There are a lot of opportunities available when it comes to making money online. There’s answering surveys, completing offers, doing freelance jobs, and much more.
There are a lot of websites out there that offers various opportunities within the site. Now, one such opportunity that you might come across are those that comprise completing small jobs.

Microworkers is a Legit Opportunity To Make Money
Microworkers is an online platform that connects employers who have small jobs or tasks they need completing to people who are willing to do them.
You will be paid for each job you complete and the amount of money you earn will depend on the kind of job that you need to do.
From what I’ve seen so far, I can say that Microworkers is a legit opportunity to make money. There are legit companies that use the website and post the small jobs that they need completing.
This assures you that you will also be paid for completing small tasks since you know a lot of the clients who post the jobs are legit.
There are some issues with this opportunity, though, and one of them is that the site has a low Better Business Bureau rating.
Another issue is that the jobs available are limited and a lot of them are actually low paying. There are also a lot of spam posts on the site, so it’s hard to know if the job posted is really legit or not.
I’ll discuss these issues in more detail as we progress further in this review of Microworkers.
Who Uses Microworkers?
The Microworkers website is designed for two groups of people with one being companies, organizations, or individuals who have small jobs that they need completed but can’t do them themselves.
The other group are people who are looking for opportunities to make some money online. For companies and individuals, the site offers them an opportunity to outsource some of their small jobs.
They just need to post the small job that they have, what their requirements are for completing it, how long it should take, and how much they are willing to pay for it.
Companies can also provide ratings and feedback on the workers that they get.
If you are someone who is looking for ways to make money online, Microworks provides that opportunity.
You can make money with this site just by completing various small tasks that are advertised. There’s a variety of small jobs advertised on the site, including downloading and testing an app, posting and commenting on social media, and so on.
You will be paid once you complete the job and have met all of the requirements. Your money can be withdrawn after reaching the minimum cash out requirement.
Becoming a member is easy and free to do so. In the next section, I’ll discuss in more detail the registration process, as well as how you can make money with this site.
How Do You Make Money with Microworkers?
There’s only one way for you to make money on Microworkers and that is by applying for and completing the various small jobs advertised on the site.
The amount of money you can earn will depend on the job that you are doing. The payment is made after you have met all the requirements and completed the assignment.
You can withdraw the money once you reach the minimum amount needed to make a withdrawal. To begin, you need to become a member of Microworkers, which is easy and free to do so.
Just go their site to register, provide the required details, and confirm your email address. Once you have done that, you are registered and can access the member’s area.
Before you can apply for a job, you will need to verify your phone number first. A Microworkers PIN will also be required to be able to withdraw your money.
When you first request for a withdrawal, Microworkers will send you a PIN via mail to the address that you provided on your registration.
This is an automatic process and they send it via mail to ensure that the worker is verified and to prevent multiple accounts. After completing these steps, you can start applying for a job.
Once inside the member’s area, you can see the different jobs that you can apply for. The list of jobs will include several details that will help you in applying for a job.
This includes the Success Rate, the Time to Finish (TTF) the task, the Time to Rate (TTR) that an employer will need, and the payment for completing the job.
You’ll be able to sort the jobs based on categories according to pay, best ratings, TTR, and the latest jobs available. You can apply for all of the jobs that you see.
But it is important to note that you should only apply for those that you are comfortable doing or are sure that you can complete properly and on time.
The reason for this is that employers will be rating your work after you have completed it. The goal, of course, is to get the highest rating possible. But there is also a consequence if you got a low rating for a job.
As a worker, it is important that you maintain a Success Rate of 75% at all times. If it falls below that, you won’t be able to apply to any job for 45 days.
It is important to remember that Microworkers will provide you with a Temporary Success Rate, which is the calculation of your Satisfied vs Non-Satisfied tasks + Not yet Rated tasks.
Your temporary success rate would need to be at least 75% to allow you to continue to submit tasks. Once it falls below 75% you won’t be able to submit a task for 1 to 30 days.
The length of time will depend on how fast your ratings will go up after some of your completed tasks that are not yet rated are finally given a rating.
When it comes to withdrawing your money, Microworkers require that you at least have $9 + the fees that will be deducted when you withdraw.
If you will withdraw via PayPal, the fee will be 7.50%. Skrill / Dwolla has a fee of 6.50% while Local Fund Transfer via Transpay will have a 3% fee + $1 for Non-USD transfer or +$3 for USD Transfer.
If you withdraw via Payoneer, you need at least $20 + the 5% fee. Payments are sent twice a week, every Wednesday and Sunday. Transpay withdrawal may appear in your local bank within 3 to 5 days.
As mentioned above, there are several issues with this opportunity. The first issue with Microworkers is that the Better Business Bureau rating of this site is very low.
If you rely on BBB’s rating to determine the viability of this opportunity, then you will be disappointed to know it has an F rating, at the time of writing this review.
Another issue with this opportunity is that the available jobs posted are limited. At the time of this writing, only 89 small jobs were available to thousands of workers.
There’s no mention on how frequently the site updates its list, but even if they do it regularly, there are still more workers than jobs. A lot of these jobs are also low-paying.
Out of the 89 listed jobs, the highest paying available is only $0.41. Though the task is relatively easy to do, you have to contend with only earning a small amount for it.
You will need to complete several jobs in a day to really earn a decent amount of money from this website.
Another issue is that the site doesn’t seem to verify the jobs being posted. There have been complaints from workers that some jobs are just a way to get workers personal information.
When applying for a job, it’s important that you refrain from providing sensitive information. If a job requires that, then it’s a sign that it could be a scam.
What I Like about Microworkers
Now that we know what Microworkers is and what they are offering, it’s time to talk about what I like about this opportunity.
- One of the things that I like about Microworkers is that they offer a variety of options when it comes to getting paid. You don’t just have to rely on PayPal to get your money, as this opportunity supports different payment options like Transpay, Skrill, Payoneer, and much more.
- I also like that it is simple and free to be a member of Microworkers. There’s no need to answer long application forms or provide a lot of information to register. You also won’t be required to pay anything when you become a member or pay a regular monthly fee.
What I Dislike about Microworkers
Of course, not everything is sweet and dandy with Microworkers, as there are also several things that I didn’t like with this opportunity.
- One of the first things that I didn’t like about Microworkers is that the available small jobs seems to be limited. At the time this review was being written, the site only had 89 jobs available to thousands of workers. This means that the supply greatly outnumbers demand. And unless you are quick to apply for a job, there’s a big chance the options you have will soon be gone.
- Another issue with Microworkers is that most of the small jobs posted are low-paying. A lot of them pay less than a dollar, which means you will need to complete several in a day just to be able to earn a decent amount of money.
- I also don’t like that Microworkers doesn’t verify the jobs being posted. There have been issues coming from workers about jobs being a scam or spam.
- I also don’t like that Microworkers BBB rating is F, which means the site has been bad in addressing and resolving complaints coming from both workers and companies.
Do I Recommend Microworkers?
After learning more about Microworkers and what they really bring, I can say that this is an opportunity that I don’t really recommend.
I believe you will just be wasting your time with this opportunity, considering that most of the jobs they offer are low-paying ones.
You need to really be active and fast in applying for jobs to be able to earn $5 to $10 an hour with this opportunity.
You also have to consider the fact that some of the jobs posted turn out to be scams, only after your vital information for whatever purpose.
Then, there’s also the issue of only having limited jobs available and competing against thousands of workers. There are a lot of better opportunities to make money online. It’s best that you check them out instead.
