What is this product?

It’s a training website that shows would be affiliate marketers how to make money online with a WordPress website.

I was first introduced to Forever Affiliate a couple of years ago, and whilst it was a big hit back then, the information is, well, a little out of date now. Much like most IM products including the famous Google Sniper product.

Actually if I was to choose between the two then I would go for Forever Affiliate any day of the week.

Forever Affiliate (FA) not only shows you how to create mini niche websites based around profitable keyword phrases, but also authority websites and then make money from them.

When I started the training, I was really impressed with the course, given I hadn’t tried any other course of it’s type before. Since then I have tried some not so good products and some better courses and actually my favorite can be found here.

I guess the fact that I have tried other courses is testiment that FA just didn’t cut-the-mustard. But listen FA does have it’s good points.

He has some very good insights to keyword research that I have never heard mentioned anywhere else before. It’s not so much about the mechanics of finding profitable keywords, (although he does show you how to do that), but more how to view them as assets in your online business.

Some Things To Be Aware Of

Okay, so lets cut to the chase. As I mentioned before, it becomes telling when you have to continue to purchase other products in order to get the information that is lacking in another, so the fact that I had to do this suggests there are a few holes in the system.

In my opinion, I believe FA is an incomplete training system, simply because the the information is out of date and the there is no on going support.

Whilst I liked the information Andrew provided, after I got into the course, I found that I needed further clarification on some points, and also some sort of support where I could get an answer from someone quickly, who knew what they were talking about.

The fact that everyone has different learning styles and life experiences, it is difficult to learn everything you need to from just reading text or watching a video.

One concept that might be easy for one person to understand could be difficult for another, which is why you need some type of forum, where you can interact in a “chat style” interface.

But hey, it really depends on where you are in terms of your understanding of affiliate marketing, as to whether the information would be of use to you.

A more advanced affiliate might benefit from the information a great deal, where as newbies would struggle pieces all the concepts together.

Granted, it is only a one time payment of $97, but what use is the product if you get stuck and have no one to help you get unstuck.

What I Liked

  • I liked the way Andrew was able to articulate various concepts in the training. A very systematic approach.
  • I liked the video lessons. They were clear and to the point. He does go into a lot of detail in area’s that he needs to and the information that he delivers is pretty sound throughout the course, except for the backlinking strategies. But I’ll get into that a little later on in the review.
  • One piece of advice has always stuck with me in Andrews course relating to keyword research and it will continue to serve me well in the future.
  • $97 is a fairly reasonable price to pay for the information, albeit some of it might be out of date now and other bits may get you penalized in the search engines, haha.

What I Didn’t Like

The biggest problem I saw with his course was the backlinking strategy he employed, and also his training program was incomplete, (which I’ll elaborate on in a minute).

Given the recent updates in Google a lot of the lessons on backlinking in Andrews course will get your website penalized these days. Which renders this part of his course void.

Now I don’t know if Andrew has changed the course to reflect the latest Google updates, but something to keep in mind. So if you do decide to purchase his course, just move with caution.

Whilst I have been a big fan of using the backlinking strategy in his course in the past, the recent changes in Google, has focused me to question the validity of the strategy long term.

The reason why people will continue to ultilize this backlinking strategy is because it just works. But the real question is – for how long.

These are some things you need to keep in mind when evaluating whether you should employ the same tack ticks in your business.

It has taken me a while to become a believer, but when I see websites that have been built around his strategy tank in the search engines, left and right, then it’s time to adopt a new strategy. The main strategy to gain high rankings in the search engines was to use private blog networks.

The reason why I mention this, is because one of the main issues people face online is ranking in the search engines. And quick frankly, if your site doesn’t rank in the search engines then you won’t get any visitors to your website.

How is his course incomplete?

Okay, so the information that he delivers is great, however, that’s where it ends. There’s no way to have a continuing mentoring relationship with him, unless you optin for his coaching course ($297) which even then I believe he’d be stretched to provide enough value to his members.

My Final Thoughts

Even though his program might be out of date, he still has some decent information that I believe is worth the price, but if you don’t know what information is going to get you penalized then I would stay away from it.
