Just like many other content mill websites, FreelancerCareers, offers a variety of different topics to write about. And like many, you as the writer, can pick and choose what topic you want to write about.
FreelancerCareers is not new to the content mill marketplace and has been operating for just under two decades, which, I think speaks volumes in terms of them being able to successfully manage both the expectations of their clients and their Freelance writers.
This would also lead me to assume that they have “ironed” out any “teething problems” that other “newer” content mills experience with client-writer relationships.
Unlike other content mills, one of the application criteria is to be a University graduate or have a Bachelors Degree, which, I feel, is kind of a drag, because it’ll discount a lot of great freelance writers.
Having said that, it means less competition for those writers who have a Degree, less competition, potentially, means more work for you, so, it could be a good way to make extra money as a freelance writer.

I guess, the slight point of difference between the writers of FreelancerCareers and other typical content mills is that they’re all university graduates with a degree and expertise in an academic field.
Therefore, I’d imagine that the client FreelancerCareers attracts, are website owners looking for content that has depth, substance and expertise in a academic field.
They take writers from all over the world, so long as you have an excellent grasp of the English language, good grammar, writing and appropriate tools like a computer or laptop and access to the Internet.
How To Apply For FreelancerCareers
The sign up process looks to be very intuitive and a case of just following the prompts in the sign up form.
As mentioned, you are required to have graduated from university or have at least a Bachelors degree.
They do reiterate that you answer all of the questions truthfully, and if, for some reason you fail to do so, your application will be declined.
You will have to complete a 60 minute timed test where you will be required to write an assignment on a given topic following a set of specific instructions.
It’s not unusual for a content mill to ask you to jump through a few “hoops” by completing a series of short grammar and writing tests, but I have never seen a timed test before, so that was interesting.
Then finally, fill out your professional details and submit them for review.

For obvious reasons you will need to have a computer or laptop to complete work, and you will also need to have Microsoft Word installed on your computer, because all writing assignments must be delivered as a Word document or as pptx file in some cases.

They will charge you a penalty fee if your writing assignment is delivered late, and in a worst case scenario, your name will be removed from their database.
Since there is a huge emphasis on delivery times, you will need to be able to manage your workflow effectively, which in some cases might mean that you should only accept a single writing assignment at a time.
The company pays every two weeks or at the end of each month.
The company uses 3 different methods to pay their writers including, Skrill, Paypal and Wire Transfer.
What Are Others Saying About FreelancerCareers?
From what I have seen on the Internet while reviewing this website, the feedback in general seems to be quite positive.
I have seen a lot of people talking about how they can get work whenever they want and that they pay on time.
There is nothing special I can brag about. This freelancing platform is quite simple, but it’s effective and that’s all I need. I can easily get orders whenever I need them, and the pay comes on time. I don’t make a fortune because I don’t write full time, but it’s enough to cover my nights out.

Do I Recommend FreelancerCareers?
From my research, FreelancerCareers appears to be a good content mill company to work for as a freelance writer if you’re a university graduate or have a Bachelors degree.
It is difficult to really ascertain how much you could earn with FreelancerCareers because your rate is dependent on a number of factors, including, how many writing assignments you have completed, what standard they were completed to, whether it was delivered on time, number of words and educational level.
But what I can gather from people who have worked for FreelancerCareers, they seem to be generally happy with how much the get paid.
Yes, you will have to jump through a few hoops and complete grammar and writing tests (like many other content mills) but it might be worth it.
Having said that, I feel that if you know how to write effectively, then you’ll never go hungry.
Think about why these website owners are paying you to write for them.
They’re only able to pay you, because they’re getting paid in one way or another via the content you produce.
You just need to learn what content to produce and start a website yourself and get paid.
