AVA Anderson is yet another network marketing company that specializes in the beauty niche; skin-care, soaps, lotions, shampoo, etc.

The company has been around for a long time and a lot of people who are interested in promoting a network marketing company are wondering if this opportunity is a scam.

Well, that’s where this review comes into the picture.

In this AVA Anderson review, we’ll analyze the opportunity and see how it holds up compared to our favorite programs. If you were considering signing up and promoting this company, this review will share the details that are not publicly advertised on the leaflets and sales pages.

Network marketing is not necessarily illegal, as I mentioned in other articles, there are plenty of decent and reputable network marketing companies.

The problem is that there are also thousands of network marketing scams too and it will benefit you to know how to avoid them in order to save cash and spend your time on opportunities that will deliver the desired results.

Note: It seems like the company is in a transitional phase and is a couple of months away from transitioning into a new company without the Anderson family, a message was sent out to customers and distributors with the update. It’s unclear what the new company will be called but when I find out I’ll update this article as needed.

What is AVA Anderson?

The idea was to create a brand of health products that are non-toxic and completely organic. The company values natural ingredients and does it’s best to stick to 100% natural ingredients. Except, there was a problem, and I’ll discuss the problem later on in this article.

So, it’s another multi-level marketing company that is based on the promotion of health products. What brought most people to this company was the business opportunity, a chance to become an independent distributor, or a consultant (as the company prefers to call them).

The idea is to sign-up as a consultant and then start selling the products to anyone who is interested, earning a commission on the side. Like most MLM companies, there’s a point system in place, and many bonuses to encourage marketers to continue promoting the products.

As usual, there’s the option to earn a percentage of your team’s total commissions in bonus, so the objective is to recruit as many new people as possible.

What I Didn’t Like:

For starters, none of the products have been certified, and the company is not even on the Better Business Bureau. It seems like whenever you ask a sales rep about the company’s certifications you’re ignored and never given a straight answer. It seems strange.

Secondly, as mentioned at the beginning of this article, the company wasn’t even aware of the ingredients in their products until many years later. I thought this was a little unnerving because they claim to be completely dedicated to providing organic and toxic free products, when in reality, the products are full of the same artificial ingredients as other products.

It seems that the news caught up to the company (finally) and they decided to shut-down and transition into a different company, as I mentioned at the beginning of this article. I believe that’s why the company is moving because they finally realized that they haven’t been living up to their promises and they have been, essentially, lying to customers this entire time.

The Business Opportunity:

The part that you have been waiting for!

The business opportunity is rather simple, all you have to do is purchase a Business Starter Kit ($99) and you’ll be able to start taking advantage of the company’s compensation plan.

There are a few different ways to make money with the opportunity.

The most popular method is to simply sell the product directly, door-to-door, online, etc. The Business Kit includes some flyers and other promotional materials that you can use to not only sell products but recruit new members as well.

The commissions are not bad.

You’ll receive in-between 30% and 50% in commissions, the rate increases depending on your level within the company, this level increases depending on your total points.

It’s also important to remember that this is direct sales; physical products that you have to sell. This creates a problem for people who are not born salesmen (which is most people).

You’re told to promote the products by hosting “Parties” which are essentially home-meetings where you share details about your products and advertise them to your friends and loved ones.

Of course, this “Parties” are not the most effective way to make sales.

What I Liked:

I did like that you don’t have to pay so much to become a sales rep; it’s relatively cheap and there’s no monthly fee. There’s only a one-time payment and that includes most of what you need to get started selling the products.

I don’t believe that you’ll make a lot of money promoting this company because you’ll have to continue ordering stock and selling them to people; it can be a bit of a hassle.

I also liked how the opportunity wasn’t coated with sickly-sweet hype. It’s all rather casual, there’s no high pressure sales tactics to convince you to join and no unrealistic income claims. I like companies that don’t try to blow their opportunity out of proportion, into dangerously unrealistic territory.

Conclusion:

All in all, I don’t think this company is a scam, but I don’t think you’ll be able to make much cash, either.

You can feel free to sign-up and test it out but it’s not an opportunity that I would use.

In a nutshell, if you want to make your own money, than it’s best to be in control of every aspect of your business, instead of depending on other people to guide you on the path to riches.

I recommend that you learn how to market online and how to create your own website because the benefits of working online are incredible.
