The beauty of it is that all of these things can be enjoyed at a low monthly subscription price. You won’t need to spend more than $3 on this site, based on their subscription plans.

Geeker is a Scam that You Should Avoid
Geeker is a streaming service that is able to provide its members with classic movies, music, and books. The company, using their love for these forms of media, has gathered a lot of titles for their members to enjoy.
To be a member, you just need to sign up and subscribe to the website. But the company offers a 30-day free trial period to let you test out their services. To sign up, you need to provide a credit card.
The company says that they will only use it for age verification purposes and will not charge it during the 30-day trial period.
You can choose to cancel your subscription before 30 days. If you choose to continue, the company will charge you every month, depending on the subscription plan you chose.
Unfortunately, all these claims are false, making Geeker a scam that you need to avoid at all costs. For one, the site doesn’t really have the movies, music, or books that they have advertised.
Another is that there have been a lot of complaints about the site still charging credit cards even after people have canceled their subscriptions before the trial period ends.
If you’re still not convinced that the site is a scam, read on, as I’ll be detailing further in this review the reasons they are a scam.
Who is the Geeker Website Made For?
The Geeker website is basically made for people who are looking for some entertainment at an affordable price.
This is what the website offers people, a chance to watch movies, read books, or listen to music for hours with the vast array of titles that are available.
And they’re offering all of these for less than a dollar to as high as $3 per month. What’s more, they have a 30-day free trial to allow you to enjoy these things for free to see if you like it.
You just need to sign up at the website to start the trial. The company, though, will ask you for your credit card details upon sign up.
They say it is just for verifying your age and they won’t charge you anything for the entire 30-days. Unfortunately, everything the site promises is actually all fake and they’re just there to scam you.
It seems like they also don’t have any of the content they said they have on their website. This further proves they are really a scam.
In the next section, I’ll discuss more in detail why this site is considered a scam and why you need to stay away.
How Does the Geeker Website Work and Why it’s a Scam?
So the Geeker website is a streaming site that offers movies, books, and music. They promise a wide array of choices at an affordable price.
But as I said above, the website is a total scam and I’ll be discussing in detail here the reasons why they are considered a scam.
But first, some information on what they are offering. The site has 3 subscription plans with the cheapest starting at $0.95 per month and their most expensive subscription is at $2.95.
Each subscription plan has different offers with the most expensive one being a family plan. To entice you to try their service, Geeker offers a free trial for 30-days for the $2.95 subscription plan.
This is where the problem begins. To avail of the free trial, you would need to sign up and become a member. But to complete your registration, you need to provide your credit card details or PayPal email.
Geeker says it’s for age verification and they won’t charge you anything during the trial period. If you cancel the subscription before the 30-day period you won’t get charged.
Unfortunately, the company doesn’t deliver on its promise of not charging you anything after you cancel your subscription. If you try contacting them about it they will usually ignore your email or inquiries.
Those who were lucky to get a reply from the company were promised a refund. But none of them got a refund even after a few months of waiting.
There were even some who were unluckier, as the company charged their card or PayPal account a couple of times within a month.
And some who got charged continuously for several months even after canceling their subscription before the trial period even ended.
If this happens to you, the best way to deal with this is to contact your bank to explain the situation. They will be more than willing to provide the assistance you need.
Another reason Geeker is a scam is that they don’t really have any books, movies, or music available on the website.
A lot of the members who tried the 30-day free trial said that they didn’t really see any of the content that the website promised, showing that they falsely advertised what they are offering.
This means that Geeker doesn’t really offer anything except a way for you to lose money.
What is Good about the Geeker Website
Now that we know more about the Geeker website and how they work, let’s see if there’s something good about this website.
- There’s really nothing good to say about Geeker. The website lied about the content that they are offering and they also lied about not charging you anything if you cancel your subscription before the trial period ended. So there’s really nothing good about it at all.
What is Bad about the Geeker Website
When it comes to the bad things, there are actually a lot of them, but I’ll just focus on the important stuff that you need to know.
- My first issue with Geeker is that they do not really have any of the content that they promised to provide you if you become a member. After registering and getting access to the member’s page, you will not see any movies, books, music, or games there. They just make you believe they have content so you will provide your credit card details.
- Another problem that I have with them is that they lie about just using your credit card for verification details and not charging you with anything if you cancel your subscription before the trial period ends. The company is really just after your credit card details so they can charge you money, even after canceling your subscription. This is basically theft.
- It’s bad enough that they are stealing from you, but it’s even worse that they are doing it consistently and regularly. Yes, once you’ve provided your credit card or PayPal details, they will consistently and regularly take money from you. It is only after you call your bank about this issue that the charges will stop and prevent Geeker from taking more money.
Is the Geeker Website To Be Recommended?
The answer is a Big NO, especially considering that this website is only created for the purpose of stealing your credit card details and taking money from you.
It’s not even recommended that you try out their 30-day trial period. You’ll just be wasting your time there, as Geeker doesn’t really have any movies, music, or books available on their website for you to enjoy.
The website is clearly just created for the sole purpose of stealing money from unsuspecting people, asking for your credit card details during the sign-up process as a way to verify your age.
They show this fake advertisement of the many different contents that you can enjoy once you sign up. Once you register and enter the members area, you will realize everything is just one big lie.
It will be too late at this point since the website will have your credit card details. The best solution you have if you provided your card details is to contact your bank immediately to prevent getting charged.
One piece of advice I can give you here is that you should never be too quick to provide credit card or bank details if the company is not well known, especially during the sign-up period.
Do your research about the company first to see if they are legit and they are really offering what they say they are offering. In this way, you can avoid this kind of situation and keep your money safe.
