What is AppBounty
AppBounty is a mobile app that allows people to earn credits every time they download an app and try them out. People can also earn credits by completing certain tasks and inviting friends to sign up.
The credits can then be exchanged for gift cards that people can use in Amazon, in iTunes Stores, and in Google Play. The credits can also be exchanged for Xbox Live and PS Network points.
People would just need to earn enough credits to reach the minimum cash-out to be able to exchange it for gift cards or points.
AppBounty can be downloaded for free in the Apple Store and in Google Play. People would just need to become a member and start downloading and trying out the featured apps to earn credits.
Who Uses AppBounty
Anybody can use the AppBounty but the main types of people who use it are the people who are looking to earn and the app developers and ad networks who are looking to promote the apps that they have.
For developers and ad networks, AppBounty gives them an opportunity to get their app downloaded and tested by people.
Since the company requires that their members download the app and test it out for at least 30 seconds, developers are assured that people will really be downloading and using their app.
This is a good opportunity for them to test out new apps before they actually launch it to see how people are reacting to it. Now the other type of users who visit the app are those who are looking to earn.
They can also be divided into two, the members who download and test out the app, and those who want to be media partners.
The members are basically the users who download and test out the apps that developers and ad networks promote in AppBounty. The company pays them with credits that they can exchange for gift cards and points.
The media partners, on the other hand, are like premium members. AppBounty is offering more perks to people who are considered social influencers, like allowing their credits to be converted into cash.
Media partners are also considered a priority account, which means they get their own personalized code. And AppBounty provides them with giveaways they can use to help promote the app.
Plus, the company is promoting the best videos made by their media partner in the AppBounty social media channels. This also helps increase the audience of the media partner.
The company, though, requires that their media partners will have at least 10,000 subscribers and are regularly making videos to become a partner.
The media partner will have to create a promotional video about AppBounty, upload in their own YouTube channel and incorporate their personalized link in the description to direct people to sign up.
Every sign-up will earn the media partner credits that they can convert to cash.

How People Can Earn In AppBounty
The main way people earn credits is through the downloading and using apps that are featured in AppBounty. Developers and ad networks pay the company money every time someone uses the app.
AppBounty shares that payment to its members in the form of credit they can exchange for items. It is important that people download the featured app through AppBounty and not in Apple Store or Google Play.
The reason for this is that the company sends a signal to the developers to tell them that their member has at least used the app for 30 seconds. So if people open the app outside AppBounty, the company won’t detect the app’s usage.
Aside from downloading and using apps, members can also earn credits by completing certain tasks.
It is somewhat similar to downloading and using the apps, but this time the member will have to complete a task within the app to earn credits.
Lastly, AppBounty also has a referral program, allowing members to earn credits if they are successful in getting their friends or other people to sign up as well.
Members will be given an invite code that they will share with people when they are signing up to AppBounty. Each successful sign up will earn the member 250 credits, while the new member who used the code will get 50 credits.
Similarly, media partners also earn through referral. Using their personalized link, they will also be getting 250 credits for every successful sign-up. Unlike regular members, media partners can convert their credits to cash.
Each 250 credit that media partners earn is equivalent to $0.50. The partner can cash in once he or she already has 25000 credits or $50. AppBounty pays via PayPal.
For members, they won’t get paid in cash, but they can convert their credits to gift cards that they can use in Amazon, iTunes, and Google Play, or points to be used in Xbox Live or PS Network.
The lowest gift card members can redeem is the Amazon gift card worth $5. They will need 2,500 points to get the Amazon gift card.
But honestly, if you really want to make money online, then, I recommend this program.

What I Like about AppBounty
Now that we have an idea of AppBounty is, it is time to discuss what I liked about AppBounty.
- It is not hard to become a member of AppBounty, as people will just have to input their full name and email address to be a member. They can also opt to sign in via their Twitter or Facebook account for an easier sign-up.
- Earning credits is simple and easy, as you would just need to download an app and use it just once to earn credit. You can also choose to complete a task and refer people to earn more credits.
- It is free to use, as AppBounty doesn’t charge anything for people to become a member or to download their app.
- Probably the most important thing I like about them is they really pay their members the credits they earned after completing a task or downloading and using an app.
What I Dislike about AppBounty
Of course, there are also things about the app that I did not like, which will be discussed below.
- The tasks and offers are limited, especially if you are in a particular country. This makes it harder for you to quickly earn credits unless you’ll focus more on the referral program.
- The income potential is very low as the credits being paid are not that high. A lot of the apps to be downloaded pay from 75 to 200 credits and the lowest reward people can redeem is an Amazon gift card worth $5, which won’t make anyone rich.
- There’s no cash option, which is probably my biggest dislike about the app. Unless you are a media partner, there’s just no way AppBounty will pay its members in cash, so this app is not something people can do to get extra income.
- Some people also complained that a lot of the gift cards AppBounty offers are always sold out, making it almost impossible to really redeem the credits earned.
Can People Really Earn From AppBounty?
AppBounty is not a scam, as it really does what it said it will do, pay people credits for every app they download and use. They then can use their earned credits to purchase gift cards they can use in Amazon, iTunes and Google Play.
People will just have to enable cookies in their mobile browsers and not view the websites in incognito mode.
They will have to make sure that the app their using is open for at least 30 seconds (but the longer the better) in order to really earn credit for it.
But can people really earn from AppBounty? The answer to that, of course, is no, as the app currently doesn’t have options for cash payment for its members.
The only way to earn money from AppBounty is to be a social media influencer and want to become their media partner, as each sign up will earn them $0.50.
The media can convert their earnings to actually cash once it reaches $50.

Is AppBounty to be Recommended?
If your goal is to look for ways to make extra money, then AppBounty is not the app you will need to do that, as it doesn’t really provide ways for people to earn money from it.
As a reward earning app, AppBounty does have potential, as it really delivers on its promise of paying people the credits they earned after completing a task or downloading and using an app.
Plus, the rewards they offer can really useful for gamers and for people who love to shop in Amazon and in the iTunes store. The problem here is that most of them are always sold out.
Also, earning enough credits to be able to redeem it for rewards can take a while since the offers and tasks available are always limited.
Unless you are someone who is good at getting people to sign up or join AppBounty, I’m not recommending the app, since getting enough credits to redeem for rewards is very time-consuming.
People are better off using their time in something more productive and financially beneficial than trying to earn enough credits at AppBounty.
