One of the oldest PTC sites you will find today is Neobux. The site has been paying people to view ads for a decade now, and there doesn’t seem to be any sign it’s stopping anytime soon.
Like any PTC sites, though, don’t expect to earn a lot, as you will likely earn less than a dollar a day with this website. But is this PTC site really legit or is it just a scam and a waste of your time?

Neobux is a Legitimate PTC Site that Really Pays
Neobux was launched in 2008, which makes it one of the oldest existing PTC sites on the internet today. This decade-old site can also be considered as one of the pioneers in the industry.
Since this site has been around this long, you might think that it has to be a legitimate opportunity to earn money online. Well, it is, Neobux is actually one of the rare PTC sites that pay its members regularly.
You will just need to reach the minimum cash out amount to be able to withdraw your money, which the site pays instantly on your chosen processor.
Though this site is legitimate and has been around for a while, you can’t really expect to earn a lot of money here. Like any other PTC site, Neobux doesn’t really provide a great opportunity to make decent money.
You are likely to earn about $0.50 a day with this website unless you are able to refer a lot of people to join or rent referrals from the site itself.
Of course, renting referrals in PTC sites never really pay off, and as we learn more about what this PTC site offers, I’ll discuss why relying on referrals really doesn’t provide much difference.
Who Uses the Neobux Website?
The Neobux PTC site is designed to be used by two groups of people, with one being the advertisers looking for cheap ways to promote their website to a lot of traffic.
The other group are people like you who are looking for legitimate ways to make some money online. For advertisers, the site provides them with an opportunity to reach large amounts of traffic at a very affordable price.
PTC sites don’t usually charge a lot for advertisers to promote their ads on the website and the reason for this is that the traffic coming from PTC sites are usually low quality.
The traffic coming from PTC sites are basically people like you who are looking to make some money. The site will share a small portion of the revenue they get from advertisers in order for you to view the ad.
You will basically be paid to view advertisers ads for about 30 seconds. Once you reach the minimum cash out requirement, you can withdraw your money to your payment processor.
If you look at it closely, you’re not really looking at the ads because you are interested in them, you just look at them because you are getting paid.
You’re not really paying attention to the message or what the ad is offering, as you’re just waiting for the timer to run out to earn your money and move on to the next ad.
To be a member, you just need to register at Neobux, which is easy and free to do so. It’s available worldwide.
How Do You Earn Money with Neobux?
Neobux is just like any other PTC site, where it will pay you for viewing the ads found on the website. The money will be sent to your Neobux account and you can withdraw it once you reach the minimum withdrawal amount.
The amount of money you can earn per click will vary on the ad that you are viewing. The lowest is $0.001 per click, while the highest is $0.015.
Like any PTC site, you will need to view the ad for about 30 seconds or less, depending on the ad and the money you will earn.
What you will usually see in your account are Fixed ads, which are worth $0.001 per click but you will only need to view them for about 10 seconds.
The site allows you to view 12 Fixed ads daily, and they will reset every 24 hours. So that’s basically $0.012 earnings for a day for viewing Fixed ads.
Unlike other PTC sites, Neobux doesn’t require you to answer any captcha at the end of the ad. Once the timer runs out, your ad is automatically validated and you can close the ad and move on to the next.
However, you will need to click a red dot first before the site takes you to the ad that you will view to earn money.
Aside from clicking ads, Neobux also offers other ways to earn money. You can complete offers, answer surveys, or take on mini jobs. Each task will offer different monetary rewards depending on the task and task provider.
The site even has games that you can play, which can earn you $0.001 per game session. You will just need to play any of the game for at least 2 minutes to earn money.
You are allowed to play up to 250 game sessions per 24 hours and you will need to either win or lose in the game and click “Continue” or “Submit Score” to verify that you really played.
There’s also the AdPrize, where you have a chance to win prizes, like more cash, for viewing certain advertisements. Of course, there’s no guarantee you will win here.
But like any PTC sites, the best way to earn more money is through referrals. You can have direct referrals or rent referrals from the site itself.
You get to earn at least $0.0005 from direct referrals clicks and $0.005 from rented referrals clicks of Fixed ads. If your direct referral completes offers, you get a percentage as well.
You will get 20% for every earning from Coin offers and 12% from their earnings from mini job offers. Renting referrals will cost you $0.20 per month for each referral. You can rent up to 250 referrals for this price.
If you want to rent more, you will need to pay more as referral 251 to 500 will cost you $0.21 per month. The price will keep on rising as you rent more referrals.
If you want to earn more, you can also become a paid member to earn more from clicks and referrals clicks.
Neobux has 4 account upgrades available. But before you can upgrade your account, you will first need to meet certain requirements.
The requirements are basically the number of clicks you have already completed and the length of your membership. Gold membership is the cheapest, which cost $90 a year.
But to upgrade, your account needs to be 15 days old and you have already clicked 50 advertisements. Once you’ve upgraded to Gold, you will need to meet another requirement to upgrade to the next level and so on.
The site has 6 upgrade levels, with the Ultimate being the highest paid membership account. It costs $890 a year.
The minimum requirement to withdraw your money via Skrill or Neteller is $2 at the start. After that, it will increase by $1, until it reaches the maximum of $10.
As you can see above, relying on clicking ads will not really make you a lot of money, and upgrading your account or renting referrals will cost you money and there’s no guarantee you will earn more from it.
However, there are a lot of people who are saying they are earning decent money from Neobux following certain strategies.
One is taking advantage of the different offers the site has to earn more money. Another way is what they call the strategy of renting referrals, which requires a lot of planning and strategizing.
What is Good about Neobux
Now that we know more about Neobux, it’s time to discuss what is good about the opportunity.
- The first thing that I liked is that this PTC site offers more ways for you to make some money other than just clicking ads. In this way, you’ll be able to earn money faster instead of just relying on clicking ads.
- Another thing that I liked about Neobux is that the earnings you can get from clicking ads are a bit higher compared to other PTC sites. The minimum earning here is $0.001, while on the other site it’s even lower than that.
- It’s also good that Neobux immediately pays you via your chosen payment processor after requesting for cash out. Once you reach the minimum, you can withdraw your money and the site will pay immediately.
What is Bad about Neobux
Of course, there are also things that I didn’t like about the site, which I’ll be discussing here.
- The first thing I didn’t like about Neobux is that the earning potential of the site is not that high unless you will be able to get referrals and upgrade your account to a paid membership. This means that you will need to spend some money before you can earn decent money. There’s nothing wrong with spending money, you just need to be sure that you can earn it back so you won’t end up losing your money.
- I also didn’t like that Neobux’s minimum withdrawal is $10, which means it will take a while to get your money unless you will be getting referrals and upgrading your account.
- It’s also unfortunate that Neobux removed the option to withdraw via PayPal or Payza, which means you will need to own a Skrill or Neteller account to be able to withdraw from this PTC site.
Do I Recommend Neobux?
Based on what I’ve learned about Neobux, I would say that it is a site worth checking out. I’m not recommending it outright as a good site for you, but it’s something that you can see for yourself.
The reason I don’t recommend it outright is that I don’t see PTC sites as a viable option to make money online. The earning potential of PTC sites is really low and Neobux is no exception to that.
Even with all of the other opportunities to earn, you won’t really get to earn more than a couple of dollars a day with this site.
The only way to earn big here is if you have thousands of active referrals under you. As for why I say you can still check it out, it’s because there are a lot of people who are claiming to make good money with it.
They are able to do this with the help of a strategy, which revolves around trying to get as many rented referrals as possible.
I’m not really sure if that strategy will work, but with a lot of people saying it worked for them, it’s something that’s worth checking out.
