Panda Research Review – Online Survey Scam

panda research scam reviewOh no – not another get-paid-to-take-surveys website.

If you’ve read any of my other articles that relate to getting to paid to fill out surveys, then you’d know that I’m not a big fan of this form of making money online. Infact it’s probably one of the hardest ways to make money online and many don’t get paid.

What makes me an expert at making money online?

Well, I’d be the first to say that I’m no expert, but I do earn a full-time living marketing other people’s products online. Meaning I don’t have to have a product or even inventory, all I do is place offers in front of people that are looking for them and I get paid over and over again.

You can learn how to do it here – see proof of income.

Anyway, back to my Panda Research review.

What is Panda Research?

Panda Research is a company that supposedly offers it’s members a way of making money online by filling out surveys, completing offers and reading emails.

Now just on that, there also appears to be a misunderstanding of payout thresholds. Some say it $100, while others say it’s $50.

This is what I found on there website.

As you can see, the threshold appears to be $50.

Further research shows that members get paid in lots of $50. which means that if you have $102.50 owed in your account then you’d get paid $100 and the balance $2.50 remains in the account until it reaches the threshold once again as stated on their website.

Is Panda Research Legit?

As far as I could tell the company appears to be legit. This doesn’t mean that you’ll make money with them though, it just means that legally they are able to operate their company within the confines of the law. According to the BBB they are not accredited.

There seems to be some discrepancy as to whether they’re a legit survey company or whether they’re just the “middle-men” and get people to fill out offers on behalf of big marketing companies.

Either way, what is apparent is that there’s a large number of people they don’t get paid for their work.

Panda Research Complaints

According to the research that I have done, it appears that Panda Research have a number of disgruntled members. Here’s a few screens shots of what members are saying in forums.

Does Panda Research Work?

Okay, so in the sea of people that are complaining about not getting paid by Panda Research I did find a few that did get paid.

is panda research a scam

Now there doesn’t seem to be any explanation as to why they were getting paid and why the others didn’t.

But what is clear is that if you do participate in the program then you’re taking a huge punt on whether you’ll get paid for your efforts.

Ditto to all of the complaints: the lag time to post, no response to
questions or requests, no indication of payout-ever! Hit 300 dollar
level and no response. This is the wrong place for any one to go.
    Stay away !

Complete scam. The surveys never complete. You get spammed with emails from several other spam email robots, including “Jenna VP mysteryshopper”. I tried to get off the mailing lists, finally stopped using that email

Panda research is a total scam. I have 124.00 but I have only been approved for 4.02. Go figure. I reported them to BBB.

I would just like to add my own experience to this particular review. I live in Maine, and therefore my ZIP Code ends in a zero. Apparently, the panda research system does not take a zero is the first number in the ZIP Code, because they keep telling me that I do not live in the United States. According to my taxes, voting records, and all other indicators that I have, the state of Maine is still and always has been a part of the United States. Yet, I find no place where I can contact panda research to helpcorrect this situation. Apparently, after reading this review and the comments below, I am relieved to have been “refused” pipe and a research.
