OpinionWorld Review: Legit Rewards Site Or Scam?

One of the most common opportunities you can find online when it comes to making money is answering surveys.

Typing making money online on the search engine will yield hundreds of websites that offer surveys as their main, or at least, one of the opportunities they have to make money.

But with so many websites to choose from, it’s hard to determine which available websites are a legitimate opportunity that is also worth your time and effort.

To help you with that, we review money making websites to see if they are worthy or just a waste of time. In this review, we will discuss a site called OpinionWorld.

It’s a website that offers people an opportunity to earn rewards just for answering surveys. The site will pay you in points for each survey that you are able to complete.

The points you earn can be redeemed for various rewards that the site offers. You would just need to reach the minimum point requirement to be able to redeem them for rewards.

The value of the rewards you can earn will depend on how many surveys you will be able to complete. But from the looks of it, you can likely expect to earn about $5 to $20 a month with this opportunity.

But is OpinionWorld really a legitimate survey site to earn rewards or is it just a scam that you need to avoid?

OpinionWorld is a Legit Opportunity To Earn Rewards

OpinionWorld is an online market panel that offers people an opportunity to earn rewards just for answering surveys.

The site uses the data they get from surveys to help industry leaders make educated decisions and improve their products and services.

The site will pay you in points for each survey that you complete. The points you earn can be redeemed for various rewards once you have reached the minimum withdrawal requirement.

From what I’ve seen so far, OpinionWorld is a legit opportunity for people to earn rewards. The site does provide paid surveys that will pay you in points every time you complete one.

The site also delivers the rewards that the members have earned once they have requested it. Despite being a legit opportunity, there are still some issues with OpinionWorld.

There have been several complaints about the site terminating accounts, especially when you try to redeem the points you have earned.

There have also been some complaints about the site not providing enough paid surveys. I’ll discuss these issues in more detail as we progress further in this review.

Who Uses OpinionWorld?

The OpinionWorld website is designed to be used by two groups of people with one group being businesses and organizations who are looking to make the right decisions and improve what they have to offer.

The other group are people like you who are looking for opportunities to earn rewards online.

For businesses and organizations, the site offers an opportunity to gain insights and information from various consumers.

The information and insights they gain can be used to help them make better decisions, especially when it comes to improving the products and services they offer.

For people like you, OpinionWorld provides an opportunity to earn rewards just by participating in surveys. The site pays in points, which you can redeem for different rewards once you have reached the number of points needed.

It’s easy and free to become a member of this survey site. You just need to be a resident of the country that they are serving in and at least 18 years old to be able to register.

In the next section, I’ll discuss more about the registration process, as well as how you can earn with OpinionWorld.

How Do You Earn Rewards with OpinionWorld?

There is only one way to earn rewards in OpinionWorld and that is by answering the surveys that the site will send you.

You will be paid in points for each survey you are able to complete. The points you earn can be redeemed for different rewards, once you have reached the minimum points needed to get the reward.

To begin, you would first need to be a member of OpinionWorld. It’s free and easy to register, as you only need to provide your name, gender, and email address.

After verifying your email address, you will then be required to complete your profile. It’s important that you completely answer all these questions, as the site will send you survey invites based on your profile.

Now, OpinionWorld sends two types of surveys. One is the paid survey, where you get a chance to earn points for completing them. The other type is the charity survey.

Paid surveys are the ones in which you will be able to earn points for completing them. The site pays about 50 to 300 points for each paid survey you complete.

The charity surveys, on the other hand, won’t be paying you in any points, as the site will instead donate money to charity every time you complete one of these surveys.

This is actually what some members are complaining about, which is the lack of paid surveys. The site will send charity surveys almost on a daily basis, while paid surveys will be sent once a week or once a month.

What’s worse about this is that you will still be required to answer qualifying questions. This means that there’s a big possibility that you might not even get to participate in the paid survey because you may get disqualified.

There’s really nothing you can do about this except to always keep your profile updated. The site will send you surveys based on your profile.

So always keeping them updated might increase your chance of getting more paid surveys. There is a consolation prize though, as participating in surveys will automatically enter you into the site’s quarterly prize draw.

The prize is $10,000, so it’s going to be a big payout if you are lucky enough to be the one who wins.

The points you earn can be exchanged for various rewards. You can exchange it for cash, which the site will pay via PayPal. You can also redeem them for Amazon gift cards or use them at the site’s WebShop, where you can exchange your points for items.

The site has multiple brands available in their WebShop. To be able to redeem your points, you will need to reach 1,000 points first, which is equal to $10.

Now, there have been a lot of complaints about the site suddenly terminating a member’s account, especially after requesting to redeem the points earned. What’s worse is that contacting the site’s customer support did little to solve the issue.

The reason that a site may terminate a member’s account is usually because they have violated the terms and conditions of the site.

I would like to think that the members complaining really did violate OpinionWorld’s Terms and Conditions, which is why their accounts were terminated.

But as there seems to be a lot of complaints, it’s hard not to be suspicious about this issue. What’s more, the issue usually happens when a member tries to redeem points.

It seems like the site is just finding an excuse not to pay their members. Hopefully, this is an issue that can be resolved soon.

What I Liked about OpinionWorld

Now that we know more about OpinionWorld and what they offer, it’s time to discuss what I liked about this opportunity.

  • The first thing that I liked about OpinionWorld is that the site has a low withdrawal threshold. You only need to reach 1,000 points or $10 to be able to withdraw your money. This means that you won’t have to wait that long to be able to reach the minimum points needed in order to redeem them for rewards.
  • I also like that OpinionWorld offers several reward options to choose from. You can redeem your points for cash, gift cards, or items from their WebShop. This is great since there are certain people who prefer to get paid in cash, while there are also certain people who prefer to get gift cards.
  • It’s also good that it is free and easy to be a member of OpinionWorld. I also like that the opportunity is available in several countries, allowing a lot of people to join this opportunity.

What I Disliked about OpinionWorld

Of course, not everything is good with OpinionWorld, as there are also things that I didn’t really like about the opportunity.

  • The first thing that I didn’t like about OpinionWorld is that they don’t provide a lot of paid survey opportunities. The site will have a lot of surveys for you to answer, but most of them are just the charity surveys. You can only expect to get one paid survey a week or one paid survey a month, which makes this a low-income opportunity.
  • I also didn’t like that there are a lot of complaints coming from members about the site terminating their accounts. The bad thing about this is that this issue usually occurs when a member is requesting for a withdrawal of their points.
  • I also dislike the fact that OpinionWorld’s customer support is very bad. A lot of members are complaining that the support doesn’t really provide them with any solutions to their issues or inquiries. Some are even complaining that they are only getting generic responses.

Is OpinionWorld to Be Recommended?

After learning more about what OpinionWorld is and what they are bringing to the table, I can say that it is an opportunity that I don’t really recommend.

The site only has a limited number of paid surveys available, which means earning more than $10 a month with this opportunity is close to impossible.

Heck, you should even consider yourself lucky if you are able to reach the $10 amount in one month. But the main reason I don’t recommend this is the fact that the site seems to terminate members’ accounts.

Not only is terminating an account bad, but the fact is that they usually do this when a member requests their points to be redeemed for rewards .

It’s like the site doesn’t want to pay their members, so they decide to just terminate their account and say they violated Terms and Conditions.

So if you come across OpinionWorld and you think it’s a good survey site to join, think again. You will just be wasting your time and effort with this opportunity.

There are a lot of better money-making opportunities out there than what OpinionWorld can offer.

1 thought on “OpinionWorld Review: Legit Rewards Site Or Scam?”

  1. After spending considerable time completing surveys from Opinion World, I made over 1000 points and tried to redeem them. Strangely my account was terminated allegedly I violated terms and conditions of company. It is strange they terminated just when to attempted to redeem my points. I contacted to help desk and after nearly 10 days I was told I violated their terms. This is a SCAM company.
My concern is the other people who may rely on this company.
NEVER EVER TRUST IT! IT IS A SCAMMER!
