If you’re thinking about making money using the Postloop website, then I would think twice, because the website is broken.
When I review websites, there’s usually a bit of hype and marketing BS that I have to wade through in order to gain real insight into that business.
And as a result, I have come to expect less of a business when I get into the nuts and bolts of my review.
However, when reviewing Postloop, I didn’t expect the bar to be even less than that.
I found that there were a lot of broken links on the website, and some of the core software programs that were mandatory for website owner to download, were unavailable.
In my research, I discovered that the website had shutdown for a little while back in November 2016, and re-purchased in April 2017.
Reading other reviews would suggest that Postloop is a good way to make money online, but, 1) I just can’t see how that is possible in it’s current form and 2) many of these reviews are out dated.
Not sure what happened to Postloop between then and now (August 2019), but, sumthin ain’t right.
What this means is that a website owners, have no way of receiving comments for their websites and no way for people being able to do the work.
This means YOU as a content creators will have NO way of getting paid.

What is Postloop?
Postloop is a website that allows website owners to get comments and posts written for them in order to generate engagement and traffic to their websites.
The website does this by finding writers to make these comments on these website owners websites in exchange for money.
They use a point and a rating system for each writer based on the quality of their comments and feedback from the website owner.
The higher your rating, the more you will earn with each point.
Who uses Postloop?
There are two groups of people who use Postloop.
The first group are website and forum owners. They join Postloop to get content written for their website, whether that be a forum or blog.
As website owners, they know that content in the form of forum posts, or blog comments can attract more discussion on their websites, which then leads to more engagement and ultimately more traffic to their websites.
The second group are the content writers, or the people who make money as a result of leaving these comments in forums and blogs.
Their job is to write compelling comments that encourages discussion in exchange for points (which you can convert into money).
How To Join Postloop
As with most websites I review, the sign up process if fairly intuitive and consists of the usual first name, last name, username, email address, password and checking the term & conditions box and clicking on the sign up button.
When I signed up, I mistakenly forgot to hit the “I’m not a robot” check box and after I clicked on the “Sign up” button, I was taken to a blank page.
Yep … just blank.
I waited to see what would happen, but after a minute or two – nothing.
This was kinda weird, and didn’t really fill me with confidence, but hey, these technical blips happen from time to time, so I was like, never mind, let’s just try again.
So this time I made sure I checked the “I’m not a robot” box, and after clicking on the sign up button, I gained entry.
No big deal – right?
So why am I telling you this?
Well, because this was the beginning of a series of errors I experienced with Postloop.
I’ll get into that in a minute, but first let’s talk about how Postloop is supposed to work.
How Does Postloop Work?
In order for you to start making money with Postloop, you have to pass an English and grammar test. This is to ensure they’re happy with the standard and quality of your comments.
These sorts of tests are standard practice among content providers, and do vary in length and difficulty, depending on the standards set by each provider.
However, Postloop’s test is nothing too fancy, given the nature of comments, and therefore only requires you to submit 10 posts to the Postloop portal, which is basically Postloop’s own forum.
These 10 posts are reviewed by staff for quality, and if approved, you will be allowed to become a writer for Postloop.
If not successful on your first go, they may give you an opportunity to post another 10 posts for review again, and if your posts don’t meet the standard, then they won’t let you participate in the program and your account will close immediately.
Writers from all countries are accepted, so long as you 1) are able to pass the test and 2) have access to a Paypal account as this is the only way they can pay you out.
How Do You Make Money With Postloop?
Once you have passed the posting test, you will be allowed to join different websites and start working.
The websites you will be allowed to post on will vary and is largely determined by your rating, which at the beginning will be 0.
As you start to post to various websites, your rating will increase based on the quality of your comments and you will also earn points.
On average you will earn around $0.08 cents per comment and most websites will limit your comments to 10 per day, however, others will allow more, but, you will need to make sure you spread your comments out throughout the day and not all at one time.
How The Point System Works
For a writer your aim is to accumulate as many points as you can from the sites available to you.
Postloop has an algorithm of sorts, that calculates the value of each point based on the comment you leave, the action you take, and when you take that action.
For example, writers are rewarded for taking certain actions, like posting comments to forums over time, instead of posting comments all at once.
How The Rating System Works
Rating is on a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best) and can only be given by a forum owner to their subscribers. A Postloop user’s rating should be a good representation of how good the posts are that they are making in Postloop forums. Ratings do expire over time, so a user’s current “average” rating is not necessarily the average of all ratings that user has ever received.
The importance of the rating system is that the higher you rate you will pick up more bonus points per post as a result.

| Rating of 5: | 1.00 bonus point per post |
Furthermore, in order to convert your Postloop points to cash via PayPal, you must have a rating that is better than the average rating for all Postloop users. The current average rating for all Postloop users is 3.71.
Referral program
Postloop has a referral program that can help you to make money by referring others to the program. You will earn 20% of their earnings for the lifetime of their membership.
Alternative To Postloop
There are other types of websites like Postloop, but I feel that they don’t appear to comprise of all the features Postloop offers to both forum owners and blog owners.
How Are You Paid?
In order for you to get paid, you will need to have three things in place.
1) Your account will need to have a balance of $5 or more in order to request payment.
2) You must have a Paypal account in order for you to get paid.
3) You must have a rating higher than 3.71 which was the average at the time of writing this review.
Once you request payment, your points will be removed from your account and your payment request will be reviewed by staff and manually paid out within a 24 hours period.
Any member of the site that lives in the US and earns more than $600 in a year from the site, will be contacted by the site to submit your SSN. The site is required by law to report your earning over $600.
For Content Creators
As I mentioned earlier, I had regained my confidence with Postloop, when I saw that people were posting to the forum constantly, which made me think that it could still be worthwhile.
So I decided to test the system out for myself as a website owner and deposited $11 to buy 100 points.
And whilst, I was willing to participate in the program to get comments on one of my sites, I couldn’t actually use them, because the software they required me to download to track the points, was unable to be downloaded from their website.
In fact when I tried to download the plugin for my website, I got an error message.
Furthermore, if you go to where a writer gains access to write content and click on “Write Content”, the website shows this 404 error message.
It was at this point that I once again lost confidence in the Postloop’s system.
I mean – if I’m unable to use their software to get comments then other website owners must be experiencing the same thing.
What this means for you as a writer, is that no blog owner will be able to download the plugin to request comments.
This means you won’t be able to write comments to earn points.
What I Liked about Postloop
- I definitely liked the idea of being able to write small pieces of content and get paid for doing so, however, the system is broken for some reason.
- I liked that you only have to have $5 in your account to be able to request payment.
What I Didn’t Like about Postloop
- I didn’t like the fact that the website was broken and the mandatory plugins were unable to be downloaded.
- I didn’t like that fact that you had to have a 3.71 rating average in order to request payment.
- I didn’t like the fact that they were more than willing to accept new deposits, but had a broken website, that made it impossible to exchange the points for comments.
Do I Recommend Postloop
From reading some of the other Postloop reviews online, it appears that Postloop used to work well for website owners in the past, however, I also found that they closed down in November 2016 for some reason.
And although I was unable to find the specific reason why they had to closed their doors, from what I can tell it looks like Jordan from Ionicware purchased Postloop and then reopened their doors in April 2017.
Who knows what ownership it has gone through since then, but all I know is, whoever has ownership now has a bit of work to do.
Therefore given my personal experience with Postloop, I would NOT recommend them as a good way to earn money for the reasons I mentioned above, which is kinda sad and a little frustating.
Since I was unable to use their system through no fault of my own, I have asked for a refund using their contact page.
I am yet to receive a reply – no surprises there.
