There are a lot of people who are looking for ways to make money online. And why not? The dream of always being able to work anytime and anywhere you want is very alluring.
But with so many opportunities available, the challenge is to find the right opportunity that can really make you money.
This is important, considering a lot of the opportunities available turn out to be a scam where you won’t earn anything, or worse, you will lose money.
One such opportunity that is presenting itself to be legitimate is Twinkas. The site promotes itself as some sort of humanitarian company that offers ways for people to help make a difference and earn money.
The amount of money you can earn here will be based on a lot of factors within the website. But is this opportunity a legitimate one or is it just a scam like the rest?

Twinkas is a Scam that You Should be Avoiding
Twinkas is trying to brand itself as a humanitarian company that has a mission of helping people and the environment.
There are several ways to make money but the main way to earn here is to give donations and the site will provide you with ROI for the donations you give.
But if you look at the Twinkas website, though, you will be a bit disappointed, as the site doesn’t really provide good information about what the company does, and there’s a good reason for it.
This is because Twinkas has already been proven to be a scam, as what they are really running is just a Ponzi scheme. The site actually is offline already, after duping a lot of poor Nigerians out of their hard earned money.
Now they are back and say they are offering new ways to earn money and have changed some of their old ways. They have also expanded their reach, now having websites dedicated to Kenya, Ghana, and South Africa.
In reality, though, the company is still a Ponzi scheme and no amount of updating the terms and conditions will change that.
If you are still curious about Twinkas, then you had better read on, as I’ll be discussing further how the company works and why it is considered a scam.
Who Uses the Twinkas Website?
Based on the information provided on the website, Twinkas is a site that is designed for people who are looking to make a difference and help out there fellow mankind and the environment.
The company presents itself as a charitable organization that aims to help out people and the environment, especially since they claim the company was founded by humanitarians.
It just wasn’t mentioned on the site where they donate the money they get or how they donate it. They don’t even say what kind of humanitarian projects they are supporting or establishing.
So there’s really no way to know if the money you pour in is really being used for donations. However, it seems like Twinkas has different plans for the money, as they also offer opportunities to make money on the website.
Twinkas gives a guaranteed ROI within a certain number of days on the money that you donate to them. As much as this sounds appealing, you have to ask yourself where does the company get the money?
What kind of products or services are they selling to be able to earn big to provide the kind of ROI they are promising for your money.
The answer, of course, is they don’t have any products to sell. The money they use to pay off donors comes from the new money coming in.
In the next section of this article, I’ll explain further how Twinkas works and why they are a scam.
How You Make Money with Twinkas and Why it is a Scam
The main way to earn with Twinkas is through putting money into the site and getting high ROI for it after a certain number of days.
The company used to have a 2×1 matrix, which means you will need two positions to be filled first before you can earn a commission.
This means you will need at least 2 more downlines before the company gives the ROI you have earnd. Yes, this is a bit similar to that of multilevel marketing.
However, their structure has already changed to what they call the Logical Scattered Matrix Plan (LSMP), which makes use of the First In, First Out method of operation.
From what I understand, this new method won’t require that you have to have two downlines first in order to earn. Twinkas now make use of a bot to distribute the ROIs to the members to ensure no one is left behind.
It follows the First In, First Out method, which means those who invested first will be ones to receive their ROIs first. The company promises an ROI of 200% for 21 days. The minimum donation is 5,000 Nigerian Naira.
Aside from investing, Twinkas has also developed a coin they call TKs, which you can use to purchase items found on the site, use it to book domestic airlines (Nigerian airlines) or to trade it.
The trading works similar to that of how you trade in the Foreign Exchange market, where you purchase a certain currency and simultaneously sell another.
You can exchange your real currency for TKs or you can earn it as long as you have referrals participating in the LSMP cycle.
The number of TKs you can earn will depend on the amount of Nigerian Naira your referral will donate divided by 359,000 (the value they have for the TKs).
Now, if you take a closer look at the compensation plan that Twinkas offers, you should have a lot of questions about it. The first question is where do the company get the money to provide high ROI?
Another question would be where did they get the value of the TKs coin they developed, considering it is not a publicly traded currency.
Since the company doesn’t have any products or services to sell, the money they give to investors come from the donations that new investors are pouring in, making them a Ponzi scheme.
As for the value of the TKs, well it’s just the value that Twinkas would like to have for their coin. There’s really no legit basis for it except this is what they feel should be its value.
Another dubious sign that Twinkas is a scam is that the website doesn’t really provide any information about the company and the ones who own it.
Hiding the information of the owner and the developer of a website is a clear example of a company that is operating illegally.
The last evidence that the company is a scam is that it has already shut down before. It was already discovered as a scam, forcing it to be inactive for a while.
It seems like the owners, though, have already spent all of the money they stole, which is why they are back at it again. Their compensation plans may have changed, but the company is still a scam.
What is Good about Twinkas
Now that we know more about Twinkas and what they offer, it is time to discuss if there’s something good about their opportunity.
- Well, there’s really nothing good about what Twinkas is offering. The website is a big scam that will just be a complete waste of your time and money. You might earn from the start, as a way to lure you in. Once you’ve invested more, the company will just stop paying you because that’s what Ponzi schemes do.
What is Bad about Twinkas
When it comes to bad things, there are actually a lot of them. But I’ll just mention some of the important things you need to know.
- The first bad thing about Twinkas is that it is a scam that is running a Ponzi scheme. Sure you might get paid at first, which is what Ponzi schemes usually do. Once you believe their lies and put more money in, the company will stop paying and communicating with you. They will just run away with your hard earned money.
- I also didn’t like that Twinkas is trying to promote itself as a charitable company that aims to help people and the environment. It’s bad enough that they are already scamming people, especially Nigerians, out of their hard earned money. But it’s even worse that they are trying to brand themselves as a company that is out to do humanitarian and noble work.
- It’s also bad that Twinkas has yet to completely shut down, which means there will likely be more victims of this company’s illegal activities.
Do I Recommend Twinkas?
Of course not! The company is a scam and a big lie, and it is best if you stay away from it. You will only waste your time and money with them, as you won’t really earn anything substantial there.
They’re not a charitable organization that aims to help people and the environment, nor are they a legit company that can provide you with ways to earn money.
Their only purpose, really, is to steal money from innocent people and line their pockets. They don’t care about doing humanitarian work or helping people make money.
So if someone tries to invite you to join Twinkas, you,d better run away as fast as you can. There are a lot of better opportunities to make money out there than this scam.
