What is InstaGC?
InstaGC is a get-paid-to website where people will just have to complete certain tasks that the website requires and they will be paid in points.
The points can be redeemed for gift cards from a lot of different stores like Amazon, Walmart, and many more.
Launched in 2011, the website provides people with a lot of ways to earn points, but the main way for people to earn points is if they complete surveys, watch videos, shop online, or search the web.
People can also earn points through InstaGC’s referral program, where they will give a percentage of their referral’s earnings.
Once people earn enough points, they can redeem it for gift cards. InstaGC also provides the option that points can be redeemed for cash as well.
It is easy and free to join InstaGC and the only requirement the company has is that people joining should be at least 18-years-old. They allow kids as young as 13-years-old, as long as they have their parent’s consent.
The InstaGC get-paid-to website is available in all countries and regions supported by PayPal, excluding China and Vietnam.
Who Uses InstaGC?
Two types of people use the InstaGC website, the first one is by people and companies who have ads, offers, products, and services that they want to be promoted, advertised, or tested out.
The different companies partnering with InstaGC will benefit from the many members of the site, looking to view videos, test out products, or answer surveys to earn points.
So, this assures companies that everything they put out in InstaGC will be viewed, tested out, or answered by the members. The other type of people who use the website is looking to earn extra money or earn gift cards online.
They just need to sign-up, which is free, link their PayPal account, verify the email they used to sign-up, then they are already set to earn points.
It is important that people have a PayPal account, as InstaGC requires that they are linked before proceeding with anything. The website will also be redeeming cash through PayPal.
The website also checks if you’re browser has an ad blocker that is activated. It is important that these are deactivated, as some of the tasks needed to do require the viewing of ads.
The points given will vary per offer, survey answered, or videos watched. But InstaGC claims that people can easily earn 100 points in a day just completing certain offers.
They even claim that some members earn 500 to 2,000 points a day. People will just need to be patient and complete all of the available offers on the website and also take advantage of the referral program.
How People Can Earn From InstaGC
With InstaGC being a get-paid-to website, members will have to do various tasks on the website to be able to earn points.
The main tasks involve completing surveys, watching videos, shopping online, and searching the web. The tasks come from different companies, including InstaGC.
They provide a lot of other tasks to complete, like answer quizzes, test out apps and games, sign-up for deals and offers, and so on.
Each task will earn members a certain amount of points and it can vary depending on the task to be completed and the company providing the task. Another way for members to earn more points is through the referral program.
Members who are able to successfully sign people who are from Australia, Canada, UK, and the US will automatically get 10 bonus points for confirmed and valid sign-ups.
Any sign-up outside these countries won’t get a bonus. But aside from sign-up bonus, members will also be 10% of the earning of all referrals, as long as the earnings or bonuses didn’t come from completing InstaGC tasks.
One earned point is equivalent to $0.01. So 100 points is equivalent to $1, while 1000 points are worth $10, and so on.
Once enough points are earned, members can redeem it already. They can choose to redeem it with the many gift cards available in InstaGC.
The website has a wide collection of gift cards from popular merchants like Amazon, Walmart, Apple, Microsoft, and more. The lowest gift card people can redeem is $1 and the highest is at $250.
Not all gift cards, though, are available in all countries, as some countries only have a limited number of gift cards that people can redeem.
But that won’t be a problem, as InstaGC has two more ways for people to use their points. With enough points, people can actually exchange them for cash that InstaGC will be paying via PayPal.
They can also do eCheck payment, but it is only available in members residing in Australia, Canada, the UK, and the US. Direct deposit is also possible, but only for US residents.
If members are feeling a bit generous, they can also donate their points to charitable organizations. There are wide arrays of organizations to choose from.
It is mentioned in the terms and conditions of the website that people would first need to redeem at least $50 worth of points in other rewards before getting access to PayPal. It will be processed within 7 days.
Once the first request has been processed, members can start redeeming their points for PayPal and InstaGC will process it immediately if it is below $25. A fee of $0.20 will be deducted per PayPal transaction.
What I Liked about InstaGC
After discussing how InstaGC works, it is time to discuss what I liked about them.
- It is very easy to sign-up and become a member, as InstaGC doesn’t really require much information other than the name, email address, and linking the PayPal account to the website.
- It is easy to navigate the site, as people can easily go to where they need to go. InstaGC did a good job of creating their website to be easily used by its members.
- It actually pays real money, which is a very big plus, considering a lot of people would still prefer cash over gift cards.
What I Didn’t Like about InstaGC
Of course, there are also things that I didn’t like about InstaGC, which I’ll discuss below.
- The need to make to first redeem $50 worth of points in other rewards before getting PayPal access. This is one condition I don’t like since it forces people to redeem their points elsewhere before being able to cash out.
- I also didn’t like that InstaGC required people to link their PayPal account to the website before they can actually use it. This gives the website access to information, such as age, address, contact details, and so on.
- Despite InstaGC offering cash payments, it won’t make people rich, nor is it enough to allow people to quit their jobs or earn a decent amount of money.
Is InstaGC Legit or a Waste of Time?
Now that we have discussed InstaGC and the things that I liked and disliked, I can say that the website is actually legit. They do what they say, pay people points every time they complete one of the many tasks found on the website.
The longevity of the company is also a good sign that they are a legitimate get-paid-to website and not just a fly by night kind of website that will disappear in less than a year or less than two years.
They have been in operation since 2011, so people don’t need to doubt the legitimacy of InstaGC, as the company is not out to scam people.
Besides, InstaGC also don’t require people to pay any fee when they are signing up or to purchase anything while they are doing their tasks. So people are assured they are not entering a scam website.
Are they to be Recommended?
But do I recommend InstaGC? If you are happy with earning a few dollars a month or having the chance to get gift cards, then you can check the site out and see if it works for you.
But for the rest of the people, I don’t actually recommend InstaGC. As good as the website seem, and as legitimate as they can be, I still find it a waste of time for a lot of people, especially those looking for decent income online.
The points that people are able to earn from their tasks is just about enough for a couple of dollars a day, or even less. Plus, I’ve read comments from people that redeeming the points for money is actually challenging.
It appears their accounts start to become blocked once they reach enough points to be able to convert it to a decent amount of money. There are also complaints that the customer service of the website is not good.
They don’t listen to people, don’t provide the right help, and are just mean in general. So if are thinking of checking out InstaGC, you can do so. Just don’t expect to much out of it.
