When it comes to money-making opportunities, there is no opportunity that is more common than answering surveys.
There are a lot of websites out there that offer surveys as their main, or at least, one of the opportunities for you to make money online.
Not all of these sites, though, are legitimate, as some of them are also scams. There are also legit sites that are considered a waste of time since the earnings they provide are not worth the effort and time.
Some sites pay in cash, while some offer different rewards. For this review, we’ll be talking about a site called Nicequest.
Nicequest is a website that offers people an opportunity to earn just by answering surveys. You will be paid in their virtual currency, which they call shells.
The shells can be redeemed for various rewards, once you have accumulated enough. The value of the rewards you can earn in a month will vary.
But it seems like you can expect to earn $10 to $30 worth of rewards in a month. But is Nicequest really a legitimate opportunity to earn or just a scam that you need to avoid.

Nicequest is a Legit Opportunity That Really Pays
Nicequest is an online community that provides people with an opportunity to earn rewards just for answering surveys.
The site will pay you in shells, which you can redeem for various rewards once you have earned enough shells.
From what I’ve seen so far, I can say that the site is a legitimate opportunity. The site does offer an opportunity to earn rewards just for answering surveys.
The shells you earn can be redeemed for various rewards and the site does send you the reward. Despite the site being legit, a lot of members have complained about several issues with the site.
One of the major complaints comes from the limited surveys that they send out. Another complaint about the site is delayed payment of the rewards they send or the item being faulty.
As we progress further with this review, I’ll discuss further these issues. I’ll also discuss more about the rewards they offer and if $40 is really the highest value you can expect to get in a month.
Who Uses Nicequest?
The Nicequest website is designed to be used by two groups with one being businesses and organizations who are looking to gather information and opinions to help improve their products and services.
The other group are people like you who are looking for ways to earn rewards online.
For businesses and organizations, the site offers an opportunity for them to learn what people are thinking about.
The site is able to do this by conducting surveys for their online community of panelists to answer. The site can conduct different surveys like surveys for the computer, for mobile, for teens, and so on.
For people like you, the site offers an opportunity to earn rewards just for answering surveys. The site conducts different surveys and you will get an invite depending on your profile and interests.
You will be paid in shells, which you can redeem for various rewards once you have earned enough of them.
Becoming a member in Nicequest is free to do so, but you will need an invitation in order to sign up. It’s available in several countries and you just need to be at least 16 years old to be able to register.
In the next section, I’ll discuss this in more detail, as well as how many shells you can earn whenever you answer surveys.
How Do You Earn Rewards with Nicequest?
Nicequest offers several ways to earn rewards in the website, but the main opportunity they have is answering surveys.
You will be paid in shells, which you can redeem for different rewards that the site offers. You just need to reach the minimum shells needed for the reward that you are eyeing.
To begin, you will need to become a member of Nicequest. To be able to register, you need to receive an invitation first. Getting an invitation to earn will come from the site’s partners.
Nicequest didn’t really mention who their partners are, but checking their social media accounts can probably help in learning more how to get an invitation.
Once you are invited, you can register and complete your profile. After completing this you can start receiving survey invitations.
The site conducts several types of surveys. They have surveys that you can answer with a laptop or computer, surveys that require mobile devices, surveys for teens, and even surveys for Hispanic people.
The kind of surveys you can get will depend on your profile and demographics. The site says you can expect to receive 1 to 3 survey invites a month.
This is not really a lot of surveys, which is a common complaint by a lot of the Nicequest members. But the site does say that if you answer all of the surveys invites they send, they will know you are an active member.
Being an active member could possibly increase the frequency of you getting survey invites. Like most survey sites, though, you will first need to qualify for a survey before proceeding to answer.
Fortunately, you will still get rewarded with a few shells, even if you don’t qualify. The number of shells you can earn will depend on the survey you are answering.
Unfortunately, you cannot really know how many shells you will get until after you finish the survey. The shells you earn can be redeemed for various rewards.
The site offers gift cards that come from different brands. The lowest you can redeem is a gift card that is worth $10 and it will cost you 110 shells.
You can also redeem your shells for various items, like kitchen appliances, electronics, and more. You just need to reach the shells needed to redeem for the items you like.
The problem with redeeming for rewards is that there have been some complaints that the site takes a while before they are able to deliver the reward.
There have also been complaints that the items they deliver seem to be used, as there are signs of scratches and dents.
This could be isolated cases, though, since there are only a few complaints like this one. Nevertheless, it’s still something that you might want to consider.
Nicequest also allows you to donate your earnings to various NGOs that they have partnered with if you are feeling a bit charitable.
The site also has a Premium respondent program, where you will be required to install Nicestats software on your computer or mobile device. Doing so will earn you 100 shells.
You will also earn additional points every time you are able to complete a survey as long as the software is installed. You can uninstall it anytime if you are no longer happy.
Nicequest also has an occasional draw, where you get a chance to win cool technology prices like a new smartphone, tablet, and other cool gadgets. You automatically get an entry for every survey you complete.
What I Liked about Nicequest
Now that we have learned more about Nicequest and what they offer, it’s time to discuss what I liked about this opportunity.
- The first thing I liked about Nicequest is that the site has a wide selection of rewards to choose from. You can choose to be rewarded with gift cards that come from different brands, or you can choose to get rewarded with different items. You will just need to reach the required number of shells for the reward that you are aiming for.
- I also like that Nicequest will still award you with some shells even if you don’t qualify for the survey they provide. This is a good thing, as this ensures that you won’t just be wasting your time, even if you are disqualified from the survey.
- It’s also a good thing that it is free to join Nicequest, as this means that you don’t have to worry about paying for registration or membership fee when you register.
What I Disliked about Nicequest
As appealing as the opportunity that Nicequest provides, there are also things that I disliked about this site, which I’ll discuss here.
- The first thing that I disliked about Nicequest is that you cannot just register outright whenever you want to. You will need to receive an invitation to register first before you can proceed with the sign-up process. The worst part is that the site didn’t really provide any information on how you can get an invite. They just mention you can get an invite from their partners that the site didn’t really identify.
- I also didn’t like the fact that the survey opportunities that Nicequest offers are very limited. The site says that you can likely expect to get 1 to 3 survey invites a month. But in reality, you are likely to receive only 1 invite in a month, which limits greatly the earning potential of this opportunity.
- It’s also bad that Nicequest doesn’t really provide any information with regards to how many shells you can earn when you participate in a survey. Even in the survey invite, they don’t disclose the number of shells you can get for completing a survey or if you are disqualified. The only way to know how many shells you can get is after you have completed the survey or after you have been disqualified.
- I also disliked that Nicequest doesn’t have an option to redeem your shells for cash. You are only limited to getting gift cards or other items as your reward.
Do I Recommend Nicequest?
After learning more about what Nicequest is and what they are offering, I can say that it is an opportunity that I don’t really recommend. But you are welcome to check it out.
The site has some nice upsides, like being able to get rewarded with cool items, once you have earned enough shells, or getting paid, even if you are disqualified to participate in a survey.
This is why you could still check it out and see for yourself if it’s something that will work for you. But in my opinion the upsides are not enough to counter the downsides that the site has.
As much as I like the rewards they offer, I would still prefer it if they provided an option to earn in cash.
I’m also not a big fan of the site’s limited surveys available, as this means that you will likely need several months before you are able to reach the minimum number of shells required.
This also means that earning $10 to $40 worth of rewards a month is close to impossible as there’s no guarantee you will get enough surveys in a month to be able to earn that amount.
This is why I don’t really recommend this opportunity to anyone.
