If you’re looking for an easy way for you to make money without having any experience or skills, then Rewards1 could be a website for you.
Before I get any further into this review, I just want to be clear on my stance with GPT (get-paid-to) websites in general and that is – I’m not a big fan of them.
And it’s not because they’re a scam or anything, but mostly because they don’t payout a lot for the amount of time and effort you need to put into them.
Rewards1 is one of the better GPT websites I have reviewed recently, they have been in the GPT game since 2002, making them one of the longer running GPT websites.
However, they do have a number of pros, and cons as you can imagine that my review will soon highlight.
But before we get into that, if you’re interested in an alternate way to make money from home then, you can also check out the step-by-step training that helps me earn over $10,000+ per month.
Now, onto the review.

What is Rewards1?
As mentioned, Rewwards1 is just another GPT website where people can complete offers and surveys in exchange for money.
Large companies pay Rewards1 to find suitable candidates (YOU) to take part in completing various surveys and offers, and once completed, Rewards1 pays a percentage of that payment to you for your participation
A nice little win-win situation.
The website opened back in 2002 making them one of the longer running GPT websites out there.
Who uses Rewards1?
There are two clear groups of people who use Rewards1.
The first group are the companies who commission Rewards1 to find suitable candidates to participate in the offers.
And the other group are people who are willing to participate in completing these offers and surveys – YOU.
How To Join Rewards1
Like many online websites, the sign up process is fairly intuitive and this is no different.
You get three fields you have to complete including your email address, username and password.
Once you’ve entered your details in these fields, then simply click on the Join Now button.
You will need to check you email to activate your account and once you’ve done that you will gain access to the website.
Now you will have access to start earning.
How Does Rewards1 Work?
There are several options for you to make money within the system including completing surveys, polls, offers and inviting people to Rewards1.
Reward1 will pay you a percentage of any offer you complete from one of their sponsors. So the more surveys and offers you complete, the more potential income you can make.
Having said that, for some of the surveys you will need to qualify in order to participate in them. According to their website there is a 20% qualifying rate for surveys, which means you will only qualify for 1 in every 5 surveys you go for.
Yes, this can be somewhat frustrating, especially if you spend the majority of your time trying to qualify for a survey, because you don’t get paid when trying to qualify for a survey.
They use a point system whereby you will be awarded a number of points for completing certain tasks.
The point system is a on a one to one basis. Every point is worth $0.01 cent, so for every point you acquire, you will earn $0.01 cent.
One hundred cents equate to $1.
Easy peasy.
However, the rewards you earn can be enhanced depending on your rank within the system.
The ranks are based on a number of factors of which I have broken down below.
Rookie – rank
When you start with Reward1, you start off as a Rookie and have 0 earnings, referrals and rewards.
Junior – rank
You will gain Junior status when you have earned 500 points, successfully referred 10 people to rewards1 and gained 1 reward.
Senior – rank
You will gain Senior status once you earn 1000 points, successfully referred 100 people and gained 2 rewards.
Veteran – rank
You will gain Veteran status once you earn 4000 points, successfully referred 1000 people and gained 3 rewards.
Elite – rank
You will gain Elite status once you earn 10,000 points, successfully referred 5000 people and gained 4 rewards.
Legend – rank
You will gain Legend status once you earn 25,000 points, successfully referred 10,000 people and gained 5 rewards.
Prime – rank
You will gain Prime status once you earn 150,000 points, successfully referred 30,000 people and gained 5 rewards.
How Do You Make Money With Rewards1?
These GPT websites tend to change the ways in which you can earn money from time to time. So it’s not unusual for there to be a certain type of offer one month and for them to disappear the following month.
GPT sites tend to keep a running track of the offers that make them and their members money and drop those offers that are not working well for the community.
Also, some offers and surveys you have access to is dependent on where you live in the world. Some countries like the United States will get more surveys than some of the smaller countries around like world New Zealand.
So, something to keep in mind when you’re reading this review.
However, the underlining principle of how you earn points is fundamentally the same no matter when you join Rewards1 or when you read this review.
When I joined the website, I found it very easy to start making money with daily polls.
Daily polls
It took me a couple of mouse clicks to earn my first points. Yay – $0.01 cent.
So while you won’t get rich doing that, I could probably click away for at least an hour raking up as many one cent points as I could, but unfortunately, the term daily kinda means you only get access to one or two of these a day.
Offers
You can earn a lot more points for completing offers. The points you collect from each offer varies offer to offer. Some are worth 280 points to complete, while others range from 20 to 40 points.
Offer Partners
This is layout similarly to the above offers, however, none of the points show on these offers until you click on the offer and are redirected to the offers website.
Survey Partners
Each survey that you attempt to sign up to highlights, how long it takes to complete the survey and the number of points assigned to completing that survey. Once you click on the points button, you will be redirected to the partners website to start completing the survey. Once you’ve completed the survey, assuming you’ve qualified to participate, you will be credited with the points.
Daily Surveys
These are pretty much the same concept as the partners surveys in that you will have to qualify for these surveys too. When I reviewed Rewards1, there were no surveys found for my country.
Referring Other
You can also make money with Rewards1 by referring others to the website.
When they sign up with Rewards1 through your unique referral link you will earn 30 to 40% based off of what they earn for as long as they’re a member.
This is typical of GPT websites and can be lucrative if you have new people signing up to the website daily, because you will be able to earn money passively through their efforts.
Win – Games
You also get access to play online games and make money.
Each game allows you to earn more points.
There are four different types of games you can participate in, including Contests, Jackpot4, Tripeaks Solitaire and Battleship.
Some games take longer to complete than others and you will earn points according to the parameters set out in the games.
How Are You Paid?
There are several ways in which you can redeem your Rewards1 points. The first is via giftcards, which as the name suggests, you can exchange your points for giftcard’s of the same equivalents.
Or you can choose to exchange it for cash via Paypal and finally through a custom reward where you can shop at any online vendor using all the points you have in your account.
In order to request payment you have to have a minimum of 500 points.
The site takes between 1 to 5 days to process and send your payment.
However, if you are an Elite member or higher on this site, you’ll receive your payment instantly.
Rewards1 Forum
Rewards1 has a forum available on their website for members to chat, share experiences and ask questions. When I visited the website, I could see some recent activity with community members, which shows me that it is a help asset.
What are people saying about Rewards1?
Whilst, Rewards1 have a testimonial link on their website that shows testimonials from people all over the world earning money with their website, I couldn’t help but think that I needed to find other sources – to, you know, make sure I had the full picture.
So, from reading some of the comments on the Internet, it does appear that, a number of people are also experiencing success with Rewards1.
One person on Reddit commented:
So I haven’t used in years and figured why the heck I haven’t gone back and continued to use it?! So I am!
I’ve made the money by doing the surveys, playing games, watching videos, and a bunch of other options. It clearly shows you how many points you make by doing the task, and in some cases it gives you cash. Some offers are for 20 points, 450 points, $0.90, and today there is a survey for $2.00.
It’s not MASSIVE money but they actually pay out. I have done cash outs and gift cards. I think there are other options for rewards. The site has been around for a long time and are well reviewed (real reviews, not just paid reviews.).
What I Liked about Rewards1
- I like the fact that they make it easy for people to start making money.
- I also like that their point system is based on a 1 to 1 bases i.e. every point is equivalent to $0.01 cents. Whilst, this is a small amount, other GPT have you perform similar task for $0.005 cents.
- I liked that the minimum payout is 500 points or $5, which is quite low for a GPT website. Other websites do offer $5 minimum thresholds too, but some have a higher threshold of $10.
- I like that they make it easy for you to see the amount of time you are likely to spend completing and offer in exchange for points.
- I like that they provide their members with a forum where other members and staff can chat and discuss tips, tricks and experiences within the community.
- I like that they give you more options to redeem your points, including getting paid out in cash via Paypal.
What I Didn’t Like about Rewards1
- The main thing that I didn’t like about Rewards1 is the low payout. Whilst, their payout rate is much higher than other GPT’s, they still don’t payout a lot for the time and effort you put into them. This problem is not confined to Rewards1, but rather GPT websites in general.
- You will only find offers and surveys that are applicable to your country of residence. Therefore if you live in smaller countries, then you won’t get a lot of higher paying surveys to complete, because they won’t be applicable to your country. Whereas if you live in the United States, then you will get much more.
Do I Recommend Rewards1?
As far as GPT websites go, this is probably one of the better ones that I’ve reviewed, primarily because the payout rate is much higher than others.
So in that respect, I would recommend this website as a way to make money as far as GPT websites go.
In general I am not a big fan of GPT websites, because I really don’t like that you have to spend so much time and effort to make money when the are much better ways for you to make money.
In any case, it is still a legit money making opportunity.
Having said that, there is a program that I do recommend you check out. Learn more by reading this review.
As always, if you have any experience both, good or bad with Rewards1, then I would love to hear from you. Just leave a comment below.
