CB Passive Income: What is It and Should You Grab a Copy?

Sharing is caring!

Passive income is the dream for most people, it’s the goal, everyone wants to create a business that runs on auto-pilot and brings in revenue for years to come with very little maintenance.

What’s not to like?

Unfortunately, most of the products that claim to teach you how to create passive income don’t have your best interests in mind.

CB Passive Income is a product, another affiliate marketing training course, that claims to teach members how to set up a online business system that generates money without any maintenance.

It’s supposed to be one of those “Set and Forget” system.

But is that realistic?

Is CB Passive Income a Scam?

What is CB Passive Income?

CB Passive Income was created by Patric Chan, a top Clickbank affiliate, and author of several books (mostly in the internet marketing niche).

One of his books, Wake Up Millionaire, reached the top charts on Amazon a few days after launch.

I haven’t read the book so I can’t verify it’s integrity but, from the looks of it, it seems like another cheaply made internet marketing product without much value.

The CB Passive Income system is based on promoting Clickbank products as an affiliate through a “Secret” webpage.

I’m not sure why these people continue to make it sound like you need a super exclusive webpage to make money as an affiliate marketer, that’s not true at all.

Then, it’s all about automation, auto-responders, follow-up emails, and more.

The Price:

  • $37/a month.
  • or $96 one time fee.

The idea is to create a small website, throw up an opt-in form, collect emails addresses, and then send affiliate products to those email addresses.

It’s not exactly a new or mind-blowing system, this system has been around for a longtime. In other words, it’s another email marketing system.

You will also receive three bonuses:

  • The Digital Cover Creator
  • The Traffic From Google Home Course
  • The Email Assassin Home Course

The idea is to spam affiliate products to email lists, over and over, until you successfully milked those email addresses for all they’re cash!

Can You Make Money With CB Passive Income?

I don’t doubt that it’s possible to make some cash with this system, but the conversion rates will be very low, and, in my opinion, it’s not worth the hassle.

I suggest that you create a business that can stand the tests of time, a full-scale website dedicated to a specific topic, instead of searching for fast money making opportunities.

I’m not a fan of this type of email marketing because it kind of makes you think of your subscribers as random wallets, and not real people.

So, sure, it’s possible to make some cash with this system. But you won’t make much.

What I Didn’t Like:

I don’t like these type of products in general, they’re too focused on fast results, and skip over the whole “provide value” part of online business.

With CB Passive Income, I don’t like how the system is wrapped in a blanket of hype that makes you think that as soon as you purchase the product you will be a millionaire.

It’s actually a little insulting because his whole business plan is exactly the same as all the other email marketing plans out there.

You can find all of the information that’s packed into this product online, for free.

Even a lot of the training videos are exactly the same as YouTube videos on the same topics, some people think that Patric Chan simply downloaded YouTube videos to use in his training material.

Of course, I can’t verify those claims, but it’s something to look into.

You’ll also be told to use a auto-responder and email management service, no, not a well-known company like aWeber or GetResponse, but Patric’s own service.

Naturally, a lot of the features are locked and require a full account to access, it’s more expensive, and the service is lower quality than well-known email management companies!

You should also know that, sadly, most Clickbank products are really low quality and most people are not interested in being bombarded with promotions to junk products day in and day out.

I mean, if you want to use a landing page to build a email list, that’s a great idea, and if you provide real value, then I don’t doubt that you will be able to make a lot of cash from your email list.

Like, for instance, if you offer a unique eBook, one that solves a problem, and benefits your subscriber’s lives in one way or another.

But you won’t learn how to do that with CB Passive Income.

You Have to Work: It’s Not Passive

So can you make passive income with CB Passive Income?

In my opinion, no.

Here’s why:

You have to continuously promote your website on social media, the training tells you to do so.

You could build a list pretty fast if you use paid traffic, but that’s not what the training tells you to do (and that also requires a lot of cash).

It takes time to post links to your secret webpage all over Facebook, and you have to keep doing this otherwise your post will be lost in the news feed.

Not to mention the fact that Facebook can ban your account for spamming!

There are a few other reasons why this system won’t generate passive income, at least, not an impressive amount.

It might bring in a couple of sales here and there, but nothing to write home about.

Final Word:

CB Passive Income is another product that is wrapped in a sugar coated layer of hype and fails to deliver as promised.

I think email marketing is real legitimate way to make cash online, it’s important to build a email list, and you can make a lot of money from subscribers.

But, not if you follow the training in this product!

Even though the course that I follow is not, specifically, a email marketing course, it does touch on those topics, but most of all, it provides you with the knowledge that you need to create your own business.

Once your website is online, you’re in full control, build a list if you want, promote affiliate products if you want, it’s all up to you!

Here’s what I do…
