Welcome to my 3rd party review of Ruby Ribbon!

Have you noticed the increase in hype of Ruby Ribbon lately?

That is probably why are you here.

You may have heard about it from a friend/family or saw an advertisement on one of the many social media platforms.

Either way, you are doing the right thing because you have decided to do research before you jump in head first.

That is always a good decision because you have no idea which MLMs are legit and which are pyramids.

Since I am a 3rd party reviewer, I am not affiliated with the company at all.

My goal is to provide you with all of the necessary information in order to make an informed decision.

The one question that my review will answer is if Ruby Ribbon is legit or a scam?

Another question you should be asking yourself is if Ruby Ribbon is holding up to all of their promises.

My reviews consist of an evaluation of the company’s website, a company overview, list of products and an analysis of the compensation plan.

This is usually enough information for people to make a decision but sometimes a list of red flags is needed.

Let’s see if Red Ribbon is a legit business or nothing but hype.

The Ruby Ribbon Website

One of the first things you should do when evaluating an online business is to check out their website.

Here are a few things you should ask yourself:

• Is the site easy to navigate?
• Is there an “About Us” and “Team” section?
• Does it have prices and a detailed list of products?
• Does it have compensation plan and/or earnings statement available?

These seem like basic questions but you have no idea how many MLMs fail at meeting the basic requirements of a legit company.

My opinion on the matter is simple; if you want me to become a member, you have to provide me with enough information.

It is refreshing to see Ruby Ribbon meets many if not all of my expectations in regards to the quality of their website.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not the best website I’ve seen but you can navigate easily and they let the products do all of the talking; more on that later.

Ruby Ribbon Overview – What is the Company?

Since you are reading this review, I can assume that you are interested in Ruby Ribbon’s membership program.

There is no doubt about the popularity of Ruby Ribbon but what makes it work so well.

The leadership team may have something to do with it. Let’s take a look at the team.

Anna founded Ruby in 2011.

This isn’t her only success.

She is affiliated with several other companies including Trulioo.com, Motista, Inc, Glam.com, and Chloe & Isabel.

This is the kind of information we are looking for when considering an MLM.

I want to know who the founder is and how successful they have been in the past.

Ok, so now you know who the key players are, let’s take a brief look at the products.

Ruby Ribbon Products

The Ruby Ribbon product line seems to focus on women’s clothing which may limit their customer base.

However, it also allows them to focus all of their energy on quality products and customer relationships.

This is priceless and may be one of the reasons it is so hard to find any complaint forums or scam warnings.

That doesn’t mean they don’t exist but Ruby seems to have a pretty clean record and takes care of their customers which is all you can really ask for.

Let’s take a look at some of the products.

You can either shop by Collection or Category which makes the product line easier to go through.

The image above is from the Fall 2016 collection.

The prices range from $20.30 – $129. I would also like to mention the fact that most of the products can be purchased for all sizes which range from XS-XXXL.

The reason I mention this is because I have done a few other reviews on clothing MLMs and choosing a size wasn’t even an option.

But you don’t have to worry about that here, so happy hunting.

I would like to make a comment about how modern or stylish the clothes are but I am in no way a fashionisto.

Let’s take a look at the compensation plan now.

Ruby Ribbon Compensation Plan

I really like providing my readers with the PDF version but the website has all the information you need, so here is the Ruby Comp Plan.

These are the highlights of the plan:

• Earn up to 40% on your personal sales.
• Increase your income with the first person you recruit, up to 3 generations.
• Anyone can reach the Senior Director rank.
• Unlimited product credits with Fast Start program
• Seasonal incentives for new products

Here are a few charts that you should read and make sure you understand because they include all of the requirements that go along with the rank and earnings structure.

There are two major requirements you need to pay attention to here.

The first the fact that you need to sell at least $300/month.

The second is that you need to remain at that level of monthly sales for at least 3 consecutive months.

This may seem like peanuts but most members do not reach these requirements.

My only hope here is that Ruby would post their Income Disclosure Statement so we could see how many of their members fail to reach the requirements.

It is a real eye opener I am sure. Anyway, here is the second chart you need to look at.

There is nothing really surprising or out of the ordinary here.

I am a little disappointed that you can only go up to 4 generations but the vast majority of people don’t even reach that so there is no room for complaining here.

I would also like to point out that the Leader level is a 2 month long process which you need to know before you get started.

Let’s take a look at some of the other key areas of the business like their policies.

Ruby Ribbon Return Policy

To my surprise, Ruby has a 30 DAY RETURN POLICY and a 30 DAY EXCHANGE POLICY.

The reason why I am surprised is that nearly all of the MLMs I review have a return policy of less than 14 days.

I will show you the exact policies in the image below.

Ruby even laid out a step by step process and all contact info needed to conduct a return or exchange.

I may have said this before but it appears that Ruby really cares about their customers.

They even provided a neat little chart for all of the shipping costs if you want to exchange or return an item.

This about wraps up this section. Let’s take a look at look at my final verdict of Ruby Ribbon.

The Final Verdict

Make no mistake about it, when you are dealing with MLMs you are going to hear some negative comments no matter how good your company is.

I am sure after reading this review you have already come to a conclusion.

With that being said, there is no way that Ruby Ribbon is a scam but the problem still lies with the fact you have to recruit to make any significant income.

This is of course unless you are able to start your own fashion boutique which is a massive investment.

Like I said, you need to recruit and not many people know how to do it.

This is a lost art when it comes to MLMs so newbies have a hard time settling in and most of them fail before they even get started.

Although I could never recommend an MLM to anyone, I will say that at this point, Ruby Ribbon has a clean record and they are doing many things right.

I still ask myself, why don’t more people create their own online business rather than relying on online business opportunities like an MLM.

There are so many risks involved with MLMs.

If you have no idea where to start with your own online business you should try and find a training program that helps you out.
