Welcome to my LifeVantage 3rd party review!

There are a few things that we need to take care of before we get started with the review.

The best thing about being a 3rd party review is that I have absolutely ZERO affiliation with the companies I review.

I have always been a firm believer in research when it comes to finding a job.

This is no different because you deserve to know all of the things that MLMs do not tell you.

You see, all MLMs leave out a lot of valuable information because they want you to ignore the bad things and focus on the fact that you could possibly make some money.

This is where I come into the equation.

I look at other reviews, focus on testimonies of affiliates and customers and write about the things that are left out.

By creating an overview of LifeVantage and then focus on the products and compensation plan, you can start to see the bigger picture.

I end the review with a Better Business Bureau (BBB) analysis and a list of red flags that you need to consider before making a final decision.

LifeVantage Overview – What is the Company?

Leadership in a company is often overlooked but it is the most important aspect of any successful business.

Let’s take a look at the leadership that LifeVantage has posted on their website to see what we are working with.

Ok, that is a lot of name that almost no one has heard of unless you have been in the MLM circle for a long time.

This is a lot of experienced leadership and you would think success is the only step forward.

Let’s take a look at other aspects of the company that may be overlooked.

LifeVantage has proclaimed to be the leader in NRF2 science which is just a long winded way of saying that they are backed by scientists that are paid to agree with the company’s product claims.

I know this sounds harsh but you have to call it like you see it.

LifeVantage is part of the health and wellness niche MLM which has a product line that has some pretty outlandish claims.

Here is one claim that LifeVantage makes about Protandim Nrf2: “Protandim significantly reduces cellular stress through Nrf2 activation.”

I understand that some people may look at that and say, WOW.

However, 99.9% of the people you try to sell this to are going to look at you as if you are speaking a foreign language.

Why would I trust a salesperson about science?

Shouldn’t a professional be explaining this to me if it is based on sound scientific studies?

I am already skeptical and we just got started with the review.

Let’s take a look at the product line.

First, I would like to link the LifeVantage Product Line so that you can take a look at it for yourself.

After you take a look at the product line I hope you take the time to look at the bold claims they make.

At this point I think it is time to link some comments that should make your eyebrows raise.

This first comment reveals that the biggest fraud in the push for pseudoscience based nutrition, Dr. Oz pushed this product.

Look, some people may claim to see or feel improvements but it is nothing more than a placebo effect.

I think this person is on to something.

The sale of “snake oil” scams has been around for a long time.

This person is saying that if you support one, then by premise, you support all of them.

Look, I know that some people might be in desperate need for a fix-all to medical or other health needs but dumping your money into fake scientific studies is not the answer.

You would be better off going to a doctor and find a more practical way of dealing with the issue.

At any rate, let’s take a look at the compensation plan.

Ok, I have a bit of good news here with LifeVantage.

Here is the best way to look at MLMs including this one.

The definition of a legitimate business is when a company earns revenue from people that are not affiliated with the company.

Since all MLMs require some sort of Personal Volume to stay active, i.e. making revenue from affiliates, it is not acting legitimately.

This is where you can start to argue that it is a pyramid scheme.

Now this does not mean it is a scam but let’s take a look at simple math.

All MLMs require recruiting in order to make any kind of serious income.

If you are required to recruit 5 people in order to reach a certain rank, you will run out of people on the planet to recruit after the 14th level.

No I’m serious check it out.

See, you can’t go past tier 14 because you surpass the number of people on earth.

This is something that a MLM will never tell you. You have the right to know these things.

If you compound this information with the Earnings Income Statement you get to see what MLMs including LifeVantage are all about.

It’s time for the BBB information, let’s take a look it.

Better Business Bureau (BBB)

First and foremost, the grade is not that great to be honest.

The MLM is not accredited with BBB and they only have a B-, which is average at best.

Let’s take a look at a few comments or reviews that are both positive and negative for the sake of objectivity.

This person is really happy with the quality of the products and this is something that people even give their pets.

I am a little wary of the person making the comment because it seems like some sort of affiliate of the company but hey, I have been wrong before.

On the other hand, the product has clearly helped them so it goes to show that results vary.

This comment is really disturbing on so many levels.

According to this person, the LifeVantage personnel put together a conference in Florida during a category 4 hurricane and they downplayed the dangers in hopes of making money.

Now, this does not mean that the leaders of the company agree with these tactics or even tolerate them, but what the heck is going on here.

The other thing that bothers me is that the people that were put in danger were obviously elders.

I have no problem with people trying to make an honest buck.

But to put people’s lives in danger is unacceptable.

I was unable to find any public statement by LifeVantage about this particular situation but in my opinion, the company has lost all credibility.

The Final Verdict

I usually do not recommend MLMs for anyone because they are almost impossible to successful with.

Only a few people make all the money and newbies are left with what little table scraps are left over.
On that note, I am officially going on the record by recommending all people stay away from this company for so many reasons.

There are so many other business opportunities out there.

There are also a few things you can do to increase your success chances with an online business.

You should recognize that recruitment schemes are a waste of time for 99% of people.

Next, you should try to invest time into a training program so that you start improving your skill set.

There are so many great online training programs that set you up for success.

Finding the right training program is not easy but when you find it, you will have the skills needed to create your own business.

There will be no need to rely on a downline associated with MLMs because you are making money your way.
