Survey sites are considered as one of the most common money-making opportunities you will find online. There are a lot of sites out there that are offering an opportunity to make money by answering surveys.
The problem is that not all of these sites are legit, as a lot of them turn out to be scams and a big waste of your time. So the challenge would be to identify which of them are legit and which pays decently.
One survey site that we will be looking at in this review is called the eSurveySeeker. This site is claiming to provide an opportunity to make money by sharing your opinion.
The site is also saying that you can earn up to $25 per completed survey. Is this opportunity really legitimate or is it just another scam?

eSurveySeeker is Not Really a Survey Site that Will Pay You and is Likely a Scam
eSurveySeeker claims to be a website that offers you an opportunity to make money by completing surveys, participating in different studies like focus groups discussions, and even becoming a mystery shopper.
The company says that you will be paid for participating and completing the different opportunities being offered. Now, this may all sound like your typical survey site, it’s actually not.
eSurveySeeker is not actually a survey site, as it doesn’t really have any surveys to offer. It doesn’t provide any of the other earning opportunities they are claiming you can get by becoming a member.
They are basically a survey funnel, as what the site does offer is just recommendations to several sites that are offering the things they claim to offer.
These sites have their own registrations, which mean you will need to sign up there and become a member.
This basically rendered eSurveySeeker useless, but they claim that you will be able to register to these sites for free by being part of the eSurveySeeker community.
The amount of money they claim you can earn is dependent on the kind of study you will be participating in. But as mentioned, the site doesn’t really offer any of these studies.
I’ll discuss these things in more detail, as we progress further in this review about this supposed survey site.
Who Uses eSurveySeeker?
From the looks of it, eSurveySeeker is designed to be used by people who are looking for ways to make money online.
It is also designed for the owner/s of the website, as it will give them your name and email address, as well as possible earnings from referral or affiliate programs from the sites they are recommending.
The site has a signup page, which will make you think that they are a legit survey site that is offering opportunities to participate in studies to make money.
But in reality, they are just using the site to get your personal information and your email. The surveys and other study opportunities all come from different providers.
The site itself is just a website. Now, you might think that there’s nothing wrong with that, but it’s a problem because eSurveySeeker made the site appear like they are a survey site.
It is complete with FAQs, Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and more. In the next section, I’ll be discussing in more detail how much money the site claims that you can earn here.
I’ll also be discussing why signing up with them might pose a problem for you.
How Do You Make Money with eSurveySeeker?
eSurveySeeker offers various opportunities to make money. You can earn by answering surveys, participating in focus group discussions, being a mystery shopper, or applying for online jobs.
Each opportunity allows you to earn in various amounts, depending on several factors. For surveys, you can earn as low as $1 to as high as $25 per survey.
Participating in focus group discussions can earn you as low as $30 to as high as $100 while being a mystery shopper can earn you about $10 to $50 an hour.
Finally, the site will also offer online jobs that are handpicked by their team and it can earn you $10 to more than $150.
From the looks of it, it seems like the site offers a nice way for you to make some money. There are various opportunities to earn and all of them pay well.
What’s more, becoming a member of eSurveySeeker is easy and free to do so. But as mentioned above, all of these opportunities to make money are not really being offered by the website.
These things all come from other survey sites that eSurveySeeker is promoting. This means you will need to register separately to these sites in order to participate.
The company claims that it is not free to join them, but by being part of the eSurveySeeker community, you can sign up for free since the company is the one that paid for the membership.
Now if you are not new to the online money-making industry, you know that what eSurveySeeker claims is not really true.
There are actually a lot of market research companies out there that offer opportunities to make money without the need to pay anything when you register.
My guess is that these 3rd party providers have referral or affiliate programs that the eSurveySeeker owner/s are part of and they are using the site to make money out of it.
It won’t usually be a problem, but the fact that the site claims to be some sort of survey site is my issue. If you just want people to sign up for your affiliate or referral links, why not just say so?
That would be better instead of masquerading as a survey site that offers people ways to make money online when in reality they can’t really offer that.
Makes you think and wonder why the owner/s would need to do this, is it because a lot of these sites are just scams? Who knows, but it would definitely be hard to trust this website.
What I Liked about eSurveySeeker
Now that we know more about eSurveySeeker and what it is offering, it’s time to see if there are things to like about the opportunity.
- Honestly, there’s really nothing to like about eSurveySeeker, considering there’s really no need for this site. They don’t offer anything of value nor is there really a need for you to even sign up to them. Besides, almost all of the legit survey sites out there are free to sign up to anyway, so this site’s claim that you can only sign up for free in the survey sites they recommend by being part of the eSurveySeekr community is not really enticing.
What I Didn’t Like about eSurveySeeker
When it comes to the things that I didn’t like, there are actually a lot of them, but I’ll only discuss the most important ones.
- The first thing that I didn’t like with eSurveySeeker is that they are positioning themselves as a survey site that offers real surveys for you to participate in. But in reality, they don’t really have any sort of survey available. What they do have are sites that they are recommending their members to join, so they’re not really a survey site.
- I’m also not a big fan of the lies that eSurveySeeker is claiming, especially when it comes to how much money you can likely earn. Though there is a big possibility that the amount they mentioned are the amounts that you can possibly earn when you sign up for the programs they are recommending, the fact that it is coming from them and not from the site they recommend is still a bit disturbing. The site claims that this is what you can possibly earn with them when in reality it’s not really eSurveySeeker that is providing these earnings.
- Speaking of recommended sites, a lot of the links that they have don’t really lead to the recommended program that you should be signing up in. A lot of them are broken and just leads to advertisements and other websites. It’s either some of these programs have already shut down, or they don’t really exist.
Is eSurveySeeker to be Recommended?
Now that we know more what eSurveySeeker offes I can say that it is an opportunity that I don’t really recommend.
There are a lot of reasons why I don’t recommend this opportunity, but the main reason is that it is technically a scam. No, it’s not going to require you to pay anything nor will it avoid paying you for completed work.
I consider eSurveySeeker a scam because it is technically lying to you about what it really is. If you look at their website, you would think they are a survey site that will offer you opportunities to make money.
But that’s not what it does, as the site is a survey funnel that just recommends several sites that can offer you ways to make money by participating in market research studies.
Now, this normally wouldn’t be a problem, but eSurveySeeker tries to position itself as a website that offers these opportunities instead of just saying they’re a site that recommends these opportunities.
This means there’s really no need for you to even be a member of eSurveySeeker. They’re just gathering your information and probably even earning from affiliate or referral programs.
This is why I don’t recommend this site, as it’s never really a good sign when a website is deceiving about what they really are.
