WorldVentures Review: Legit Travel MLM Or Scam?

A lot of people love to travel, going to different countries and basking in the new culture and environment that it brings.

This is why many people are willing to spend a lot of money just to be able to go to that dream destination or to experience that adventure of a lifetime.

Of course, not everyone has the money to be able to travel as often as they like or to go to the places they want to go to.

Heck, not everyone even has enough money to travel at all. But one opportunity is trying to change that. Enter WorldVentures, a company that offers people discounted travel packages to allow them to travel without costing an arm and leg.

The good thing about this company is that they also offer an MLM opportunity for people who are looking to make money.

You get to earn by promoting and selling the different travel packages that the company offers. You can earn profits from the sale and commissions for achieving certain sales quota.

The amount of money you can earn, though, will depend on a lot of factors. But is WorldVentures really a legit opportunity or is it just another scam to avoid?

WorldVentures is a Legit MLM Opportunity That Pays

WorldVentures is a direct selling company that offers people discounts on travel packages to allow them to travel without the need to pay a lot of money.

The company also has an MLM opportunity where their distributors are tasked to promote and sell the travel packages.

You can make money through the profits made selling the packages and through the commissions when you and the team under you accomplish certain sales targets.

From what I’ve seen, I can say that WorldVentures is a legit opportunity to make money. You can really make a profit here if you are able to sell the travel packages they offer.

You can really also earn commissions, provided you meet the requirements needed to earn them. There are some issues with this opportunity, though.

One of the main issues with this opportunity is the upfront cost to keep your membership. It’s not enough that you pay a registration fee, but there’s also a monthly fee you need to pay.

There’s also an issue with the compensation plan that they offer as it is complicated and hard to understand.

Lastly, WorldVentures only has a C+ rating from BBB and this company is not accredited. I’ll discuss these issues in more detail as we progress further in this review.

Who Uses WorldVentures?

The WorldVentures opportunity is designed for two types of people with one being those who love to travel and are looking for opportunities to save some money on their next trip.

The other type are people who are looking for opportunities for a side business and make some money to support their main income.

If you are someone who loves to travel but don’t want to pay a lot of money to do so, WorldVentures can help you with that.

You just need to be a member to gain access to various travel packages, as well as airfare discounts, spa discounts, and other travel benefits.

Once you are a member, you can also take advantage of the company’s MLM program, where you can earn profits, commissions, and bonuses.

You earn profits from directly selling the different travel packages the company offers. You can also earn from commissions after achieving certain sales targets.

As a member, you will be required to pay an initial startup fee. Then there will also be a monthly membership fee that you will need to cover.

I’ll discuss the registration process in more detail in the next section, as well as how you can make money with this opportunity.

How Do You Make Money with WorldVentures?

WorldVenture has an MLM opportunity to help its members make some money. You can earn from directly selling the travel packages the company is offering.

You can also earn commissions and bonuses whenever you and your team can achieve a certain sales target.

To start making money, you need to become a member of the company first. To join, you will need to have a sponsor,  their ID will be required when you are signing up.

If you don’t have one, you will need to contact the company first and they will provide you with more information on how to register.

If you do have a sponsor’s ID available, you will just need to choose which membership plan you will get. The cheapest is the DreamTrips membership and it will cost you $31.99 a month.

I’m not sure how much you will need to pay for the initial registration since it’s not mentioned, but research shows it will likely cost around $150 to $180. It has a variety of travel packages available regardless of your budget.

The DreamTips Gold membership cost $279.98 initially and you will pay $56.99 per month. The most expensive is the DreamTips Platinum membership, which costs $479.98 initially and $99.99 per month.

Both of these memberships provide more features like airport transfers, welcome receptions, and more. The Platinum membership gives access to the entire features and benefits WorldVentures offer.

So how do you make money with this MLM opportunity? The company has several bonuses and commissions that you can try to earn.

The first of which is the markup that you can earn for selling the travel packages that customers will be buying from you. You can also earn direct commissions whenever you are able to enroll new members into WorldVentures.

The company also has various bonuses like Lifestyle Bonus and Weekly Bonus. Lifestyle Bonus can pay from $200 to $900 a month if you meet the requirements, while Weekly Bonus can pay up to $100 a month.

There are also DreamCar Bonus and DreamHouse Bonus, but these two can only be received after you reach a certain rank in the company.

There’s also the Monthly Residual Commissions, but you need to achieve a rank of Senior Representative or higher to activate this bonus. Then you will need at least 4 direct Customer Sales.

This is the basic compensation plant that WorldVentures provide. If you are really interested in learning more, just click this link and it will take you to a summarized version of their plan.

As mentioned above, there are several issues with the opportunity that WorldVentures provide. One of the main issues with this company is the upfront cost of being a member.

Not only will you have to pay more than a $100 to gain the basic membership, but you also have to pay a $32 monthly fee for your membership and this is just the basic membership.

If you go with the Gold or Platinum, your monthly cost will increase. Yes, it is possible to earn enough to be able to cover the cost of the monthly fee.

But if you are familiar with MLM opportunities, you know that earning money with this type of opportunity is not really easy.

You are likely to lose more money than gain for a few months or more before you start earning enough to cover the cost.

Another issue I found with WorldVentures is that the compensation plan they have is not that easy to grasp. It’s also lacking in some details, like the percentage of the commissions you can earn.

Though I know some MLM do this so it will force people to talk to their members instead of just looking for information on the website, it would be best if the information they put on the site was complete.

There’s also issue with its BBB rating and none accreditation. The Better Business Bureau rated it a C+ because of the many complaints the company have received that they have failed to resolve.

It’s also not helping that the company has been involved in several lawsuits, mostly because of unpaid commissions. This is not a good sign for the company at all.

What I Like about WorldVentures

Now that we know what WorldVentures has to offer, it’s time to discuss what I like about this opportunity.

  • Probably the only thing that I like about WorldVentures is their travel search engine, which can really help people find the best travel packages available. This will help you find that ideal travel destination without costing you an arm and a leg.
  • I also like that their compensation plan focuses more on product movement than on recruitment. A lot of the commission plans they have will require that you achieve a certain number of customer sales to qualify.

What I Dislike about WorldVentures

Of course, not everything is good with WorldVentures, as there are a lot of things that I didn’t really like about this opportunity.

  • The first thing that I didn’t like about WorldVentures is that there’s a monthly fee that you will need to pay to remain a member. Though I understand why they need to add a monthly fee, I don’t necessarily agree with it because it will be an added expense to your operational cost. This means you will be pressured to make enough money just to break even with this opportunity.
  • I also didn’t like that the compensation plan of WorldVentures is a bit difficult to grasp and the information is not complete. Though some MLM companies do this so people will talk directly to a representative, it would have been better if all the information was available on the site and easy to understand. In this way, people who contact them will really be eager to join.
  • Another thing that I didn’t like is that you will have to contact WorldVentures first if you do plan on joining and you don’t have a sponsor ID. It would have been better if they assigned one that is near your area instead of going to the trouble of having contact them.
  • I’m also not a fan of their low BBB rating and the many lawsuits they faced against their members. This shows that the company is not really good at addressing issues and concerns to the point that lawsuits were filed.

Do I Recommend WorldVentures?

After learning more about WorldVentures and what they offer, I can say that it is an opportunity that I don’t really recommend.

Yes, the company might be able to help you out when it comes to looking for good deals on travel packages so you can take that vacation without spending a lot.

But they do fail as a money-making opportunity, especially now, where they are facing lawsuits from members because of unpaid commissions.

This is really not a good sign, because it means the company is having issues paying their members the commissions they earned.

Besides, if you’re familiar with MLM, you know how hard it is to make money from that opportunity. So if making money is what you are looking for, then you are better off finding a different opportunity.
