What is AppRedeem?

AppRedeem is an app that will pay you for downloading apps and testing it out, and for watching videos. The money comes from advertisers who pay the app for exposure and ratings.

Part of that income is shared with you. The company will pay you in points for downloading and testing apps and then you can use the points you earned and redeem them for rewards or cash which will you will get via PayPal.

There are a lot of apps that you can download in AppRedeem to test and rate There are also a lot of videos, belonging in different categories, for you to watch to earn points.

You just need to download the app and register, which is free, to become a member and start earning points. AppRedeem is available for both iOS and Android devices.

Who Uses AppRedeem?

Registering won’t be a problem, as you will just need to have an email address, a username, and a password. Then you’re all set to start earning points at AppRedeem.

What is Good about AppRedeem

Now that we have an idea of what AppRedeem is and how it works, it is time to talk about the things that I liked about the app.

AppRedeem provides the option of withdrawing in cash, which is a huge thing. I always believe that a lot of people would still prefer to be paid in cash instead of a gift cards. So with AppRedeem offering that, it’s a big plus for you, especially if you’re looking to make money online and not earn gift cards.

The points needed to cash out are low, as you will only need to reach 500 points in order to be able to cash out $0.5. Sure it is not much, but with this small points requirement for cashing out, it won’t be hard for you to earn money.

It is easy to join and it is free to do so. You don’t have to worry about tedious signing process or membership fee to be a member of AppRedeem.

What is Bad about AppRedeem

Of course, not everything is good and pretty with AppRedeem, as there are a lot of things that I didn’t really like about the app.

Probably one of my main concerns with AppRedeem is that it seems as though the owners are already in the process of shutting down the app. It was acquired by the company Perk in 2015 but it seems like they have no intention of continuing it. The app is still functioning but there’s actually no guarantee it will stay that way.

The income potential is low. Even if the cash out is low, the payout is still low, so you can’t expect to make a lot of money with the AppRedeem app.

The app doesn’t seem to be available in all countries.

Is AppRedeem Legit or a Scam?

From what I saw, AppRedeem is not a scam but a legitimate opportunity. It has been in business since 2010, so you know it isn’t just an app that will shut down all of a sudden.

The potential problem with AppRedeem’s legitimacy is its new ownership.

AppRedeem has also created two more earning opportunities AppTrailer and OfferRewards.

AppTrailer is very similar to AppRedeem, so this could be like a replacement app, while OfferRewards will basically pay you to complete offers.

Is AppRedeem to be Recommended?

From what I recently researched about the app, it is hard to recommend AppRedeem to anyone at this moment. The new owners, Perk, don’t seem intent on keeping the app operational or at least making it function properly.

A lot of the people who have used the app recently are complaining about the confusing way to redeem their points.

There seems to be a need to convert AppRedeem points to Perks points, but people are confused about how to do it.

So with the messy settings and configurations that AppRedeem is currently experiencing, I am not recommending this app to anyone.

There are a lot of other apps out there who are not experiencing any issues with ownership or how it is currently functioning. It is better to look into those opportunities instead of trying out the AppRedeem app.
