When it comes to making money answering surveys, a lot of the opportunities you find online will be geared towards asking about buying behavior, what you think of a product or service, and so on.

This is because most surveys are all about brands and businesses finding ways to improve their products and services, as well as the overall customer experience.

However, there are also websites out there that are offering unique surveys to people and paying them for it. One such site that will be the topic of this review is the Darwin’s Data survey site.

The unique thing about this site is that you will be asked questions regarding legal disputes. Yes, it is not the usual questions about your buying behavior or preference.

This site has questions about legal matters. You will be paid for each survey that you are able to complete. From the looks of it, it seems like you can likely earn about $25 a month or less with this opportunity.

But is this really a legitimate survey site that pays or is it just a scam?

Darwin’s Data is Legit and it Really Pays

Darwin’s Data is a legal research company that provides online surveys. They provide survey questions that are geared more towards getting opinions about legal disputes.

You will get paid a good amount for participating in one of the company’s surveys. From what I see and what a lot of people are saying, I can say that this opportunity is pretty much legitimate.

There have been no problems so far when it comes to receiving the payment after completing a survey. The main issue that people have, though, is that the opportunities to participate in surveys are very low.

As for the earnings, it seems likely for you to earn less than $25 since there are fewer opportunities to participate in a survey. I’ll be discussing this in more detail as we progress further with this review.

For Whom is Darwin’s Data Made For?

The Darwin’s Data survey site is made for two groups with one being lawyers and businesses who are looking for opinions about certain legal disputes.

The other groups would be people like you who are looking for ways to make some money online. For businesses and lawyers, the site provides them with an opportunity to get an unbiased opinion about certain legal disputes.

Darwin’s Data will provide their members with a description of the legal dispute before proceeding to the survey so they will have an idea about the dispute.

Members will then need to answer the questions in the survey, thus providing their opinions about the dispute. This allows lawyers and businesses to see if there are details they missed out regarding the dispute.

For people like you, Darwin’s Data provides you with an opportunity to earn money by participating in a study.

The company will pay you for each survey that you complete. To become a member you would need to be a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years old.

You would also need a valid Driver’s License or to be a registered voter. The surveys should also be completed on a desktop or laptop. In the next section, I’ll be discussing more how you can earn and register on the site.

How Do You Earn with Darwin’s Data?

Darwin’s Data offers only one way for you to earn and that is by answering and completing their surveys. They will pay you for each survey that you are able to complete and participate in.

To begin, you would need to be a member of this survey site first. The main requirements you would need to become a member is that you are a U.S. citizen at least 18 years old and have a Driver’s License.

Now becoming a member is not as simple as just registering or signing up via their website. You would need to be invited in order to become a member.

The website has a Request an Invite tab, where you would provide your full name, an email, your home address, and your birthdate.

Once you’ve completed the details, you will just need to wait for the company to send you an email that says that you are a member.

This process can take days or even weeks, depending on the volume of people requesting for an invite. Once you get accepted, you will need to complete an online profile.

The process will take about 30 minutes or more. But no need to worry as the company will reward you for completing your profile.

You will get a $10 Tango card for your trouble. Now Tango Cards are basically cards that allow you to send or receive various gift cards.

The amount you have there can be redeemed for different gift cards or be donated to non-profit organizations. After completing your profile you are now eligible to receive survey invites.

Once you receive a survey invite, you will need to act quickly since there’s a limit to the number of people that can participate in a particular survey.

So this is how the survey will work, you will first be required to watch an online video that will describe the legal dispute.

Once you are done watching the video, you will be given a set of questions to answer. The survey will basically be asking for your opinion about the legal dispute you just watched.

Once you have completed that, you will be getting a $25 Tango card. The process of watching the video and answering the survey will take about 1 hour to complete.

Now, Darwin’s Data did not mention how many surveys you will be getting. They only said that you will receive one as often as they have a survey that will fit your profile.

Research shows that people usually get 2 to 4 surveys a year, so that is likely the number of surveys you can expect from the company.

But there have been complaints lately, though, that the site has stopped sending surveys. These members experienced getting 2 to 3 surveys a year for 1 to 2 years. Then after that, they stopped getting anything from Darwin’s Data. Some have been waiting for an invite for a year, while others have been waiting for more than 2 years.

I’m not really sure why this is the case, but I’m guessing that the company has too many members that they are having a hard time providing surveys for each one of them.

This is just a theory of mine, but this is the most logical explanation I can think of as to why some members stopped receiving survey invites.

What is Good about Darwin’s Data

Now that we know more about Darwin’s Data and how it works, it’s time to talk about what is good with this opportunity.

The first thing that I liked about Darwin’s Data is that the pay for completing a survey is high. Getting paid $25 per survey is relatively high compared to a lot of other survey sites out there, so you will really get compensated for your time and effort here.

I also like that Darwin’s Data will be rewarding you just for completing your profile. Not all survey sites will pay its members just for completing their profiles, so this is a welcome bonus.

What is Bad about Darwin’s Data

Of course, not everything is good with Darwin’s Data, as there are also things that the company could improve upon.

The first bad thing about Darwin’s Data is that you need to get invited first before you are able to register. This means that you can’t just register anytime you want since you will first need the company to invite you in order to become a member.

I also consider it a bad thing that Darwin’s Data doesn’t pay you in cash. Now there’s nothing wrong with getting Tango cards for your effort, but I just prefer to get paid in cash instead of gift cards.

I also didn’t like that you will likely only get invited to participate in a few surveys a year. This means that the high payment they provide you is negated by the very low number of survey invites you will receive. It’s likely that the company will have 2 to 3 surveys available a year. But there’s also the possibility that you might not even get invited to participate in one survey.

Is Darwin’s Data to be Recommended?

After learning more about Darwin’s Data and what they are offering, I can say it is an opportunity that you can check out, but don’t expect a lot from it.

I don’t really recommend this opportunity because of its low-income potential. You will likely only get 2 to 3 surveys a year, sometimes even less than that.

The lack of a consistent source of income makes it hard to look at this opportunity as a viable option as a side hustle.

You can still check out Darwin’s Data if you want, especially if you are not looking for an opportunity that provides consistent earnings.

If you just want a site or company that provides an opportunity to make money once in a while, then this survey site fits the bill.
