent it out.
How much you get paid is determined by a number of factors including the market value of your car, year, condition etc.
So if you have a car that barely gets used during the week or weekends, then this could be a good way for you to earn an extra $100 per day.
What if my car gets damaged or breaks down while being rented, I hear you say, well the company provide $1,000,000 insurance on every trip and even 24/7 roadside assistance.
Here are two companies that provide this service. Turo and Getaround
3. Filling Out Surveys
So not one of my favorite ways to make money, but you can definitely make money from filling out surveys if you complete enough of them. The trick is to sign up to as many survey sites as you can so you always have surveys to fill out.
A lot of the time I hear people complain about not having enough surveys to fill out from one company, so if you sign up to a lot of different companies then overall it should even out and you’ll never be short of a survey to complete.
It can take a lot of time to fill out surveys, but it’s not hard work and if you qualify for the survey then you can make money.
Here’s some of the more reputable survey companies I have reviewed. Inboxdollars, Opinion Outpost, Vindale Research, Global Test Market, Pinecone Research
4. Become a Transcriptionist
I know, it seems to be the rage right now. Get paid to be a Transcriptionist.
It is true, you can make money being a Transcriptionist and the primary two skills needed to fulfill the requirement is to have a keen ear for listening and good typing skills.
If you used to be a PA, or secretary in your “former or current life“, then this could be a great way for you to earn some decent money using your skills.
Transcriptionists can get paid up to $25 per hour, so it does add up depending on how many transcription gigs you get.
Here’s one company that you can check out TranscribeMe.
5. Get Paid To Lose Weight
I know, just when you think, you’ve thought of everything you can do to earn a few extra dollars, something else comes a long that just blows your mind.
HealthyWage is a website that offers just that.
Imagine getting paid to workout … I mean, what better incentive to give someone who wants to lose weight, than to pay them for doing so.
Usually the incentive is to fit into the suit or dress you wore in high school, or to lose that extra 10 pounds you put on over the summer, or to get fit and be more healthy.
Unfortunately, those incentives don’t always work, but what if an added incentive was to make money.
For those who are turned on by the prospect of making money from losing weight, then this could be a great way for you to do it.
How does it work?
The main way you can earn money in HealthyWage is by betting on yourself to lose a specific amount of weight in a given time frame. And since this is a bet, you will also lose money if you don’t complete the challenge.
The cash prize you can win will be determined by the details and information you provided, like the amount you bet, the duration of the bet, and so on.
Aside from HealthyWage, there’s also the $10,000 Team Challenge, where you will need to have a team of 5 people and you will compete with other teams for the biggest percentage in weight loss.
This will be a 3-months challenge and the team with the greatest weight loss percentage at the end will win $10,000.
Here’s another company that offers something similar Sweatcoin.
6. Airbnb
If you have the extra space, don’t mind meeting and sharing your home with new people then Airbnb could be a good way for you to earn some extra cash. You can easily earn more than $100 per night depending on the number of guests, condition and location.
My Brother-in-law recently listed his home on Airbnb. Both kids have moved out from home and now they have a large house with mostly no one in it. They spend 6 months of the year in France and Japan, so their house is mostly unoccupied.
Airbnb is perfect for their situation, and by in large they are earning some decent money for virtually doing nothing and just letting people rent out their property for short periods of time.
7. Make Money Driving To Work
Some say that being a Uber driver is a cheap version of a taxi driver.
Be that as it may, you can earn some decent money as an Uber driver, without all the overheads of being a taxi driver.
If you commute long distances to work everyday, you could potentially pick up and drop off people along your driving route, that way you can earn money driving to work and back everyday.
This bogles my mind at the number of situations this would be applicable to.
Just about anyone can be an Uber driver and you’d be amazed by some people who use Uber to earn extra cash.
I recently watched a clip on Youtube of an Attorney (who was an Uber driver) who was stopped by police because the passenger he was driving was wanted for a crime.
So yes, even lawyers need a few extra dollars from time to time.
8. Selling Your Unwanted Stuff on eBay
Over the years, without really realizing it, I have accumulated a lot of “things“.
You know, the kind of things that take up space in your spare room or garage.
I’m not a hoarder by nature, but you never know when some of these “things” might come in handy one day.
But sometimes, after having these “things” pile up over the years and never being used, you come to the realization that you’ll never use them again.
Instead of throwing them out, and paying someone else to do this for you, why not sell them on eBay. That way you can get rid of a lot of these items and get paid for doing so.
We had an old fridge (20 years old) that we didn’t need anymore, that was still in perfect working order, but would have cost us over $50 to dispose of if we were to do it ourselves.
I put it up on an auction website and within a week it sold for the grand total of $4.50.
You might laugh at that amount we sold it for, but we saved ourselves $50 and made $4.50, so, for us, that was a win.
Conversely, we sold a free standing basketball hoop (after many years of use) for $120, which is not a lot, other than the fact that we bought it for $80 brand new.
My point is, you may have hundreds of dollars of stuff, just sitting there in your garage.
Why not free up some space and make some money in the process.
9. Start a blog
Yep, I’ve saved the best till last.
This is one of the most easiest and cost effective way for you to start earning a consistent income.
It is not a get rich quick scheme (these don’t actually exist), and you won’t see results overnight, but overtime you’d be amazed at how powerful blogging really is.
For example, this blog earns over $10,000 per month, whether I write articles or not.
Now, imagine having 10 of these blog working for you.
