PopulusLive Review: Legit Survey Site Or Scam?

When it comes to making money online, no other opportunity comes close to being as common as answering surveys.

There are a lot of websites out there that are offering surveys as an opportunity, or at least, one of the opportunities they have to make money online.

And that number will continue to increase, as more new survey sites are popping up year after year. It is important to note, though, that not all of these survey sites are legitimate.

There are also a lot of them that turn out to be a scam. There are also a lot of legit survey sites that turn out to be a waste of time and effort.

But with so many options out there, it’s actually a challenge to try each one of them and see which you should be sticking with and which ones to avoid.

To make it easier for you, we conduct reviews of these money-making websites to identify which among them are legitimate and is actually worthy of your time and effort.

For this review, we’ll be talking about a site called PopulusLive. It’s a survey site that offers people an opportunity to make money online just by answering surveys.

The site pays in points for every survey you complete. The points you earn can be withdrawn for cash once you reach the minimum withdrawal amount.

From the looks of it, you are likely to earn about £10 to £20 per month with this opportunity. But is PopulusLive really a legit survey site that pays or is it another scam?

PopulusLive is a Legitimate Survey Site that Really Pays

PopulusLive is an online research panel that provides its members with an opportunity to make money just for answering surveys.

The site will pay in points, which you can withdraw for cash, once you have reached the minimum cash out requirement.

Based on what I’ve learned about the site so far, I can say that it is a legitimate opportunity. The site does provide its members with paid surveys.

There have also been little to no issues at all when it comes to the earnings, as well as withdrawing those earnings.

There is, however, some concerns coming from members. The concerns are mostly about the lack of survey opportunities and the frequency of being screened out.

I’ll be discussing these issues in more detail as we progress further in this review. I’ll also discuss why you can only expect to earn about £10 to £20 a month with PopulusLive.

Who Uses PopulusLive?

The PopulusLive website is designed for two groups of people with one group being people like you who are looking for opportunities to make money online.

The other group are businesses and organizations who are looking to gather relevant data and information to help them make better decisions to improve their respective businesses.

As clients of PopulusLive, the site offers an opportunity for businesses to learn what people are thinking about or their opinions about a certain topic, product, or brand.

The site is able to do this through the surveys they conduct which their community of panelists are more than willing to answer.

To ensure that responses are good quality and genuine, PopulusLive places verification questions randomly in the survey to see if members are really reading the questions before they click an answer.

For people like you, the site offers an opportunity to make money online just by answering surveys and sharing your opinions.

The site will pay you in points, which can be withdrawn for cash once the minimum cash out requirement has been met.

It is easy and free to be a member of PopulusLive and you just need to be a permanent resident of the United Kingdom and at least 16 years old to be able to register.

In the next section, I’ll discuss in more detail the registration process, as well as how you can earn with this website.

How Do You Make Money with PopulusLive?

PopulusLive offers only one opportunity to make money and that is by participating in the surveys that they will invite you to.

The site will pay you in points for each survey that you are able to complete. The points you earn can be withdrawn for cash, once you have reached the minimum amount needed to cash them out.

To begin making money on this site, you would first need to become a member. Joining is simple and easy, as you only need to provide your name, an email address, a username, and password.

You also need to provide your birth date, gender, and zip code to complete your registration. After clicking register, you will need to fill out your demographic profile.

The profile will help PopulusLive to determine what kind of survey invites they will email you. Once done, you just need to wait for invites to come via your email.

The email invitation you will get will provide you with details like how much you can expect to receive after you complete the survey and how long it will take you to complete.

The site pays in points and 1 point is equivalent to £1. PopulusLive said that you can expect to earn £1 for a 5-minute survey.

So if the survey takes 10 minutes, you can expect to earn £2, and so on. The site has been fairly accurate with regards to this information.

Now, like with most survey sites, PopulusLive also has a screening process, where you will be required to answer certain questions first to determine if you really are the right person to be answering the survey.

There will be times you will be screened out when you are already in the middle of answering a survey. This means that the response needed for the survey has been filled already.

If you get screened out, you won’t get paid anything. As a consolation, the site will enter you into their monthly draw for a chance to win £250.

If you do qualify, you get to earn points. Now the points you earn can be withdrawn once you reach 50 points or £50.

PopulusLive sends payments via check sent at the end of every month. You can expect to receive your check within two weeks after they have sent it.

Now as mentioned above, there have been complaints about the number of surveys invites the site has been sending and the frequency of getting screened out.

These issues are not new as this is a problem with a lot of survey sites. The concerning part with PopulusLive is that the people who complained said that they never experienced this problem before on this site.

The site used to have adequate opportunities and being screened out was not common. This issue is actually a problem that a lot of legit sites are experiencing.

It seems like they are okay at first, allowing members to cash out several times, then survey invites would start to drop and disqualification rate starts to go up.

There’s really nothing you can do about this, considering survey invites will depend greatly on your demographic and the available surveys the site has.

What you can do is just to be patient and wait for more survey opportunities for you.

What is Good about PopulusLive

Now that we have learned a bit about PopulusLive and what they are offering, it’s time to discuss what is good with this opportunity.

  • The first good thing about PopulusLive is that it is a genuine opportunity. The site is really legit and the complaints you hear about them doesn’t involve payment issues. It’s actually not that easy to find genuinely legitimate money-making sites, as a lot of them turn out to be a scam in the end, as payments start to become delayed or they don’t pay at all. So it’s a big plus to see if a site is genuinely legit.
  • It’s also a good thing that it is easy and simple to use PopulusLive. Everything here is straightforward, from the registration process all the way to the survey invites you get. There are no hidden information or complicated instructions. The site will provide all the necessary details outright to make it easier for you to understand it.

What is Bad about PopulusLive

Of course, there are also bad things about PopulusLive, which I’ll be discussing in this section of the review.

  • The first bad thing about PopulusLive is that it has a high cash out requirement. You can only get your money after reaching 50 points or £50, which could take you about 3 to 5 months to achieve. This is a long wait just to be able to withdraw your earnings from the website.
  • I also consider it a bad thing that there have been complaints about the limited survey invites that PopulusLive sends out and the frequency of getting screened out. With a high minimum cashout requirement, these two issues will have a big impact on whether you will be able to withdraw earlier or longer. So it’s a negative outlook to see members having these two complaints.

Do I Recommend PopulusLive?

After learning more about what PopulusLive is and what they are offering, I can say that it is an opportunity that is worth checking out.

I do have issues with the site’s high cash out requirement and the limited surveys available, as well as the high frequency of being screened out.

However, I also recognize the site’s upsides, as well as the many positive reviews people have with it. The limited surveys available and high frequency of being screened out is a nuisance.

But they are issues that all survey sites experience. This means that survey sites are not really an opportunity that you should be looking at if getting rich or replacing your day job is your goal.

But if you are only looking for opportunities to earn extra income online, then PopulusLive can likely help you with that.

So I recommend you check this opportunity out and see for yourself if it is something that is worth your time and effort.

Just remember, don’t expect to get rich from this site, as you will only be setting yourself up for disappointment.
