If you want to make money using online survey websites then, Cinchbucks might be worth considering.
I review this online surveys website to ascertain whether it is a scam or a legitimate way for you to make money online.
Like most online survey companies, Cinchbucks will pay you to complete offers and surveys, watch videos and refer friends.
But while, I feel there is a time and place for online surveys, I’m a little biased towards them, because of all of the negative comments my readers have experienced with online survey companies in general, including, being a waste of time and effort, not getting paid for tasks completed and even accounts being terminated for no reason at all.
In this review I will cover whether Cinchbucks is legit or a scam, how to sign up and more.
But before I do, you can also check out the step-by-step training that helps me earn over $10,000+ per month working from home.

What is Cinchbucks
Cinchbucks is an India based online survey company, that like other online survey companies, allows you to make money by completing offers, doing surveys, watching videos, playing online games and more.
Like all online survey websites, they come with both their pros and cons.
Cinchbucks Virtual Currency – CB
Cinchbuck uses a virtual currency on their website called CB.
I mention this because, you will see this acronym being bandied all over their website, so much so, that, unless you know what it stands for you might not be making optimal choices when it comes to selecting tasks to complete.
I assume they use CB points instead of general currency for two reasons, one being that this website is available to most countries around the world, excluding Pakistan, Nigeria, North Korea & 11 other countries blocked by PayPal and as such they needed a way to generalize a form of currency.
And two, CB points create an artificial variance on the perceived value of what you’re endeavoring to collect.
For example, each CB point is worth 1 cent, so when they offer you 50 points for simply signing up, the reality is, they’re paying you just $0.50 cents. The significance being, other online survey websites like InboxDollars, offers a $5 (real money) sign up bonus, which means you’d be 1000 times better off.
Who uses Cinchbucks?
The main users of Cinchbucks are people who are wanting to make money completing surveys, playing online games or watching videos.
These folks are usually stay at home moms and dads, students, retirees and more.
How To Sign Up
As with most online survey companies, they make it very easy for you to sign up and in some cases incentivizes you to do so.
The sign up process with Cinchbucks only requires an email address and password, check the Terms and Conditions and Privacy policy and hit the green “Sign up Now” button and you’re in.
You will receive an email with a link confirming your email address and you’re done.
As part of the sign up process you can accrue more CBs by providing more details in your account. For example, they give you an extra 10 CB for completing your profile.
I imagine the more information they collect on you, the closer they can find surveys that match your profile, good for you and the company providing the surveys.
Cinchbucks Promo Code
I see a lot of online survey websites incentivizing their visitors to join by offering them cash bonuses or bonus points when signing up.
However, other online survey websites like Inboxdollars offer a $5 sign up fee as an incentive to join their website, so it’s no surprise that Cinchback also incentivizes it’s visitors to sign up as well.
In this case they’re offering 50 free Cinchbuck (CB) points.
All you have to do to redeem these points is to enter the special code, which pops up on the main page of the website when you first land on it.
The day I reviewed this website it showed the code CBLAUNCH. This may or may not be different when you visit the website, but if nothing else, at least you know now what to do with it.
Cinchbucks Addons
You can download CinchAddon’s for both the Chrome and Firefox browsers.
These addon’s just let you access your account information faster when tracking your earnings, account reports and redeem CinchCodes easily. They also notify you of new surveys and offers that are available.
How Do You Make Money With Cinchbucks?
The aim in Cinchbucks is to earn as many CBs as you can by completing a variety of tasks and when you reach 1000 points you can redeem them for cash or a gift card.
Here’s some of the ways you can earn points.
Offers
On the surface, completing offers sounds like a good idea, because a lot of them only require an email address in order for you to redeem your CB points, while others require credit card details in order to redeem your points.
Although, you’re not charged at the time, the offer you signed up for, in some cases are trial offers that will get charged if you don’t cancel the the free trial.
Often, the biggest problem with completing these types of offers is that it’s near impossible to contact anyone to cancel the trial offer, ultimately leading to your credit card being charged the first month and subsequent months until you can finally get it cancelled.
Surveys
You will start receiving survey invitations, however, receiving an invitation doesn’t necessarily mean that you will be able to make money, as you will still have to go through pre-qualifying questions in order to make sure you meet the companies requirements.
Once you do, you can earn anywhere between $o.20 and $2 that could take you anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes to complete.
Videos
I do like the thought of getting paid to watch videos, so long as they’re videos I’m interested in. Often the videos you’re required to watch aren’t that interesting and in order for you to make money with watching video you have to watch the video all the way to the end.
And no, watching the same video over and over again doesn’t count.
Cashback
The site allows you to earn cash back rewards if you purchase products online through their website.
I’m guessing they earn a commission on the referral and share part of that commission with you in the form of a cashback.
For example, they will offer you a 5 percent cash back from Amazon if you buy any products via their website.ack rewards.
CB Codes
You will get special promo codes from time to time that are posted on their website, that when you enter them can earn you more points.
Referral Program
You can earn more CB points by referring other people to Cinchbucks, including, friends, family, work colleagues.
For every person you refer you will earn 10% of any CB point they accrue over the life time of their membership. For example, if they earn 1000 CB, you will earn 100 CB because you referred them.
Get enough referrals and you will be earning CB points passively.
Forms Of Payment
You can redeem your CBs for the following gift cards and cash payment systems.
Paypal, USD Visa Prepaid Gift Cards, $10 Walmart Present Card, EUR Prepaid Mastercard Gift Card, GBP Prepaid MasterCard Gift Card, $10 eBay Gift Card USD, $10 Target Gift Card or $10itunes Present Card.
Once you’ve reached the threshold and request payment, it can take up to 7 days for Cinchbucks to process your payment and a further 1 to two days before you receive it in your account.
Note : If you want to redeem your points for cash instead of a gift card, then just be aware that you will be charged a 2% PayPal process fee. Furthermore, some gift cards may incur a $1 fee.
Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find any payment proof on the Internet to show that people are making money with Cinchbucks.
What are people saying about Cinchbucks?
I have to be honest, I can’t find much feedback from people who use Cinchbucks, which is most likely because Cinchbucks is not a very popular online survey website.
I have seen one comment on Reddit from a person who said that they completed two offers with Cinchbucks but, wasn’t credited for it.
What I Liked about Cinchbucks
- They do give you a variety of ways to make money by watching videos, completing offers, surveys, playing games and more.
- They have browser addons that enable you to see your stats quickly, and to receive notifications when new surveys arrive.
What I Didn’t Like about Cinchbucks
- Like all online survey websites, you can spend a lot of time completing offer, surveys, playing games etc, but not get paid much.
- Some surveys ask pre-qualifying questions before you can take part. These questions while somewhat shorter, do take up your time, that is not compensated for.
- Some trial offers require a credit card in order for you to complete the offer, which can be a pain in the rear to cancel, and in the worse case scenario, cost you money if not cancelled on time.
- Some offers are country specific, which means that you may not be able to complete the offer even if you want to.
Do I Recommend Cinchbucks?
Like I mentioned earlier, I’m a little biased when it comes to online survey websites as they can be a waste of your valuable time and effort, that I feel would be better served on other money making opportunities.
The comments I get from people who try to make money online using these websites are pretty much the same, i.e. that they’re a waste of time, not getting credited for the work they completed and in some cases, not being paid once they reach the payment threshold.
Having said that, Cinchbucks do look like a legit website and they do offer you a variety of different ways for you to earn points in exchange for gift cards or cash.
The 2% processing fee for PayPal kind of sucks, but it’s best to know these things before you get started, so you can decide whether or not you want to get started in the first place.
An the end of the day as far as online survey websites go, I think they’re okay, but as I say, there are better ways to spend you time making money.
If you’re interested in making money online, then I recommend reading this review.
