Now, one company already offering a business opportunity related to Marijuana is Kannaway. It is a multilevel marketing (MLM) company that offers products containing Marijuana.
It also offers an opportunity to make money through its MLM business model, allowing you to earn selling the products and recruiting people.
It’s hard to tell how much you can really earn here since the earning potential is dependent on a lot of different factors.
But is Kannaway really a legit company that allows you to make money selling Marijuana products? Or is it just a scam that you should avoid?

Kannaway is A Legit Company That Offers an Opportunity to Make Money Selling Marijuana Products
Kannaway is a company that offers products that are infused with Marijuana ingredients, particularly Hemp and cannabidiol (CBD).
Founded in 2014, the company started offering health-related products and using the MLM structure to promote the products.
The Medical Marijuana, Inc. company bought it in 2015, and that is also the year it began offering a variety of products that uses hemp and CBD as an ingredient.
Kannaway also offers an opportunity to make money promoting and selling these Marijuana products. Based on what I’ve seen so far, I can say that the opportunity offered is legitimate.
The company does offer cannabis-based products and they’re known to be good quality. Also you can really make money with their MLM opportunity, provided you really work hard at it.
Of course, this doesn’t mean that there aren’t any issues or problems with this opportunity, as there are also several issues and complaints about Kannaway.
Chief among these issues is that the company’s products are a bit expensive. There are also still some legal hurdles, despite Marijuana being made legal in a lot of countries.
Another issue is that the income potential of this opportunity is actually very low. The company is also not detailed about the kind of cannabis plant that the CBD is extracted from.
There are also issues about the confusing compensation plan of the company.
I’ll discuss these issues in more detail as we progress further in this review of Kannaway.
Who Uses Kannaway?
Kannaway is designed for two types of people with one being those who are looking for products that contain Marijuana. The other types are those looking for opportunities to make some money on the side.
If you ae looking for products containing cannabis, the company offer a lot of different products that contain hemp and CBD. There’s oil, capsules, and much more.
If you’re looking for opportunities to make money on the side, the company uses the MLM model to help promote and sell their products.
This means that as a distributor of Kannaway, you get to earn money selling the product and recruiting people to be a distributor as well. You just need to be a member, which comes with a certain fee.
In the next section, I’ll discuss in more detail how this opportunity works, the cost of joining, and the products being offered.
How Does Kannaway Work?
Kannaway is an MLM company that started with promoting and selling health-related products when it launched in 2014.
But following its acquisition by Medical Marijuana, Inc. in 2015, the company started offering products that contain hemp and CBD. This became the primary products that they are selling.
Now, the company has a lot of different products to choose from but their most notable ones are Pure CBD Premium Capsules, Premium Hemp Oil Caps, Kannaway Chocolate Energy Chews, and Kannaway Salve. They also offer Kannaway Pure CBD, Premium Hemp Oil Oral Applicator, and much more.
With regards to how effective the product is, the reviews have mostly been positive. Of course, it will still greatly depend on how your body will react to cannabis-infused products.
It’s also important to note that purchasing Kannaway’s products is legal in the U.S. But if you live outside the U.S., you might want to do a check first before ordering.
Now, in order to make money, you need to become a distributor or what they call a Brand Ambassador. The cost of doing that is $54.98 and this amount is a yearly fee that you’ll need to pay when you become a member.
The fee will come with replicated Kannaway website, the Kannaway Secure Back Office, training and support tools, and administrative support.
Now, the company offers several ways for you to make money from them as an ambassador and the first one is through retail commissions.
This is where you can pocket the difference between the wholesale and retail price as well as earn a direct sales commission. The company also has a FastStart bonus, where you can earn 3 times the direct sales commission.
In order to qualify, you’ll need to achieve your personal volume (PV) requirement and your group volume (GV) requirement. You need to achieve these requirements within 30 days.
There’s also the Direct Sales Commission Check Match, Team Override Commissions, RANK INFINITY Commissions, Lifestyle Commissions, and Rank Advancement Commissions.
Kannaway also has the Minimum Income Guarantee where they guarantee a certain amount per month depending on your rank. If the commissions you earned is less than the guarantee, they’ll shoulder the difference.
You just need to qualify to take advantage of this option. Now, it is important to know that Kannaway will require minimum PV and GV a month, depending on your rank, in order for you to qualify for bonus and commissions.

What Are People Saying about Kannaway?
The majority of people who have tried Kannaways products found them beneficial. Of course, some people experienced otherwise, but the effects of products like these are really dependent on how your body reacts.
This is why it’s always advised to consult your doctor first before taking any supplements or vitamins.
Of course as with most opportunities, there are also issues and complaints.
One of the common issues I see is that the company’s products are a bit expensive. This is a big problem, especially as a lot of similar products available on the market are selling at a cheaper price.
Not only will it make it hard for you to sell the products, but it also means you’ll have to spend a lot of money just to ensure that you qualify for certain commissions and bonuses.
Another issue is the fact that there are still some grey areas with regards to the use of products that contain cannabis
You might experience legal problems with your local area so it’s best to do some research with regards to the legality of using cannabis in your area and what the restrictions are.
There are also some people who pointed out that Kannaway is not transparent about what kind of cannabis plant the company extracts the CBD or hemp from.
This is important because there are a lot of different cannabis strains and some of the strains are more suited for medicinal purposes. Knowing what strain was used will help you determine how effective and beneficial the products will be.
There’s also issue with the company’s compensation plan, which is confusing and hard to understand.
It is so detailed that it becomes hard to know what commissions and bonuses you can expect and how to qualify for them.
The last issue with this opportunity is the fact that the income potential is low. As the compensation plan relies mostly on selling the companys products, you and your team will have to sell a lot of products in order to make money.
Earning a decent amount here won’t be easy to do. Plus, you’re already at a disadvantage since you have to spend a certain amount of money monthly in order to qualify for certain commissions.
This means you really have to sell a lot just to cover for the expense of keeping your account qualified.
What I Like about Kannaway
Now that we know what Kannaway is and what they are able to bring to the table, it’s time to discuss what I like about this opportunity.
- One of the first things that I like about Kannaway is that they are offering a unique set of products. It’s not every day you see an MLM company sell products that have cannabis in it. So it’s already a big plus that they’re offering such products.
- I also like that the startup and renewal costs of Kannaway are not that high. The annual membership fee is about $55 (round it off to $60), which is not really that high. It’s like you’re only paying $5 a month for your membership to the company.
What I Dislike about Kannaway
Of course, not everything about Kannaway is good and dandy, as there are also several things about this opportunity I don’t really like.
- One of the things that I don’t like about Kannaway is the fact that the products they are offering are expensive. Sure, a lot of people would say that the company’s products are beneficial and effective, but they’re still a bit pricey. If you do a search, you can see that there are several similar products that are available at a cheaper price.
- I also don’t like that Kannaway’s compensation plan is confusing and hard to understand. It seems you will really need a distributor to explain it properly and how you can make money with this opportunity. There are just too many intersecting and confusing details and information.
- I’m also not a fan of the low-income potential of Kannaway. Not only will it be hard to sell the products because of its high price, but your income potential is basically determined on how many products you sell. The company’s commissions and bonuses focus more on product sales. So unless you are good at selling or motivating your team to sell, earning a lot of money here is going to be hard.
Do I Recommend Kannaway?
After learning more about Kannaway and what it can really offer, I would say that it is an opportunity that I don’t really recommend.
The low-income potential and expensive products are the main reasons I don’t recommend this company.
The combination of these two shows that the money you can possibly earn here won’t be worth the time, effort, and money you’ll spend trying to succeed in this opportunity.
There are a lot of better opportunities out there to make money, opportunities that won’t be as hard and time-consuming as this one.
As for the products, yes, they are good. But there are cheaper alternatives available in the market. I don’t really see the point in spending a lot of money on a product you can find cheaper elsewhere that has similar quality.
